last time I played this game was in 2005, and a lot has changed.

You just reminded me of this awesome game. I used to play it for years when i was a teenager but mostly the private servers with resets etc. Only played the official server for a little while. Thinking of making a comeback now and playing mostly for the nostalgia
Bro same! I picked it up but if you want the "Classic" feel try DevilzMU EX (Extreme) it has resets but only an additional 2k-ish stat points and 10 resets max. It's cross-platform believe it or not and I play on my iPhone! :D
Used to be my childhood game to play with my best friend from highschool, not anymore 😢 he got blood cancer and pass away 7 years ago , so I will just let this game slide, I wont ever touch this game again.
I have 4 main accounts, 3 around lvl 800 and one over lvl 1000, the game was super fun until it became pay to win. If you dont pay you will NEVER reach max level, even paying it takes hundreds of dollars and many months, and you also need a party if people with hundreds of dollars on gear to help you level up once you get to lvl 800+. It was my favorite game now its pay2win, no people to chat with or go pvp and have fun, everyone is afk farming
I was always playing on servers with level resets . Recently I found out this game was meant to just level up to 400lvl :D . Good vide.
I hate the fact almost every server had/has max stats like 32 or 65k, I played for a decade on an italian server who had 6 resets with balanced stats, Any single character was built different, and to reach max level it kept months if playing many hours a day, studying stats and making your own personal unique character was the best part of it.

yep there's not much guides for mu online, some of them here in youtube have a different language so it is hard to watch and follow the guides.

Forget about it,u will play for a month and leave.Its a pay2Win game also they lack servers.Full of people farming taking every main spots,honestly not worth playing it now.
Yeah, every good spots is always taken by farmers and the low sheer amount of server is heinous for 2024. Look at OSRS and how it has like 500-600+ worlds/servers and then back to MU Online with it's measly 14 servers for each main server? 😂
If you play only one char its hard but if you have few at once its pretty easy to become pro and rich. I started like 8 months ago and didnt spent any $ only f2p

plus i don't know what i'm doing lol, don't know about elemental damage. seems complicated at least as of now.

Just started 6-7 days ago with my wife, and we are absolutely confused what's going on so many new stuff and we are just around level 207 (DK-Elf). I played only as a kid also, tens of years before restarting, and we actually really enjoys it! Glad to see how populated the server is!

I decided to play MU after a few years. To me the global server is the worst. Been playing there from day one until my account got stolen. Now it's just a pay to play without any noticeable progress for free players (just like in real life haha). I don't mind donating for some unique stuff that doesn't change the gameplay, or have a monthly access to everyone equally but not what they do. I think any fast server would be way more balanced these days. There's a lot of things to do, just killing mobs all day long isn't fun
Other than people pk-ing. Seeing someone in bc with 4-5 accounts made me quit Mu. Not to mention most interesting classes are pay to play. Who does that on mmorpgs? Mu Online.

I got it last knight and started playing again.
Whats the point there is not pvp onlyfarm and when you look to buy ataff from players they don’t sell you see servers with 2k players but almost all of them afk i use to play a Mu server which you could do max 15 resets every reset you got 500 points and the points reseted so the point of the game was to build characters with the best pvp options and to put the best PvP stats the server had PvP events like bk vs bk MG vs MG SM vs SM the winner got rewarded so you have a reason to farm and build

this game was so epic before , damn! now they added so many new things and is not fun anymore... i remember haunting in ikarus for feathers to create level 1 wings for my guild xD
naaah, today game is set only for premium shop,every event is about buing items from premium and most important this game was about hunting jewes and gear now u can buy max items for real money, its never gona be the same

Yeah it's weird how he stopped uploading videos and only made this video. I think he might've got tired of being F2P and how slow the grind is and quit, maybe?

well done, keep up this content! returning player along the same timeline (i just left the speed server 3 days ago level 800 illusion knight) and i agree; fun game, great community, but a lot of questions to be answered as a new \ returning player and it lacks guides as well as guides in english!

They probably won't make it available on MacBook. It's been Windows only since the game's inception in 2001.

How ppl in this game who start from 0 even progress? I got soul wizard at 260 and he DOES NO DMG AT ALL and drop rate of jewels to even buy something is too low. I do 300dmg per hit and go out of mana in a matter of seconds ...
edit: How many accounts do you have to farm jewels?? And how many accounts WEBZEN allow us to have??
@@Lukasz.Kaa09I think Webzen allows 20 accounts online at all time but if you try to get another account online after that, they'd disconnect all of your current clients lol 😂
At lvl 260, you can't be a Soul Wizard... that's a lvl 800 class change. Are you sure you're playing the official global MU servers?

It's basically P2W yeah but you can enjoy it being F2P until lvl 800-ish.

@@MarkoKalaus I'm not him so I can't personally answer that for you/him. But the reason I believe he might've quit is due to how long since the last video and no more videos after only one video. Also, no updates from him in the comments section and/or update video. So, at this point it's logically and reasonable to say that he might've quit.

is the game still terrible to level tho? that was always a main issue on official server. its TERRIBLE unless u pay a lot money to get the xp boosters. did they fix it or is it still that bad? because if it is its not worth at all. takes way too long
It's still the same since they introduced EXP boosting pets/seals/items, etc. Unfortunately it seems they won't change that.
is it me or the spawn rate of the mobs are pretty slow? do you know if gold channels spawn mobs quicker?
I think it's the same mob spawn rate for both F2P and P2P servers.

hello, I've never played Mu online in my life, but now I felt like it, so I only found the webzen version, so I don't know about any good server :D, I'm a complete beginner in Mu online, and in two days they play it, I have to say, why didn't I find it earlier! although I play on the Fresei server, when I asked about something, nobody said anything :D, a very interesting game, I now know why people play it so much

I log in to my old account from time to time and it saddens me, how much pay to win this game have become, if you don't spend any money you virtually play a different game.
Not true. You can make many farmers on speed servers, get free buffs and stuff from events. Eventually you will pass the whales. They pay tons to get some items and levels fast, but theres no point to pay for levels if you dont have high level items. Enjoy and grind. Eventually you will pass the whales or be same level as them, but without paying from x shop.
Im personally paying only for Gold server to support game, nothing else. Rest comes from events etc.

Can you guys tell me what your recommendation for scoring up the strength\agility\energy for Dark Wizard \ ELF \ KNIGHT?
I mean -
in lvl 50 the stats should be like;
in lvl 100 the stats should be like;
Basically pump everything to main damage stat of your class to learn damage spells and the rest for armor wearing requirements and some to HP. The HP breakpoints are quite necessary sometimes to not get oneshot.
Dark Wizard (Agility) - Strength for set and weapon. 408 Energy for Soul Barrier. Rest of the points on Agility.
Dark Wizard (Energy) - Strength and Agility for set and weapon. Rest of the points on Energy.
Dark Knight (Strength) - Agility for set and weapon. 300-500 Energy for Mana and Mana/AG restore rate. Rest of the points on Strength.
Dark Knight (Agility) - 1060 Strength for Blade Knight's Fury skill(s) and for set and weapon. 300-500 Energy for Mana and Mana/AG restore rate. Rest of the points on Agility.
Elf (Agility) - Strength for set and weapon. Rest of the points on Agility.
Elf (Energy) - Strength and Agility for set and weapon. Rest of the points on Energy.

Usually about the first quarter of every year, a speed server with bunch of exp boosts and items will open for like a month or two

The problem with the game now is its way better to make as many accounts as you can, last time I played I only chose servers that didnt allow multi boxing or had a two account limit.
