This happened to me. I got into psychedelics which lead me to experience nirvana and after the come down I tried so hard to find the correct practices to lead me to the path. Meditating with crystals and trying to open chakras was my biggest mistake. I became an open vessel to bad entities and it lead me to developing psychosis. I am healing now thanks to returning to my faith in Jesus Christ. I hope this message helps others. Amen to you sister

Wow my testimony is pretty similar to yours. I love this so much. I was born and raised Christian but fell prey to the spiritual new age community for the past 15 years.. what a sad, confusing, false rooted, self centered, dark spiral that was. Always seeking and never truly finding. I came back to Jesus recently and have never felt so much peace, love, and clarity in my life! God was so patient with me and all my mistakes. I hope everyone gets to experience his love. Jesus is king!

It's soo unfortunate when God's people/Christianity "sell" out and don't fully surrender to God. We feel that we are missing out on something. And this causes the gospel, and walk with Christ to seem so powerless and ineffective, with all the diluting that goes on. Not to mention, it makes God look foolish, powerless, and irrelevant. But He will only allow it for so long, and now we are getting a more balanced image of what and who He is, and how the body of Christ is supposed to look. Truth is key, and He's definitely going to use those who LOVE TRUTH. Doesn't the Word say God IS LOVE, and Jesus said He is The TRUTH!!!🩷

Though the Book of Enoch is not considered canonical, I discovered this verse that resonated with me in regards to Ayahuasca Enoch 7:10 “Then they took wives, each choosing for himself; whom they began to approach, and with whom they cohabited; teaching them sorcery, incantations, and the dividing of roots and trees.” The shamans of the Amazon literally say the spirits taught them how to make Ayahuasca and people often encounter “dmt entities” and “meet God” in these trips. Something to think about when considering how Aya is literally chacruna and caapi vine, as well as Ibogaine is a root.

hi there.hola hooray hey. here we go the truth coming up,actually turah&bible were from god but they had been corrupted afterwards as a result god sent down quran upon prophet muhammed&god said i`ll preserved the quran thereby god had fulfilled his promise ,let me show u friendly&honestly the truth, okee dokee.shedding the light on christianity to know the truth first of all there is no original bible the 4 main bible are contradicted to each other yet there is 1 quran but who is the writer of bible the answer is paul the jewish who hates jesus let us discuss about the significant event which is crucifixion why does your would claimed god left his only son to crucify without any sin he had committed the disaster reached its uttermost when u found bible said on the tongue of jesus my god my god why do u forsaken me means jesus has never crucified willingly have u an idea why do they `ve crucified jesus because it`s a penalty of an impure &particularly crucifixion because dindn`t touched the earth make it an impured that what paul said jesus gets impure for the sake of us &see the authentic god what does said in quran chapter 3 verse 55 by the name of god the most gracious&most merciful ,
O Jesus, I will take you and raise you up to me, and had purified you from those who disbelieve, and He will place those who follow you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection, then to Me is your return, so I will judge between you regarding that in which you differed, the authentic god rose jesus to the sky before they kill him in addition he had purified him from a false accusation of he was an impure . quran verse is comply with the bible itself :So they lifted up stones to stone him. But Jesus did and went out of the temple, passing through them." ( John 8:59 ),let alone of many verses in the bible incites to violence thus u found the largest massacres had happened in history the ww1&2 christian countries against christian countries 100 millions had been killed not to mention the sex stories in the bible nay u never found a single sex word in quran, don`t take it in personal just i clarify u the plain truth, bible said woman when she during the menstruation she gets impure &any thing she would touched it will be impure &should stay at her room till had done of it don`t see that an insulting to woman &how does the claimed god in bible said so he demeans& underrates his own creatures, yet islam honored the woman &she has a complete chapter its name women show us her rights, let us look at modern medicine which refutes the bible, ovulalation happens every 28 days from overy next month from other ovary when fertilization fails to happen mestrual bleading happens it always stops when a female gets pregnant ,menstrual cycle ovulation the female genital system consists of one uterus to overuse vagine& externat genital organs ,,the blood during menstruation could cause diseases to spread and that’s why does a woman during her menstruation needed to isolate so the blood would not be passed around to other people & diseases not be spread that`s what god has said in quran and they ask you about menstruation say, isolate women don't come near them untill they get purified verse 222 chapter 2,why there are priests, pastors&nuns are reverted daily to islam, yet u `ve never a muslim clergy left islam as per western media said that islam is the fastest growing religion in the world,i didn`t like to push islam onto u god said no compulsion in religion verse 256 chapter 2,figure it out then make up your mind,peace....

