This is incredible, he only had time to write the part for the violin one hour before he performed this; the piano part "was in his mind" as was discovered in his letter to his father Leopold.
Sin duda, Mozart es el compositor más versátil, un genio absoluto de la música. Esta obra está adelantada a su época, suena a romanticismo de mitad del siglo 19 con el toque único mozartiano.
I would have to disagree. While it’s an expressive piece and could maybe be considered very early romantic, the harmony and structure is still extraordinarily classical. Not to say it’s bad in any way, the structure and simplicity of form is what makes it so great!
Yes, part of Mozart’s genius was to ‘apparently’ work within the norms and conventions of his time but take those forms way beyond the expected. It’s also true that ‘era’s, ‘ages’ and ‘epochs’ don’t just begin and end immediately, they don’t ring a bell and say “Classical era ends tonight, tomorrow everything is Romantic”, works like this demonstrate that.
I can always tell an American by the way they adopt that Afro post slave dialect which for some reason they find so amusing although it degenerates everything even humor itself

Yes, amazing! Thanks.
Une véritable merveille cette sonate, peut-être la plus belle de toutes, magnifiquement jouée par ce beau duo Szering/Haebler
a unique Sonata by Mozart. Can´t believe that he is the composer.
No one told me before that Mozart is a romantic composer!
It seems so!

Grazie!
Wow this is so ahead of its time, it would fit right in with mid Romantic era repertoire.
Thank you, I agree.
Kinda of what I was thinking too, especially in the intro. Not your typical Classical era.

All three movements are mesmerizing! This one really stands out from the others
El comienzo es simplemente hermoso.
Beethoven famously said of this piece: "yo this shit is straight fire son"
And then added: "I'm gonna use some stuff from this one on my second movement of my op. 2 no. 3".

¿Qué más se puede pedir con las hermosas piezas de Mozart?
That's what I call divine.
Que bella es☺️
Hermosísimas como toda la de el
It's strange that the solo keyboard sonatas are better known to the public, but the violin sonatas form a more significant group of works.
Yes, I think so.

8:04 Beethoven?
I think Beethoven heard this sonata. There are many elements to suspect that.
He did - compare K379 with his WOO 36 - the piano quartet in Eb@@danielbuyanov
Amazing! I never heard that quartet.@@michaelcorkery3853
Mozart wrote this sonata in 1781, and Beethoven wrote his piano quartet in 1785, when he was only fifteen. Beethoven really knew Mozart's work.
The opening is amazing!@@danielbuyanov
What skill level would this be for the violin?
Intermediate. Hardest thing about this would simply be counting and keeping the rhythm straight in the andante.
bom.
A lot of fun
i agree
