I am back with a pov as promised :3 y'all enjoy! (gender neutral reader, somewhat vague spoilers for sylus' main story chapters, and a bit suggestive but I mostly wrote this as a character study!! Sylus cares about the mc so much more than we even know so far and I hope I got that across ^^ ︶⊹︶︶୨୧︶︶⊹︶ “You tried to kill me the last time we were in this situation. Why should I believe _this time_ will be any different, kitten?” Wine-red wisps of Sylus’ Evol flickered around you, coalescing into thicker bands that settled firmly around your wrists. A low sound reverberated from the back of his throat, a flick of his fingers beckoned you forward, and Sylus _pulled_ you to straddle his waist with a surprised yelp as you found yourself seated atop the leader of Onychinus. You watch as he caged your wrists with crimson smoke, your hands resting at the base of his neck. Your fingers slowly traced the edge of the choker (the collar) he wore, admiring the way the black leather complimented… well, everything. You could take your time to enjoy the way Sylus wore such _accessories_ so well, you decided. You could also wonder how he’d look with a leash attached. “Well? What are you waiting for?” Sylus’ voice broke through the haze forming in your mind, forcing you to return to reality, _his_ reality; a scornful sort of mirth glowing behind half-lidded eyes as he smiled up at you. You felt his Evol dissipate from around your wrists as he watched you, waiting. Despite his earlier question, you realized that right now, Sylus was _playing_ with you, of all things. And you had followed so _instinctively,_ delighting in his game as if you’d already known the rules for a lifetime. Perhaps you had known them in another life: why else would you have fallen so naturally into the push and pull? Why else into this giving and taking, and then the taking of _more?_ A sharp, frustrated breath left your lungs as you pulled at the collar around Sylus’ neck; earning a gasp, then a _chuckle_ from the man below you as you shifted yourself over his lap, trying to maintain the inches of delicious, _torturous_ distance between you, as well as an attempt at proper balance when it came to straddling him. “You know that you could pull a gun on me at any moment, sweetie,” Sylus murmured. “I know you’ve always got one in your holster, after all-the one I gave you, if I remember correctly.” As if sensing your frustration, Sylus adjusted his own position; slotting his thigh between your own legs. You _squirmed_ above him, a devilish, almost sympathetic chuckle escaping his lips as he met your gaze for a moment. _"Look_ at yourself, sweetie,” he crooned. “And tell me what you see.” His own gaze flickered down: Down to your chest as it rose and fell with each shaking breath (you would deny this), down to your hands, to your fingernails, digging into the fabric of his shirt to find purchase in the flesh of his waist beneath (you would deny this again), back up to the dazed, wanton look in your eyes (you couldn’t deny this if you _tried)._ Slowly, you unclenched your right hand from Sylus’ shirt and dropped it to your thigh-to your holster, your weapon; letting your fingers smooth over cold leather and colder gunsteel in an attempt to soothe the _burning_ that pooled in your stomach. This attempt was all for naught, however, and a quiet, satisfied snarl left Sylus’ throat as his hand closed over your own. “You don’t need my help,” Sylus mused, leaning forward, letting his hands loosen, running up your thighs to slowly, _gently_ press into your flesh, pulling you closer. “You just need me. And I need you.” Sylus pressed his forehead to yours; gentle, glowing embers kneeling to _kiss_ the wildfire in your veins and stoke it into something more subdued than before-still desperate, still _hollow,_ but now the aching was something different-something tender. Crimson smoke lapped at your fingers as Sylus teased the idea of wrapping his Evol around you again-watching as it flowed through his fingers, waiting as it fell slowly around your thighs, dissolving into _nothing_ as it did. His fingers softly traced over the waistband of your pants; memorizing each stitch, each tiny snag in the well-worn fabric, and he leaned just a bit closer, his lips only a hairsbreadth away from yours. “I,” Sylus began, and suddenly _everything_ seemed softer, “I will _always_ need you. Please, _never…_ please don’t forget that, darling.”
This is so well written. I can see which scene you tried to re wrote... This is such a different comtext and still so well fitting. I loved reading it!! Do you happen to write ff?? Or it's a simoly pov??
I am almost halfway done to the playlist and this playlist by far the most i liked... All the songs falling in same voice range and pitch is so nice to hear as compared to other playlists trying to include the most trendy ones i liked the sings and vibes of this playlist... This actually felt like a sylus playlist to me. Thanks you so much for this. I will wait to hear other LI's playlists too... 🥰😍