Hey Chris, your testimony has been on my mind for the past two weeks. Over the years, I've travelled and dabbled through different modalities - I started with tarot, astrology and I begun to use drugs - it all turned destructive and spent the last 3 years in a spiritually numb state and dropped all of those things. I've been sober in CA for 7 months now. I've processed tonnes of trauma through therapy and I'm on the right track. I am not totally convinced by the woo woo - and through the soundbaths, ecstatic dances, etc that I've been doing, I've noticed a definite disconnect and shift since watching this video. Still, due to conditioning... I'm reluctant to go to a church. Please can you help me find some clarity through this? The work of Joe Dispenza has helped me massively. I love yoga and it keeps me physically fit. I'm conflicted. I'm not as all in as you are and doubt I'll ever be as testimonies have definitely resonated... I just feel at a bit of a cross roads... This isn't written super eloquently or passionately but I'm feeling immense confusion and numbness around this. Your advice is greatly appreciated. (Phoebe 25 from London)

I really appreciate you sharing this story. Very intimate, brave of you to share. I actually had an experience backwards from you. I had faith in Jesus Christ but was ill with something life long. Think it actually had to do with childhood trauma as well.
I got super into Christianity after I had a oneness experience when I was a teenager. I eventually went on to Bible college, but like you I had a lot of questions about hell. I started trusting myself to read the Bible and I started to realize it didn’t actually say much of what I’ve been told. I got really confused and religion started to be really painful, a lot like you describe your seeker phase.
Finally I’m finding what I was always looking for in psychedelic medicine and meditation. I think Christianity was just too painful for me from spiritual abuse as a kid, it honestly feels like psychedelics helped free me from the pain of false religion.
It’s interesting how similar your journey sounds to mind but we found our healing in different places. Glad you made it brother!

I am posting again to share some things about my life. I resonated with this video because I can see myself in much of it. I went through a lot of search throughout 15 years. I'm 39 now and I myself have undergone around 25 ayahuasca experiences, perhaps 50 psilocybin experiences, tons of yoga/kundalini, and have very much studied various religions in depth. I have also traveled the world for 8 years.
Yet, after all that, I, like you, have come to Christ. Why? Because it's about the message. The message is what my soul feels. And it does liberate. I can sense that in your video that it also occurred to you, a heart liberation. If one focuses on the message or what's behind the stories or costume as I like to call, this is more important I feel than getting hung up on specifics. Because getting caught up on specifics can lead to a stigmatizing of other cultures and their religious practices, and it's not about the clothing, but about our actions, if they are in line with love and the same thing that Jesus teaches.
There are many, many beautiful and pure souls in the world who were not brought up with Christianity. It's not fair to see these people or to judge these people as doomed just because they grew up in a different culture.
The teachings of Jesus are incredibly valuable and it is heart-based. Love based. As many people have commented here, yes, love is the way, and Jesus's teachings show how many of the ways to love. Also, not to judge.
There was one Christian preacher who recommended re-reading the new testament and replacing all the words Jesus with love. Jesus is Love made into a person, a person which you can also take in within. This is the greatest achievement of achievements I feel.
I will mention again (as I did in another comment) that there is quite a big parallel with Christ and Krishna, that even some Vaishnavas in history called themselves Christnas. The term etymologically could have derived from them even. The Vaishnavas are known for bhakti or worship of God. Go to any Vaishnava, and chances are they also are in harmony with Jesus Christ as they resonate with this devotional service. To praise is the way and all sorts of miracles happen. A Vaishnava will say it's the best path, quickest path toward inner liberation.
It's my path. Where a Vaishnava may repeat a mantra of love for Source, a Christian will repeat a prayer for source. Apples and oranges.
I feel again we should go deeper and not get lost in the costume. Hold to the message. Is it good? Is it full of heart? Know that sometimes when involved in a group or clique, inside there is a lot of love and community, but immediately outside of that is absent of love; there is judgement and even possibly hate, and I find many Christians may fall into this, and this does appears to be the complete opposite of the intended message of Jesus.

      @bobbycecere1037 ปีที่แล้ว +3

If you judged other cultures as doomed that was on you, not them.
There is no culture on this planet that has not received the message of Christ. You might think that being raised in a so called Christian nation gives you a leg up When it comes to a relationship with Jesus but that just isn't the case.
There are probably just as many true christians in India as there are here in the US.
The VAST Majority of people you know who consider themselves christians will have the same fate As everyone else.

