Alcohol wipes are easier to get a hold of if anyone is wondering. And just make sure the glass is dry before sticking to it. Why? It helps clear off any dust and particles hairs etc to not get in with your design.

So i am trying to make my decal but the images are not connected . Do you know how I can get them to attach to each other so I can then layer it ? (The pieces are all separated and would be hard to put back together)

All of these tip videos show the crafter wasting so much vinyl. Who can afford to waste so much vinyl?

@@CourageousCat13 many people are calling it a hack but I really don't think it's necessary. The transfer paper is transparent so that's enough 🙂

@@clofox7that has nothing to do with why you are using parchment paper.

@@CourageousCat13it is hard to layer vinyl on vinyl because you get one chance to get it right, and often, it is not lined up like you want. You take your first layer of vinyl and apply it where you want it, or you can layer on a flat surface and then apply all together. Picture laying your first vinyl on a flat surface. Take your second layer and apply your parchment paper to the sticky side, leaving just a small piece at the top, or side, uncovered. Line that small piece up on your vinyl, and then lay it down on your first layer. Because the parchment paper is there, your vinyl doesn’t stick together, and you can see if it is lined up perfectly. If it is not, now you can lift, adjust, and get it the way you want it. When it is lined up perfectly, start peeling back the parchment paper, as you are layering your vinyl. You can go slow and stick your first layer, to your second. Now you have a perfectly lined up piece of vinyl and you didn’t waste any of it by getting it stuck together in the wrong place. Save that parchment paper, you can use it over and over. I hope that explains it a bit.
