Sean & Ryan both have a rare gift of getting the best stories and characters in motorsports documented in a fantastic style. Couldn't be more thankful for these guys.
This is some of the best content out there. Thank you to motor trend, Acura, and continental to keeping this going. I listened to all the podcast and watch the video. Keep up the good work fellas.
Saw the podcast version of this on Indycar reddit and some linked this video. Very nice that you guys have posted both the longer podcast and this video version 😍
What a captivating episode. Enjoyed watching this so much and as Mario said, rarely you hear stories about failed attempts so this was interesting to watch. Hope that there would be more interviews of drivers who got bumped from Indy 500
Cheese goes on tacos. Thanks continental tires, tha ks motortrend. These stories are amazing and deserve to keep being told. I'm ride or die with DWR and cannot wait to see more. Thanks Sean and Ryan.... Man I wish I could have made the screening a couple Fridays ago.
Dinner with Racers is the best free content you can buy. Keep it up guys and thanks to Continental Tire for making it happen. Finally c’mon Turner Motorsports-get your taco game on track!
Although I grew up a Buddy Lazier fan, this has now made me jump ship. I hope Mario gets a chance again some day. What a story. Great job Sean and Ryan, well told as always!
Excellent content, excellent storyline. But that team teaches you that even if your up against Giants, you never give up you fight to the inspite of whatever it cost. Because quitting isn't an option, and that's what makes makes this world such a great place. Men like Tyler, and his whole team/family, do what they do, because even in failure there is victory.
What a story. Holy cow. People that aren’t into motorsport just don’t get the emotion is inherent in the sport. And of COURSE tacos have cheese….I mean come on. Thanks continental tire for DWR. Been such a great ride from day one.
Great episode! I remember watching this on TV in Portsmouth, VA (For IndyCar, Virginia is a state with many sports fans). I was sad when he crashed because I liked the car and was cheering for all the Champ Car teams. I started tearing up watching. I'm one of the people that hates bumping right now, because of the amount of money lost in getting bumped and there is limited money in IndyCar. Before sending me hate messages, what is the ROI in racing today (not 1990)? Also, Brienne Pedigo should have been in the episode, she did a great job reporting that day.
>Doesn't tell wife or talk to anyone important about buying into the project No sympathy for him. Would be different if he was just running about solo but you got a family depending on you man. Guess it's just the result after a rough childhood life, consistently making the right decisions is hard, even when it's obvious.
Who do you think will win this year's Indy 500?
Pato!
Josef Newgarden
I think it will be Palou.
I'm pulling for Marco and Kathrine Legge.
Rossi
Potato

This is my favorite episode done by DwR! They do an awesome job telling a story that typically doesn’t get told.

Love and hate this story. So heartbreaking. If I had only known the story when I was watching it live that year...
I'm a real person that acknowledges what I saw, and doesn't just leave a fire emoji. 😂 Love these stories guys, keep it up!
Awesome work once again! Thanks to Motortrend and Continental for making this all happen!

So good! When i hit the lotto, mario and me are running the 500!
This was exceptional! Major kudos for this production and sharing the stories of these amazing people.
Amazing!!
What an interesting story that we'd never hear if it wasn't for DWR and Continental. Keep up this show, it's truly one of a kind!
Great episode! Watched quali for the 2023 500 today. Just like shown here the teams seem to be equal parts creativity, determination and insanity.
What a story. Holy cow. People that aren’t into motorsport just don’t get the emotion is inherent in the sport. And of COURSE tacos have cheese….I mean come on. Thanks continental tire for DWR. Been such a great ride from day one.
This is amazing, what an incredible story!!
LOVE DwR! They’ve created a body of work that I’m not sure if they even thought would be this vast. Wonderful!
LOL'd at "They're all successful, accomplished, good race car drivers." BEAT "And Marty Roth 🤣."
This was excellent. I want to hear more about the customs agents demanding $2,500.
This is an incredible story!
What a great story, I didn't think that I could get any more pumped for qual today and the 500 next week, LETS GO
This is so awesome.
This is great stuff!
I’d love to see Mario get another chance at Indy.
I remember this. I didn't know it was as dire as it was to get in.
Phenomenal episode

Seeing Mario's reaction to having to re-watch his failed qualifying attempt, shows you what Indy means
I’m not crying you’re crying
Really enjoy this stuff. We'll done
Thanks Acura, Continental, Valvoline, and MT for this content
That's no more Valvoline. Why I run Mobil 1 again!
Cheese comes on Mexican tacos 🌮 and Continental Tires RULE!
Hey, Will Turner, tacos have cheese 🌮
Inspiring story 😮
MOVIE 🍿
What a great ensemble of characters.
Title: Cheese on Tacos
10/10
Infinite thanks to Sean, Ryan, Continental, Acura, and Motor Trend for sharing such great stories...
"You just don't what Indy means..."
Great video!
"We're on a road trip" will never be unfunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the best tacos have cheese. So yes, authentic tacos CAN have cheese!
Quick reminder that cheese goes on tacos.
Sorry the introduction does not match the awesome direction and production of this amazing episode. Great stuff
At 9:36 ... Is that an 8 year old AJ Allmendinger? Here's my comment. You're welcome.
Tacos have cheese!!
Tacos have cheese on them.
Real tacos have cheese!!!
tacos and cheese go together like....tacos and cheese
Tacos have cheese. No doubt.
Tacos have cheese
Wow...
Maybe Dominguez can take over Rahal's seat at the end of this season....
What a great story. Re-mortgaging your house to buy a race team? Proof that racing people are stupid, but utterly wonderful and I'm proud to be one.
