The reason people dislike armor in cw but not in bo6 is because you have to run to the dummy multiple times per round and waste salvage, while in bo6 everyone drops plates not just elites. Also bo6 is way harder so armor is appreciated.
I've always tried to keep it real on both sides. Does BO3 have glaring issues that alot of people refuse to acknowledge? Yes. Is it still one of if not the best zombies of all time? Yes. Does BO6 have flaws? Of course. Can it still go down as one of if not the best zombies of all time? Of course. I feel like another huge problem in the community is that we change our opinions on games to suit our takes. People bashed BO4 but now that they dont want to like BO6 theyre singing that games praise. Everyone loves BO3 but in an attempt to defend BO6, they now try to act like BO3 wasn't great.
They must make a Tranzit remake to Bo6. The new movement mechanics and the jetgun will perfectly fit the map and finally show us the real potential of tranzit
Just imagine if Black Ops 6 also come with community support for workshop/mods like black ops 3 did, with the new engine it will push the game even further
W take man, I agree it’s easy to look back and appreciate something that’s past. Nostalgia plays a huge part in how we view things. Looking back bo3 just looked and felt different from new zombies, Easter egg steps visual effects and guns from todays zombies. it’s evolved and but I think it appeals to a much larger crowd even the OGs from past titles.
Stop cock sucking a game that has excessively nerfed several weapons not even a month after release. NERFING HAS NO PLACE IN ZOMBIES. Also can you please stop cock sucking a company that doesn’t give a shit about it’s community or its own developers
Yeah, unfortunately the BO3 purists can be a bit insufferable at times. But man the EE’s making actual logical sense and not being inane stupidity and having more gameplay options leads to so much more replay ability in the new games, especially now that Bo6 has its own crew to add to the story. Looking forward to rest of bo6 while appreciating the past
It isnt rose tinted glasses and nostalgia when we literally never stopped playing And if you dislike cold war mechanics black ops 6 just isnt for you And im firmly in that camp
I fully disagree. I'm not a super big fan of cold war mechanics but I love bo6. Because the way those "cold war" mechanics actually work within this game is actually pretty different. So if you didn't like cold war. You can totally love this game. Because it's not just a "CW2"
@@no_name_here9007 dude I stopped playing zombies for a long time and then got back into it with Cold War and I loved it so much then I went back and played every map I get why people don’t fck with new zombies but I love it. Bo6 is the most fun I’ve had on a game besides borderlands which is probably my favorite game
@ btw man I been watching your vids for a couple months now I just recognized your name keep dropping bangers bru👍”cut the crap” was a real ass video dude.
The addition of zombies chronicles, and mod tools is what objectively made bo3 the best zombies game, something we sadly won’t see in bo6 so at most the game could be a close 3rd or 2nd to Bo3
WaW modded is better 🤷🏻♀️ just cuz bo3 has modded zombies doesn’t mean anything cuz majority of players still play on console so they don’t even experience it. if bo3 didn’t release chronicles it would be a mid game..
@ we’re talking about zombies bud and majority players play solo. just cuz chronicles saved this game don’t mean you gotta be butt hurt about it. y’all should be happy black ops 6 has this much hype around it it’s actually a good game best game since black ops 4 really
@OffaBlunt 1. Is there some evidence that most people play it solo 2. What are you yapping about I'm just saying it takes me 10 minutes to get a match in zombie pubs on the week days (on PlayStation, from the few times I played on Xbox it wasn't much better)
As someone who really only played up to bo2 zombies and have gotten into all the other titles including bo3 as of the past 4 years, I can objectively say that I am not wearing rose tinted glasses when I say that bo3 will body bo6 by the end of the life cycle. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed bo6 and the prestige and camo grind but what zombies games don’t have that bo2 and bo3 had is its individuality. Bo6 is definitely a step up from cw when it comes to that front but it just doesn’t feel like entirely different experiences when I hop between liberty falls and terminus.
