Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) formerly known as Harcourt Butler Technological Institute (HBTI) is a premier state Technical University in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. The HBTU was named after Mr.Spencer Harcourt Butler, Governor of the United Provinces in British India. Its programs have been conferred in autonomous status under the university. It is one of the oldest engineering institute in the country and holds NAAC A+ accreditation and ISO 9001:2000 certification. Sir , previous year Round 1 18921 Round 1(FW) 5451 Round 2 10466 Round 2(FW) 15979.these are the closing rank. 2019. -6721. 2020. - 852 and thes are closing rank in last few years you can clearly see variation . And there are huge difference between percentile vs marks VS normalised mark .so we can't determine for master degree . because there are interview also and it's also depends how many students are applying . thank you 😊
@@kartikpathak2136 sir the authorities will determine the CUET PG cutoff after considering various factors related to the entrance examination such as difficulty level, number of applicants., number of available seats,. etc. However, it is to be noted that securing the cutoff does not guarantee admission, it just indicates that the candidate has a higher chance of admission. CUET PG cutoff will be released separately by the participating universities . 🛑its depend upon how many students are applying in HBTU .and then after HBTU kanpur will gives the rank ....after considering actual score and normalised score ..that why we can't say how much mark are needed .... It's all depends on merit rank of students which depends on how many students are applying. Thank u 😊

Sir,if really want to pursue MTech for knowledge and placement then go for top IIT or NIT and also there are lot of options there compaed to HBTU. If you want only degree then go for it 😉
Sir,Candidates may apply in the MBA program through CAT score or by appearing in entrance examinations at the University. (a) A valid CAT score card (b)Bachelors level program of 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system in Engineering / Architecture / Medicine / Sciences / Arts / Commerce / Business Administration / Computer Application or other discipline as approved by UGC / AICTE / appropriate governing Body as applicable under the Ministry of Education with aggregate of 60% (55% for SC / ST / PD) or a CPI of 6.0 (5.5 for SC / ST / PD) on a scale of 10 from any UGC / AICTE recognized institute / University, IITs, NITs, and IIITs the final degree examination can also apply. Such candidates, if selected, will be admitted provisionally. They have to complete all the requirements of the qualifying degree at the time of joining the course. (d) For remaining vacant seats in the MBA program University will conduct an entrance examination for Non-CAT score applicants. The schedule of examination shall be available on the University website.
There is no any official information about MBA placement rate available on the official site of HBTU kanpur but according to one of my friend in HBTU . about 75-80 % students are placed last year