What you just described is not a thing. Christianity has been proselytizing in every nation on Earth For at least a couple 100 years now.
And I'm talking about multiple denominations. I know of one orginization alone that has missionaries on literally every continent and in every territory.

Why does this feel like my life.. this just resonates too much with me. I’ve grown up in the church, a preachers kid- I’m 19. I’ve sorta shied away from church and started the use of psychedelics. I believe though, that psychedelics, when used in small doses, have helped healed a lot of the pain and trauma I’ve went through growing up. Everyones story is different, and I appreciate this testimony. I still do go to church, but it’s off and on.. I guess I’m just trying to discover more about life, as I’ve grown up only in the church serving and doing all sorts of different things. One thing remains.. it’s prayer. Prayer is the center of my life.

Eternal God our Father, help us to hold on to Your unchanging hands. There is no one like You Lord. In times like these we need a Savior like You who is able to keep us from falling and present us faultless before Your throne with exceeding glory. You are a God who makes a way out of no way. We need You every second, every minute and every hour. We can't make it without You. Give us strength to keep our eyes on You Lord to finish this race. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, persecuted but not forsaken, struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death ofJesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake so that that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal body. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. May we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. Lord we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ who loved us. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirits as He shelters you under His wings. In Jesus' mighty and sovereign name. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your story and I am glad you are in a good spiritual place. I am going through something similar, but our stories are a bit reversed. Born and raised Christian, but much of my younger teen life was full of pain and depression. I had intense fear of hell and demonic possession, to the point I slept with a lamp on and had my Bible by my head. I realized the only reason I was following God was out of fear, not because I really wanted to. It was a religion based on convenience. I didnt read the Bible. Never wanted to go to church. At its core Christianity is an ultimatum: Either worship God or burn in hell forever.
That just never sat right with me and it didn't make sense. I started viewing the Bible objectively and things just weren't adding up. Much like you, I started to think about the billions of other people both past and present and their different views of worship. Can we simply chalk up every other spiritual gift, human experience, or belief as nothing more than "demonic influence"? Why are Christians the only ones who get to have spiritual encounters with the divine? What about the Native Americans and their beliefs, the shamans of the South America's, Buddhist monks, Hindus, Muslims, African tribes? Are they burning in hell for simply practicing what was taught to them?
I have been questioning everything recently, and am diverging on a new path. There are so many important spiritual teachers and books full of knowledge out there. To me there is so much more to learn in this life, and we each have to walk our own spiritual path to walk. I am so glad you have found happiness and contentment in your choice. 🙂

Thanks for sharing. I can relate to your journey!
The idea of opening up yourself to the spirit world through chanting or ecstatic dance or 'spiritual' music is real. You don't know what kind of spirit can come through. This can even happen from reading a book. I experienced that recently when my yoga friend was reading a book about Improv dance. ( Preface this with: I'm fairly new to Christianity, the Bible, demons and angels etc. ) For some odd reason that night, she started reading a chapter out loud to me. I had no prior interest in the book, and found the book's cover with photo of a grotesque figure unappealing. As she was reading (I was half listening and didn't really pay attention to the subject), I felt a portal opening above us... and about 10 seconds later, I heard the word "Shiva" as if I was expected it. Then I told her to stop reading and I walked away. That was my first encounter with a portal opening. I remember that night that Shiva in Hindu represents "darkness" or destruction. Shiva ritualistic dances are used in opening ceremonies in recent years at the Olympics and at CERN, a physics laboratory that performs experiments on black holes. I don't know what it all means because I didn't sit around long enough that night to allow her to finish reading, and maybe there were bad spirits waiting to come through, but I am firm believer that it's better not to mess with the Spiritual realm unless it's coming from God.
I didn't tell her about that evening yet. I plan to next time when I visit her again. The good news is that she started going to church out of curiosity. She felt the holy spirit she went. Now I just pray that she move away from all the Kundalini practices.

There is a big difference between 1) filling everything with Christ 2) being aware of the heart and lungs God gave you with rate and size of breaths 3) "opening yourself up" and "inviting enlightenment" that starts opening doors to evil, possession, etc.