I mean if they cook with the maps then I think it could. Kevin Drew has a pretty good track record. For me, bo3 maps just aren’t as good as people say they are. SoE has a fun setup but an underwhelming EE and it can only be done solo, it’s a solid Low A-tier or high B-Tier. DE and ZnS are easily S-Tier maps. GK is overrated, I just don’t enjoy playing it at all, C-Tier. Revelations has absolutely zero originality and it’s also just not fun to play, D-Tier. As for bo6 maps, I find that I enjoy them more, Terminus is a high A-Tier (maybe low S) and LB is a solid B-Tier. If they keep this up, it will certainly dethrone bo3, for me at least.
@ idk man for me personally I love bo2 the most. Every map except for Tranzit and Nuketown (and obviously the survival maps) or top 10 for me. But I think bo3 just has the most to offer and I agree with most of your takes on it but I can appreciate that each map I play on there it feels like completely separate experiences. The newer cod zombies I just kinda feel like it plays the same even with some different gameplay mechanics
@ honestly, I don’t like bo2 that much. The victus maps are bad or decent and MOTD is kinda overrated. I love its setup but its EE is really bad and can only be done solo. As for origins, I can sit here and gush about why I love origins all day. It’s my favorite map of all time and it really isn’t close
@@Amarok-7 dude, zombies was always easy. it's just that most people aren't into zombies, that's why most people aren't very good. but zombies was always a casual mode, created for people who wanna turn off their brain and just shoot zombies
I personally think these games can't really be compared because they play pretty differently, i personally like the old zombies gameplay more, so for me BO3 will still be the better game
One really underrated aspect about modern cod zombies that people don't really talk about is that all these updates and new maps are free, I feel like that should be taken into consideration
Why it will never be as good as previous zombies. 1. Aesthetic and style is just no where near as good, every map used to feel distinct and different with unique music sometimes characters and different locations. A 1950s city, a abandoned nazi theatre and a blown up planet are far more interesting starter maps than a standard american town with some blood and rubble. The huds used go also be unique mob of the dead, buried and origins all had different huds and that addes to the aesthetic. 2. Zombies uses to evolve, it would see whats good such as mystery box and perks and improve e.g. adding new perks and wonder weapons, now we get features like tac sprint and armour plates witch id say sour the survivel aspect of zombies, you get another 3 hits from an item that can be bought at a bench or picked up from a zombie drop and your not set to a fixed speed anymore and still have the option to get stamin up. 3. The newer cods honestly feel like the same game, i feel no difference between these recent games it just feels like cw2. 4. No set cast as your playable characters, operators have no place in zombies it was was bad in cw and its bad now. 5. Spawning in with a different weapon to a standard pistol, another thing to completely kill the survival, what is the point in giving an option if the old option is simply worse no one wants a disadvantage. 6. Weapon raritys shouldnt be in the game either and pack a punch shouldnt be a 3 pack system, they done took the knuckles crack animation away. 7. Too many reused enemys, we dont need the mangler, parasites, mimics and margwa dog in the same map, you wouldnt see denizens on origins or brutus on zetsubo. But what do i know ive been playing zombies my whole life but i should just "go play the old games" or "just dont play it". People always complain at the beggining of cod and you probably shouldnt trust them because people didnt even like shadows of evil at first but this game just isnt it for a old fan like me and thats fine but ive seen nothing but praise for a game i cant stand and people with similer opinions have been completely grilled because they dont like it. (Edit) and its not that i dont want cod zombies to be as good as black ops 3 or better but i just feel like it simply isnt and zombies hasnt even been terrible since bo3, zombies in spaceland is a top5 map imo but the bar for zombies is so high i dont see how this could ever be as good or even top it, waiting for 4 years for this is dissapointing.
