I have had no problem transplanting cucumber and sunflowers into my garden - -usually this prevents the rolly pollies from eating them (not always, but it works most of the time if they've got a couple true leaves)
@@thepolishpotager oh yes, the rolly pollies are my worst garden pest (besides squash vine borer). They devour a lot of what I direct sow. I'm even going to transplant peas this spring because they usually eat 75% of my pea seedlings if I don't protect them with Diatomaceous earth.
How do your kids eat the banana peppers? Raw or do you have to pickle them? My 6yo looooves banana peppers on her pizza and subs but wouldnt eat them when I planted them 😂 which of COURSE
@@emilycantstopreading LOL. Of course!! My kids eat them raw but my hubby likes them pickled as well - so I harvest them fresh for eating and throw extras in the freezer and then can whatever is left at the end of the season.
I admire your dedication to so many varieties.
Thanks! It is part of the fun for me - testing them out and seeing which varieties do best for my area and for my family.

That is good to hear! I am really hoping this helps me make better use of my seeds and I don't have to reseed over and over!
