Been there twice recently and blanked both times. Not even a tug or follow. As I am now retired, I go fishing in the week, normally a wed or Thursday. The fish are a bit cleverer during the week after a weekend bashing. I told Lee I’d be back in the spring.
Met a subscriber on the bank by the name of Andy/Alan (Sorry mate can't remember which one) who is totally responsible for telling me where to fish to get my last trout - cheers mate!!

Lake down is a very nice venue …. Not sure how they would feel about me shooting footage there so I have never taken my go pro

Is that the sunray fl fly line your using if so what do you think of them ??
It’s the bloke x50 fly line - very good actually …. Not sunray …. Used sunray lines before they cast great but can have durability issues