i’m not trying to devalue ur opinion, my intent is to only bring up counterpoints to ur argument. 1. LF while it doesn’t keep that same atmosphere as the older maps for sure it still isn’t a bad map, imo it kinda gives off L4D2 vibes n i think that’s pretty cool, it also makes sense because it’s recently after the outbreak, so it the town shouldn’t be in crazy ruins or anything like that. I’ll agree with the hud not feeling unique at all, but i have hope that they might update it or allow it to be more customizable. 2 zombies continues to evolve, both maps in BO6 have cool wonder weapons, although yea one is just a remaster it was also reworked to be much better than the original. The mystery box evolved too, the rarity system gives you that incentive to hit the box because it’s very likely you’ll be getting a higher rarity weapon which ends up dealing more damage than ur starting weapon anyway. Adding new perks in the older games was cool sure, but it didn’t really matter because people would still stick to the same 4 perks making the new ones practically useless unless you just wanted to see what it did in game, and they tried fixing that in BO4 but it didn’t really work out, perks in BO6 imo are really nice, and without a perk limit i finally see myself using other perks that aren’t essential to survival, like the new MM perk, if this perk was on the older games i could never see myself buying that perk. 3 fair 4 Terminus has a set cast and they interact with each other too, i would hear some of the interactions between character while completing the easter egg too, while ill admit these characters don’t have the same kind of chemistry as the old crew it’s still a nice thing to have, i think with time these characters have a chance to be iconic in their own right 5 the load out weapon falls off pretty quickly now compared to CW and since the wall weapons n box weapons are often a higher rarity then what you spawn with so there’s a reason to buy them so you aren’t at a disadvantage in the later rounds 6 the rarity system helps balance out spawning in with a custom loadout 7 that’s a fair thing to say but imo i also think it’s cool having different zombie archetypes now, while i think each map should still have a specific special zombie i don’t mind having other type of zombies mixed in the horde, like vermin, parasites and even manglers even tho they can be annoying or seem lazy.
@toasty-boi9929 i appreciate you having a normal discussion on it and not flipping out like others, i see your points aswell and mostly i think it does just come down to personal preference people will like it for the reasons you stated. I do agree that its similer to l4d2 where as u visit american locations like a simple town, liberty falls aesthetic nails it in that way it feels how it should but then zombies has always been about these crazy locations like a ww1 battlefield, the moon and the goat alcatraz i just feel kinda let down because its basic to what weve had, its not so much that it doesnt have atmosphere but that the atmosphere feels generic. I believe l4d2 does a better job at it but the variant zombies help that game alot with it. Yeah it does make sense that it isnt crazy because its just after the outbreak thats an oversight on my part tbh. 2. Regarding perks i think thry tried to fix something that wasnt broken, perks like jug were ove used but i think they was on the right track with perma perks and gobblegums like the perk drop but then they did a 180 in bo4 and just messed it up worse, this game does a good job at a middle ground id say so i agree but then the raritys give me less of a incesentive to hit the box, earlier the box moved after 3 hits so i just bought wall weapons witch i can upgrade the rarity on anyway and they automatically upscale as the rounds go up it just feels slapped on, i think double tap and normal pack a punch could fix this again its just something i think was fixed but wasnt broken to begin with. Another thing wonder weapons shouldnt be able to equip skins ik its only the raygun rn but i dont that belongs its a wonder weapon, the jetgun coming back isnt bad id say its great that they fixed it because the original was just a worse paralyzer. Removing the perk limit should of been what they did in bo4 is just mindboggling that it wasnt what happened. 4. I have less time in terminus so i havent really got a full opinion on it but ik ive heard someone say that they are all a different flavour of watered down dempsey. I just prefer a set cast i love five motd and cotd the casts are amazing and the eather crew and even chaos, hell i even like the aw zombies crew. 5. Its not so much that it doesnt belong, customizing weapons is fine but spawning in with like an ar isnt right, i think its just so people can spawn in do a camo challenge then evac, but its not really a big issue with the game compared to some other things. To add on to 6 the rarity system does fix the loadout issue i do agree. 