I had a friend who pursued a lot of the things talked about here except for drug/substances of any kind. One thing she disliked about Christianity was the concept of sin. She too had been raised in a Christian home, but it was nominal Christianity. I have found that most people who chase all these altered realities do not want to deal with sin. It makes me think of a passage in James Joyce's semi-autobiographical novel, "A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man." In that passage, a man is speaking to the main character, Stephen Dedalus, who rejects Catholicism because he can't believe in transubstantiation. The man makes the comment to Stephen that the Catholic Church has saints. Having saints, he says, is important because it shows that there is something important for society to recognize sin and recognize those who have worked to avoid it in their lives.

Thanks for the testimony. Sounds similar to my path (without the psychedelics 😂) but I am an engineer and now practice medicine. In college I became agnostic and materialistic due to my scientific mind and smart atheist friends but also due to my incorrect assumption that science and faith are in conflict. After many years of depression anxiety and questioning the point of my life I thought if there is meaning it must be in Love. Then in reading the letters of Paul and the Gospels learning that God is love. Reading Catholic Theology and discovering people like Thomas Aquinas and Barron and seeing that faith and reason go hand in hand and scientific truth and theological truth are both part of God’s truth. I realized it is reasonable to have faith and faith is rational or supranational. We can never prove in this life one way or another. But we can choose to have hope or not. And like I think doestoevsky said I’d rather be wrong with Christ than right with atheists. Although I do not believe I am wrong with Christ for many reasons.

Thanks for the comment John! The "intelligent" world downplaying Christianity was a strong theme in my own resistance to Christianity. Really appreciate your sharing. Don’t know if u will see this, but had a similar path as you, left tech career and explored psychedelics / eastern faiths like advaita, zen, Sufism and Taoism etc… tldr - ended up in orthodox Christianity which finally tied up many loose ends (the concept of theosis and ontological transformation via the Eucharist filled a deep intellectual hole I was unable to reconcile with Protestantism, other faiths, spiritualities and philosophies).
Also came to appreciate the immense dangers of demonic influences which was something I dismissed before until trying psychedelics - couldn’t shake the sense that psychedelics had opened my mind up to something sinister and like you felt it was very off, and this only made sense after listening to the ancient faiths podcast / and other podcast related to orthodox Christian traditions on demonology….

Praise the Lord! Thanks for sharing. I can relate. I deeply appreciate the eastern Orthodox church and especially their teachings on theosis and prayer. I have Fr. Paisios multi volume set and would love to make a trip to Mt. Athos sometime. Also, I can relate to the revelation of evil post psychedelics as well as, for me, a sense of freedom in acknowledging the truth of evil and deception. Lastly, I relate with you on the cognitive dissonance around no-self, non duality, duality. Trying to grapple with these led to less peace, whereas contemplating the God man Jesus Christ, who becomes the doorway into God's presence is so fulfilling, and mysterious simultaneously. Contemplating the mystery from the place of relationship with Christ and His covering, is so much better. One thing, I have a hard time with Orthodox faith is some of the doctrine around salvation seems to lead to an unhealthy relationship with works in my opinion. Deep appreciation for your sharing and wish you blessings on your journey deeper in.

@@newwaycs Ty for replying and praise the Lord indeed! haha yea there were many instances in your video where I was having multiple “that’s literally me” moments (eg the pantheistic / solipsistic experiences), while cringing at myself at the same time. Feels odd to look back and chuckle, but on hindsight, guess a lot of these esoteric / eastern spirituality practices along with psychedelic use only disclose “half” of the process, ie, the emptying of the mind structurally and content wise, but don’t really speak much on the structural vacuum as well as what fills the mind after (which is where the process of theosis comes in). It actually hit me (specifically after a 5 meo dmt experience), where this palpable sense of feeling mentally exposed and being open game to questionable entities left deep doubts. It’s a relief to find out that I’m not alone experiencing this after watching your extremely detailed testimony.
Hmmm, I was bothered about the works part too initially due to my upbringing in a Protestant church, works / sola fide also did feel quite legalistic and transactional which put me off when younger during my agnostic phase, however was pretty much ingrained in me. Until I realized my impression was misguided and scrupulosity per works was in error - also realized online spaces dominated by “orthobros” was also not the best place for enquiry. Similar to the metaphor of works as being akin to fruit after cultivation of good seed on good ground, or, a lot like karate kid having faith in his sensei’s seemingly patronizing instructions of doing wax on and off cleaning cars which as karate training appeared inane and pointless, however the kid’s faith and practice ended up being useful and making sense only later on.
Similar to the kid who isn’t able to take on the fullness of karate immediately, we cannot take on the fullness of God immediately and this (theosis) takes place gradually via a series “veils” / garments concealing the mystery and fullness of the God. Eucharist is a huge part of this where what we eat/know “merges” with us along with communion in the body of Christ as the nature of being itself (made sense to me from a “fractal network/systems view”, fwiw, this channel called telosbound has some excellent videos too on the ontological process/missteps which you might have similarly experienced from self relational eastern or esoteric practices which am convinced predisposes one towards “nihilistic void”).
Glad you picked up Fr Paisos who has lots of excellent material! (Have unfortunately not managed to get down to his writings proper yet, just bits and pieces here and there haha (would love to go to Mt athos as well, unfortunately women aren’t allowed). • @Abayarde718
      @Abayarde718 ปีที่แล้ว +1

