The first one was called Hitman: Codename 47. It tells the birth of 47, his missions in Columbia, Hong Kong, Rotterdam, Budapest, and finally the asylum in Romania. The Romanian asylum was shown at the intro video of Hitman 2, and Hitman: Contract's first mission picks up right after the end of Hitman: Codename 47. (Many missions in Contracts, like Lee Hong Assassination and Tradition of the Trade was recycled from Codename 47 as well, but the level were much bigger in Codename 47.)
I love all the hitman games. Can't wait to beat the next one. Love how you can choose the way you wanna do the missions and the upgrades where a pretty awesome idea. Loved the fully upgraded bolt action sniper rifle =P. But of course you hardly ever needed to use it. Hopefully the next one they make will have a few more levels when the sniper rile will become your best friend. ^^

In fact, Agent 47 returns from the "Curtains Down" mission you play in Blood Money, where the outro video of the mission suggests that 47 was shot in the guts by a policeman. Due to loss of blood, he then begins to hallucinate in his hotel room, revisiting missions he had done before (many of them are based on missions from the first Hitman game), including his escape after killing his 'father' ("Asylum Aftermath").
Seems so. Eidos has announced it that it is in production but nothing else has leaked out. There was some...guessing if hitman series would end to this one, but it doesn't seem like it . Io's next project seems to be "Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days" which they've been solely focusing. It should be ready this September. Hitman 5 is the next on the list.

Hitman 5 is said to have "some elements" from upcoming sequel of hitman movie, neither eidos or Io interactive has released any other information. Eidos has been more vague, by saying it will be out before year 2010. Io seems to like keeping low profile. Thus far only news are that they registered trademark for Kane and lynch 2, but that's all.

At his "funeral" she kisses 47 on the lips and that is how the antidote for the serum is applied, through the lips, just like with Agent Smith. Sorry for getting so detailed about it

47 is cursed with destruction. He can never have for that will be destroyed, he can never want for that too will be destroyed, and he can never be killed for he will destroy those who try.

Ok, so I haven't played any of the hitman games before "Blood Money", will the story still be easy to follow if I play blood money? Will the story be confusing for me?
47 must enjoy doing what he does. I mean, normally, people who make a shit load of money would have retired and live a good life. This job is so dangerous, too!
3º 47 has been shot while doing a "hit" by a French Detective that knows everything about him, while he's dying he relives all the mission he did, he's saved by a Agency Doctor in the area. 4º The Agency had a "mole"(informant) and several "agent's"(Other hitmen and Informants)are dying 47 helps Diana to take out who know so much about the agency and it's workers, Diana pretends to kill 47 and revives him during his funeral...where he kills everyone in there... Except Diana!
The game would be even better if you could walk the same way he walked in this video, or at least the way he walked in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, which was fucking epic....
@Maxbuerrox I apologize if this sounds callous, but it's entirely his choice, at least by now. He's probably the most competent criminal on the planet - if he wanted out, he could assume any identity he wanted. Sure, his only skills lie in killing, but it's not like most police forces wouldn't welcome an experienced, skilled recruit. At this stage, he's hitmanning because he likes it, or at least prefers it to being a cop or a soldier.
If you played the Hitman series the story actualy makes sense. 1º He's a clone he's sent to kill people for his company...eventualy he becomes selfaware of what he's doing so he kills his creator and all his "brothers". 2º He's been hidding under the guidance of a priest, the priest is kidnapped and 47 is forced to work for the Agency(killing people) in order to find info about the priest whereabouts.
I love this game, but has anyone else thought how sad 47's life really is? All his purpose in life is to end others. No family, no friends, and nothing else to do in life. I know he's a badass but his life is so damn hollow. I really feel for the dude.
@Maxbuerrox its called mental health or depression it means they get sad easy because someone might have hurt his life like family abuse or friends left him for good and feels everyone hates him. He doesn't care about peoples feeling. Search that problem in google to understand more. BTW this is one of my favorite games to play when there is nothing to do i like the murder of crows and dance with the devil mission its exciting and intense especially upgrading your weapons :D
yes it will be confusing the reson why is in blood money they don't really stick to his story it's like what happens right after number 3 number 3 was good but not better the blood money u won't really get the story because there is a really big past between him and his father so pick up hitman one if u find it and number two number three and you already own number four right so just do that if you found the story fun i'm a hitman fan and the story is great and i think u will like the rest

Hitman blood and money is just an epic game! And i am afraid that absolution will not be so amazing game as blood and money :(