7. Its like how i think it evovled in the wrong way, on one hand yeah they put dogs in the a lot of maps because it was experimented on by richtofin it makes sense lore wise and gives the player a breather and some ammo every few rounds and it eventually become a main stay mechanic with variants like parasites but on the other hand manglers are big russian war machines similer to a panzer and they are just randomely put into a american town its also a issue with how many spawn in, it would make sense if the map was in russia and they was aware of it in older games. The panzer was in origins as the miner panzer and in de as a different variant so they was only in german locations ( revelations being an exeption) so its cool having different archetypes but they need to be unique to the map so i ties into aesthetic and atmospshere. (Edit) also the hud plays into atmosphere and people like to fling warzonification around n i dont like that but i think that goes into Raritys, mounting/vaulting over fences exetra, tac sprint, killstreaks, sub menues ( like the 3 options for packapunch), salvage, armour plates and the overall just samey feeling treyarch used to be distinguishable from iw games but now the games since mw2019 have felt the same and looked the same, they have pushed a cod launcher with all of these games. And i have alot more to say on the game but i get so sidetracked because theres just so much i dislike but it does do some thinga right its not downright awful but its not knocking my socks off any time soon
1. lf was a bonus made to appeal to newer players who want a simpler experience if u want to compare atmospheres look at the real maps like citadelle nd terminus 2. bo6 took systems from previous games and made it better and u cant tell me theres 0 innovations when augments exist which is prolly one of the best systems we got since pack a punch 3. bo6 is a sequel to cold war so obviously they gon borrow systems and mechanics like how they did w every other cod bo1-bo4 but bo6 has actually done it well and improved on them, gameplay also vastly different as zombie spawns zombie speeds hit time and armour were all reworked and rounds actually get more difficult past round 30 unlike in cold war where it only makes zombies sprint. Also look at terminus and any map on cold war and u see how much more effort has been put into it 4. terminus has a set cast and liberty falls didnt get one as its a bonus map ? even then liberty falls still has more content than any other bonus map and nothing making u use operators also dawg .. every other map gon have a set crew 5.understand the standard pistol shi but gameplay way different for bo6 and it js wouldnt work w the current point system 6. weapon rarities and tier 3 pack is better for progression since i dont see how packing once at round 8 then having a gun that can kill until round 30 is a good thing 7. there wasnt a problem when panzers were reused in de ? and the cycle of the game js started and its already confirmed citadelle has a new enemy type w elemental weapons and u forgetting about amalgams and vermin
@@opiumlover347 1. Nuketown in black ops 2 was a bonus map and the giant in bo3, you had to pay for them but they was maps for more casual play and they had great atmosphere, because its a bonus doesnt stop it from being judged equally. Terminus isnt all that special in my eyes but the new castle map looks promising. 2. Its not that there isnt innovation but that the innovation isnt good imo, armour plates and field upgrades take away from what was there, you can no longer get something like the dragon from gorod or build the ragnarok from de. There are 108 augments in the game, u put 2 on a perk one major one minor, e.g. shield builds are gone and now theres a augments for a back sheild on jug, its just a fix to a problem that wasnt there. Thats just one problem from it not to say augments are bad. 3. Id honestly say the same amount of effort, although tbf bo6 is a tad bit better i acc cant stand cold wars maps especially every map after die machine. Its not about borrowing its about seing what makes the mode great lime dogs and wall buys and improving on it, they havent listened at all to people complaining about armour n stuff, theres still benches with killstreaks and grenades and what not. 4. E.g. five a map made from campaign assets gave us one of the greatest set casts while being the secondary map, id also imagine thered be more content they had 4 years and the games practically the same as cold war and the others they literally have to do less n less every release recently. They bit more off then they coukd chew with bo2 and made too many small maps and modes so thats the only time outside waw they had a cast that wasnt celebrity or story, even then cia and the hazmats guys are still unique. Good that every map will have set casts. 5. Its just another thing that was fixed when it wasnt broken we need the okd point system and standard starting pistols back. 6. Its taken away the strategy, if you pack a punch on a early round the only way your going to get ammo is a max ammo, say i went on tranzit with using the bank, ive got no money for perks now because ive decided to pack a punch on round 8, now i have no money to open doors, no money to buy perks and ive run out of ammo in my gun and the only solution is to fork out 4500 for ammo from the wall gun ( if it is a wall gun) or wait for a max ammo in witch case i need to deal with avagadro. Do i buy a b23r off the bus and trade out the weapon thats packed or trade my other weapon witch is possibly something great like a mark 2 ray gun. Its also pointless in bo1 cuz evwry gun is pretty much ass and the only saving grace is wonder weapons ( not looking at u winter howl ) 7. The panzer was reused in revelations for the sake of cramming all the maps together and revelations has had its discussion a long time ago, the panzer in De made sense due to the lore, my memorys foggy on it but that panzer is a different model im not sure witch one it its but the origins panzer is the one designed for digging im pretty sure, so its still kind of cheap but it has its reasons.
