These tigers are abused, often declawed and sedated for tourists pleasure. Please read about cub petting and tiger petting, before going to such attractions. This is a huge issue in the tourism industry and organisations have been fighting it for years, however nothing can be done while copious amounts of tourists choose to disregard these tigers welfare! Nat Geo have a clip on youtube about it and elephants in Thai tourism too, if you don’t feel like reading.
