I just love that the researchers aren’t even taking notes after things get going. They’re cheering, excited and crying for the love these stuffed animals have for their owners.

The fact that both entities stop when the child begins to wake up makes it feel like this is a duty from both parties rather than just a Teddy Bear defending the child. I don’t know though.
Possibly so that their parents wouldn't come and attack the 6330-2.

SCP-6330-2 instances seems to be afraid of adult Humans. One instance nearly made off with a boy from portland after ripping his Orca protector to shreds, and had it not been for a passerby accidentally scaring it off, who knows what would have happened to the child.

I've never cried watching one of these but this is so sweet it actually hurts, such a giving scp who risk there lives for the children , it reminds me of my first teddy bear when I used to have nightmares my dad would give me it and say it would fight off those nasty monster in my dreams.
I always slept wonderfully until he got torn apart. Man this hits home
the only time i cried when watching these scp videos was the dragons scp- i dont remember the number but it was called "where the dragons went".
Have you actually found that teddy bear you used to sleep with it might be gone. It might be in the hands of another child still doing its duty. For the honor!
Honestly if you lost it that's sad but it got torn so that could indicate that it fought a battle for you potentially one and you know that's what these things are doing they're just protecting people kind of like the alpha nightmare except definitely in the weird world

He got damaged after a fight with my lil sister but there was no saving him.
I still remember the old smell that came off him, he literally smelled like my spaghettios and chocolate since sometimes I snuck food and slept on him....

The fact that this affects only most teddy bears, but can still be active on different ones makes me think the Yoda and Mario plushes I had as a kid were jumping on and lightsaber duelling literal nightmares.

I see these Sleepwalkers as the fears overcoming the child. The Teddy Bear works as some form of coping mechanism and tool to develop his cognitive capabilities, as their personality as well. Children that grow up playing with toys develop a higher cognitive capability than those who never played with toys, so the battle between the Bear and the Sleepwalker represents the step forward to maturing. Depending on how well the kid took care of their bear, it will have, or not, the strength to fend off the monster. If the Bear lose the battle, the Sleepwalker will feed on the kids sanity, leaving them with fears and insecurities. Thats my take at least.

That teddy bear is a legend, he literally protects children. And when I heard that note.. tears were falling down my eyes, it's hard not to cry to that 😢
I like how each teddy bear has a different personality. One wanted to hide as much evidence as possible, the other blew the brains of the monster against the wall then wrote a note for its child.
I'm more so curious about what happens when the Teddy Bear loses, since that is reportedly a thing that can happen and a legitimate fear for the foundation staff. Surely the child is attacked, yeah?
I assume that’s where cases of children disappearing in the night comes in.
i think if the monster wins the child would get sick with a terminal sickness to the lungs
@carrots with internet connection well 6330-2's blood was left behind that was made out of hemoglobin and water that had a viscous nature......when I was a kid 5-6 years old I had a spot on my lungs made of water.....hemoglobins are found in the red cells of human blood,basically the monster would make itself a jelly form and since usually when you are kid you sleep with your mouth open scp 6330-2 would get into your mouth transform into a jelly form and go down your throat.......
In fewer words kids are more sensitive to mold than adults and if you live in a damp area that's not good at all for anyone especially a kid......and this scp 6330-2 for some reason due to it's green color reminded me of mold thus my thought process had come up with that conclusion

If you read the actual document on the SCP website, there was an incident where a child was reportedly abducted by 6330-2 when his stuffed toy orca had lost the fight (although he was dropped when a passerby saw the abduction taking place). Further interviews with the child later also revealed that 6330-2 ate his socks, with a link to the SCP-3887 document.
This heavily suggests that SCP 6330-2 is in fact the same race (the Boogeyman) as SCP-3887, who feed primarily on socks and human fear. Neither the 6330 nor 3887 document makes any mention of a "jelly/mold transformation that crawls into children's mouths".

Unlike most SCP's that are rather cliche and aim to get you through horror, this is one that actually gets your attention. I think many of us have this thing in our brain where we wonder if any of the stuffed plushies we have in the house could move when not watched. I mean you know they don't, but something keeps telling you "what if I caught it happen one night in the dark".
If you had a furbie it was true though. So maybe SCP 6330?
@Assassinater Wolf Mine did the same thing,my long time stuffed animal that i've had since I was 3 years old would always end up on the floor almost completely under my bed.Almost like he was protecting me from the scary things under there,I still have him to this day.

This makes me wonder if anyone has tried fixing one of the bears, say, sewing it back together with same colored sewing yarn (or whatever they use to sew) and use it again
No point fixing a corpse. But it might make sense to provide teddy bears with all the armor and weapons they're going to need to prevent dying.
And safety pins for quick fixes and a sewing kit for aftercare.

I... have a theory. Maybe it's wholesome, maybe it's sad.
It's not "multiple teddy bears", but instead it's like multiple copies of a singular entity that simply wants to protect a child's innocence from the darkness. It's why the Foundation like them so much. The Teddy Bears die in the dark to protect the "light" of the children's innocence. And it's been doing it over and over, so that those children will one day grow up to protect others. Maybe even the Foundation members themselves have had teddy bears like them.

One thing still a mystery. Why the SCP-6330 “Sleepwalker Event” avoid being seen or stop fighting in the presence of Human?
SCP-6330-2 seems like large dangerous predatory creatures yet they’re afraid of being seen.
It’s like both the “Teddies” and SCP-6330-2 agree to stop fighting until no awake Humans are present.
They probably can’t hurt the child if they’re awake

@@yingames275 It seems to have different attack manners like it can turn into dragons or orcs and seems to have similar attack mechanism. So I think that's why they both agreed to stop fighting.

Interesting, interesting, very interesting, the teddy bear seems to have the same unique motivations as the toys off of the cartoon toy story. More importantly I don't think it's a multitude of them I think it might be some type of guardian spirit that jumps from bear to bear. It might take on the persona of the bear due to all of the memories and then the emotional attachment that's within the bear, however it's ability to adapt and produce multiple weapons lets you know that this is got to be something spiritual. Interesting thing is if it is a ghost it lands within the realm of a quicksilver ghost. To those of you who don't know where the Quicksilver is is a type of ghost or spirit that is the opposite of a poltergeist instead of trying to harm you it helps in every way possible. The only downside is prolonged exposure to a quicksilver for a healthy living human being could cause adverse side effects such as sicknesses cancers and various other things they're very presence lowers the resistance of the human body's ability to fight diseases. Which is very unfortunate considering how helpful they are. But as for the bear as an imperial guardsman would say, Glory to the first man to die, CHARGE!!!

That’s adorable. I would be so incredibly safe because my bed is covered in stuffed animals. My favorites by far are Baby Mama, my childhood teddy bear, and Peanut, an elephant with a nice texture.

I genuinely started giggling when the teddy bear held up a friggin handgun from behind his back and shot the monster lol
Honestly i think i know why this bear was using a gear of medieval weapon then randomly change to a handgun he grabs weapon from thin air so meaning he can grab anything he needs out of thin air for example he needs to deal some real good damage to scp-6330-2 it can just pull out a wooden shotgun out of thin air