Black Ops 3 is elite, but Black Ops 6 they basically gave us everything we wanted at launch for a zombies experience. It’ll be interesting to see how these games are compared in 5 years time
@camwow935 you know i hated arrmor before bo6 lunches but after trying how easily zombies hit you there is no way you will survive without it And tarmnuis is such a great map waaay better then i though
The only thing that makes bo6 better so far is the progression and the fact that there’s two fully realized maps at launch and DLC 1 a month and a half from launch
@ liberty falls wasn’t halfassed tho they are fully realized maps with multiple side quests and a main quest, you do not dictate what’s half baked because it would go against your definition of half baked, also all those bo4 maps jumbled messes that were broken for quite a bit of time after launch
@@greendoom1787hold 3 gums at the same time & use them all at the same time. Bo3 gums system were better because u can save gums if u close your game before you die.
This is exactly what 6 years with no cod zombies does to the community. It lowers our standards so drastically to the point where when we finally get a somewhat good game we think it’s the greatest thing ever when it really isn’t😭
I will agree bo6 has started actually even stronger than bo3. However I find it hard to believe that it will be better than BO3. Not because I dont want it to, but because I think BO3 was lightning in a bottle. First of all half of the maps in the game are considered top 5 maps by the vast majority of the community. Its not likely that can be out done. Secondly Chronicles was definitely the thing that pushed bo3 being the definitive zombies experience in so many players eyes. You talk about similar happening in this video but its worth noting that if they do go down this route, it'll likely be apart of black ops 7 (which will be treat as a full fledged new game by activision and therefore the player base). Thirdly, on top of all that you have mod tools and I simply dont think its likely were gonna get any sort of custom map making tools in bo6. Saying that it is posssible that it may surpass games like waw black ops 2, 4 and Infinite warfare. Infact with this strong launch it may be well on its way to becoming a top 3 cod zombies mode.
i feel like bo3 bo2 and bo1 had more heart like the characters were more interesting but the new one's lake that also the maps look identical to multiplayer
During Bo3 I was on Xbox, I was a massive zombies fan. Due to DLC deal with PlayStation I don’t think I ever played Zetsubou during B03 lifecycle. I watched all the content when it released and decided it wasn’t for me. Then when gorod krovi came out (in August on Xbox) it was the middle of summer the hype was already gone there was better things to do new games to play. Looking back now I honestly don’t think I played zombies from January till October when revelations came out. When I think of bo3 I remember completing all the Easter eggs. What I always forget is I only did that during lock down, 4 years after the game came out. Obviously people may of had a different experience to me but that DLC agreement with Sony absolutely killed zombies for everyone not on PlayStation. My friends and I all loved zombies. All think BO3 is untouchable but I don’t think we ever played zombies as much as we are now. Even though we have a lot more responsibilities now.
I agree with you. BO6 just needs maps with fantastical atmosphere and heaps more creativity. Hopefully the DLC can deliver because the maps are incredibly lacklustre right now.
Just as some minor input from someone who has been around and tried every installment of zombies since WaW but is definitely more casual than others i just love how many little easter eggs there are in maps like Liberty Falls and Terminus and i hope they keep that going forward. I adored WaW and Black Ops. WaW will forever be my most favourite CoD. But sometimes it is nice to have little things to do that arent purely train, easter egg, song, done. Sorry for wall of text. I love zombies, i love talking about and learning about it with people and I want the best for all of us fans going forward.
@MZC3 I appreciate it and thanks for your response! I found your channel over the weekend and absolutely loved your video on the dark ops challenges and what to use prestige tokens on. Wishing you all the success for your channel :)
If BO6 launches more maps as Terminus, I'm all for it, the Terminus Easter Egg is the funnest I've had with a zombies map than any other zombies map to date, BO6 Definetly has potential like you said, but not everything is gonna be perfect, BO3 has it's fair share of flaws as well, from it's maps launches, precautions to run it on PC, etc.
Bo3 is such a total package that if bo6 doesn’t have at least 6 maps or chronicles 2 I’ll be disappointed. Crazy to think they’re almost a decade apart….
