The moment he twisted it the first time, I went "What the actual fuck" my mind blown up
I just got the jelly version of this and it's so hard to wrap my head around the fact that this is a 2x2x2. I get it now, but then seeing the pieces being all the wrong shape still screws with me. :) Fun puzzle though for sure.

Ok it is a two by two, I can do it... I probably can, but it f*cks with your brain, like some other cubes (ghost cube)... try oliver's sticker mod with 3 solutions, color, text and the color of the text

I invented the name "Pyramorphix" and also told Uwe Meffert to sell it in the "Squashed Frog" position so people didn't just think it was the "Twist the corners" real easy version of a Pyraminx.

It depends on the pieces. t perm. Y perm... just do R’ D’ R D like I show for twisting corners.

MY BRAIN
morphix puzzles are literally just shape mods of their equivalent cubes
2*2*2 = pyramorphix
3*3*3 = mastermorphix
4*4*4 = megamorphix
etc...
I fully admit I am not smart enough for this tutorial 😂 I learn how to solve various puzzles to then teach my kiddos, and this one is just way over my head. So far we have done the standard 3x3, 2x2, and pryaminx. I’ll have to try and find a dumbed down version of solving this puzzle 😂 easiest solve has been a favorite for our house, and he explains it in a way that is easy to understand for my kids. He doesn’t have a tutorial for this pyramorphix though. 😅 I’m sure this makes perfect sense to a more seasoned cuber! I am definitely not that.

the R' D' R D Algorythm resets itself after the 3rd repeat.. so you dont need to do it 4 times, you just need to do it once and you are finished..
It is 6 times until it is back to before.

It's an A permutation. You can see all PLLs at www.SpeedCubeReview.com/pll. You don't really need anything other than A.

You do the A perm to swap the corners around. If you put any corners that are paired up in back it will look like it swaps the front two just like a regular 2x2.

Please help. I have 2 sides solved, and all corners. The problem is the green and blue centers are swapped and I don't know how to fix them. Basically the whole thing is solved but the 2 centers. (I know there really corners but I'm just calling them centers.)
Sounds like you need to do a Y perm to swap two opposite corners.
I have a quastion, how do you switch 3 corners (or the centers when it's in a triangle shape) ?
An A permutation swaps 3 corners.

No. A Pyraminx 2x2 is usually just corners that spin (4-axis) while this is 6-axis)

The redi cube is a 3x3 Skewb and a Skewb is a 2x2

That is very inefficient. That is the Niklas alg and unless you are trying to manipulate your PLL a 2-gen RU Sune alg will be much much faster to execute.

They work just like any other 2x2. Just do LBL if you are having trouble.

So it’s a skewb plus a 2x2 plus tetrahedron
It’s just a2x2 shapemod. A Skewb has different axis/core

What are you having trouble with? This tutorial explains how it is just like a 2x2. If you mean the solid color piece. That is just 3 corners that need to be swapped and can be done by either resolving the cube with make one whole 2x2 side first, or by using a commutator.
@@SpeedCubeReview my whole red side is solved. The other side are all solved except the middle is wrong.
Remember that the "middle" pieces, are not the middle of anything but actually corners. Since I'm guessing we don't know commutators yet, solve two solid pieces and two 3-colored pieces. So it solves a full side like a 2x2. Then work on the last layer.