@Marco Keep following that curiosity. Just some info you may find interesting: "In the past decade, scientists have confirmed that the Y chromosome (passed down through males) does not recombine or change through generations. Thus, a Y chromosome of a man today would be the same as his paternal ancestors’ 6,000 years ago. The genetic inheritance of sin nature from fathers is why God ordained that the Messiah would come through “the seed of the woman.” The prophesied Savior would have a human mother but God as His father. Therefore, the corrupted spiritual nature inherited (trauma and habits leave epigenetic markers on genes) from Adam would not pass on to Him. Yeshua-Jesus Christ did not bear the corrupted flesh all other people in human history possess. He was not begotten of Adam. He was the “only begotten” Son of God - His spiritual nature was wholly divine. Suddenly, the term “only begotten” in John 3:16 takes on much greater meaning." - Ryan Pitterson, Judgment of the Nephilim
Scientists now know that personal experiences like TRAUMA and HABITS pass down from one generation to another. This amazing fact is what our Father in heaven knew and partly why he sent the 2nd Adam to redeem the fallen human race. Because ever since we felt the shame of dishonoring God, Adam has passed on through his Y chromosome via epigenetics, the curse of sin and death. Our bodies will be redeemed, but only if we accept the one by whom it will he done - Yeshua-Jesus The Messiah prophesied to be born, live and die under 365 testified and verified circumstances.
God has mercy and, knowing that we all sin (lie, cheat, steal, lust, etc.) on this fallen earth, he sent a savior for us all to accept and love. Yeshua is the only way out of this fallen, satanic illuminati run world.
“For the man is not of the woman: but the woman of the man…. For as the woman is of the man, even so is the man also by the woman; but all things of God.” (1 Corinthians 11:8; 12)
The Book of Jasher, Enoch and Genesis make it clear that GENETIC experiments were being done on all the people and animals. Ever heard of fallen angels? They mated with women and created giants, hybrid creatures that reigned as kings and queens and were later dispatched by the Tribes of Israel. Noah was a drunk, but perfect in his GENERATIONS - genes. He was a pure human. God drowned unsanctioned monsters and creations who were committing evil, eating all the toil of men and ruining God's source code. Peace.
      🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

@Darren what do you say about people having NDE experiences which are sometimes similar to DMT ones and answers in Heaven being contradictory to what Christians believe...for example according to a lot of these folks reincarnation is possible and it doesnt matter which religion you follow as long as you love other people...and no t everyone meets Jesus in this brief after life situation..some meet other religious figures and dieties...some people might say that those are demonic experiences but I dont really believe that those visions and encounters come from Satan because everything that is being communicated there is based on love and it resonates as truth. I also realised that a lot of people who were never religious, and were even sinful(according to Christianity) still ended up in Heaven in their NDE.

I've had very similar experiences with psychedelics, including a good bit of DMT. I've also been led to Christ and am part of a non-denominational Christian church. Actually my ET friends I met on psychedelics pushed me towards Jesus. Whenever I strayed away from my Pastor or the Christian path because of me not liking their condemnation of non-believers and all of the other things I'm sure you know of that are disheartening... my life became turbulent. I have no choice but to walk this Christian path. I try hard to pay attention during our 90 minute Monday night Bible study but I can honestly say I am not learning anything I didn't already know. I've been a moral and righteous man long before re-reading the Bible as an adult. I've come to the conclusion that perhaps one day I'll have a more spiritual connection with Christ but at least for now I know I am supposed to be with these Chrsitian people to help out my small town when SHTF.
