Give your team all the props, they ran all over the aggroids, and were the superior team. 2 of SC losses were by less than 6 points, they could easily be a 7 win team already, and ranked in the top 10. Just for clarification, the TE Joshua Simon is from SC, who played at Western Kentucky prior to SC, but the Olympic Speed track guy you were thinking of is likely WR Nyck Harbor, who runs a sub 10.2 hundy. He did not record a catch, as the Gamecock WRs combined for only 4 Rec for 20 yds. It still comes down to blocking and tackling, but it seems like your coaching staff might not have had it's best performance. Good luck going forward.
The Oylmpic Sprinter is Nyck Harbor #8. He plays WR. We threw a couple deep balls to him. He is still learning the positoon. But qualified for the Olympic Trails back in June in the 200. He runs a 10.1 in the hundred and a 20.2 in the 200.
LSU fan here, watched last night after being impressed by your performance beating my Tigers. SC reminded me exactly of how the Ags beat LSU. TBH, think the leash is a little too long on your defense, SC was exploiting the over eager defensive rush. I loved the passion and effort, but the play looked wreckless and lucky not being called on after-play personal foul injuries.
The players were in the wrong head space. Whether they were overconfident or just didn't take the situation seriously, we got outplayed. USC played a great game and we didn't, congrats to them. Football basics MUST be the standard.
Your DBs were holding all night on almost every play. The penalties that got called were a small sample of what could have been. We’re SC and we don’t get the benefit of the calls, we just don’t. When you play a Ga, Bama or Texas those will get called every time. You got beat by a tougher more physical team.
This team, as constituted has never had their ass handed to them. They probably needed this, if not for this year, then the next. This one will stick in their craw and make them better. My guess is that as the players are in the locker room, Elko will ( or should ) say, this ones on me. We won’t lose another game this year.. drop the mike and leave.
Also, that late field goal by SC late in the first half to tie the game was disenchanting as well. Just a tough loss but one that the team can hopefully build off of.

Missed tackles at this point in the season is beyond frustrating. But penalties have consistently been bad & tonight was no exception. Rightfully Elko accepted the blame so really want to know what was said at half? Where is the discipline he brings in regards to basic tackling & penalties? Turner is single-handedly killing any defensive stops and yet we see it week after week. I believe in Elko, but this lack of discipline & fundamentals is concerning.
10 played well unfortunately our defense did not. The over pursuit and miss tackles were ridicules! I was waiting for the defensive adjustments, but they just never came.

For the record, that is the best SC defensive squad in 20+ years. That is what your offense ran into. I can’t explain what your defense ran into but tonight sellers reminded me of what cam newton looked like at auburn…Tonight anyway.

A&M could not finish the tackle and keep contain tonight so much happened on the sidelines. SC play calling and grit won them the game. I think Marcel played quite well tonight. His arm was very accurate, just those handoffs really got to get fixed.
As a SC fan... it may have been a different game had TA&M's top RB wasn't injured. Hate to see superb talent hurt

Should have let Weigman take his lumps as a starter for success in the future. Rotating QBs isn't going to lead to success. Stick with your starter.