The difference is bo3 was rock solid slightly after release and there is not a single bad map included they are all pretty amazing even the worse ones.
I don't think it's so much people are accepting the charges like the armor and rarity systems so much as that they just accepted the fact that the developers don't care and aren't going to change it so why keep talking about it.
Stop saying the developers don’t care. They care and want to make the best experience ever! It’s literal proof from what we have so far. It’s not the devs decision with the armor and rarity. That comes from activision. Activision forces it to be closer to Warzone to appeal to those players too. STOP blaming developers!
@@DarkworldLP absolutely. There are flaws for sure. But blaming people that have NO Control and calling them lazy and being rude to them does nothing. In fact it’s unwarranted. I worked retail during covid and people would scream at me for implementing masks as if I had any control. Don’t be rude to someone who has no control over your complaint
Im one of the many people who looked at Bo6 and immediately disliked what they were giving us. I will admit i believe so far i judged the game too soon before i played it. If you look deep into things, yes, as it stands, bo6 zombies are the potential king of zombies. We have loved returning systems and decent new systems, and we have more reasons than any other cod to grind out zombies because of camos and shared level progression. IF and big IF they continue to give us great maps throughout its lifespan, this can be the best zombies cod. However, Treyarch isn't dumb, i guarantee that 2025s cod will give us everything we love because they want to combat the hype of gta 6, hence the leak of primis returning
Great video brother, almost 100% agree with you. Only thing I don't is with the criticism to the changes that have just "faded away" - imo it's less about people just letting it go and it's more about 3arch actually surprising us with how well they have revamped and rebalanced those changes to remove alot of the issues from a game like cold war. Only thing I'm still not loving in bo6 is the mangler spam but I totally see the potential for this game to become the best.
Appreciate the respectful reply bro!! I feel you tho that the revamped changes have persuaded some people! Mangler spam is definitely egregious but it was nice for my nebula grind hahah
BO6 zombies is very fun, but it is a little overcomplicated, but I'm new to it I guess and will probably like it eventually, but those zombies are something else like just let me enjoy shooting zombies lmfao
@@MirageUchiha aint going to lie call me a pussy but the mustang and sally annihilate amalgams and nathan, killed them in like 4 shots and nathan only took a few clips lol.
Idk I played both maps once and have no desire to play them again. It just feels like more cold war zombies which just felt soulless to me I don’t care about the characters or story and the gameplay doesn’t feel like zombies it feels like some shitty xdefiant type of game trying to copy zombies and doing a bad job. Maybe I just got older and zombies isn’t for me anymore.
Fair take man I appreciate your respectfulness when leaving your opinion!! This is just a place for discussion there’s obviously no right or wrongs either way!
people never talk about how mediocre chronicles actually is, the entire reason every single map in the chronicles pack was so good in the first place was the perfectly balanced high round gameplay and bo3 completely ruins it
I disagree, i think high rounds were unreasonably difficult back in the old days, gobblegums add a more fun way to play. You can still do no gums but its an option to use that especially with how fun it is with gums.
I enjoyed this sort of laid-back discussion style video, and I hope you do more in the future. However, I think it's a massive jump in conclusions to say that "We'll never get a Black Ops 3 again" = "I don't want zombies to ever be successful again" When people say stuff like this, it should be seen in a positive light, black ops 3 was a blessing, and it is more than validated in having that revered untouchable status. I've been having so much fun with black ops 6, but it's clearly not as much of a jump as BO2 vs BO3. Everyone was a fish out of water for awhile, and that's not happened with this game imo. Treyarch stuck to their guns on Cold War's design, likely because it was so much of a success. But it's shared DNA is holding the game back, as we've all already played this game 4 years ago. I am going to stick around for this game's life cycle, I'm going to try and stay optimistic, the fact that we haven't had round based in so long is definitely helping. But I have to conclude that this take is copium, solely based on how BO3's aged, it's many, many, many, many improvements on the zombies formula, map and enemy variety uniqueness, characters, Legendary WW's, progression system, weapon kits, gumballs, Zombies Chronicles, casual AND hardcore launch maps, mod support, Easter Eggs, progression systems, worthwhile super EE, map exclusive shields and specialists, Theater mode, offline solo, community events. And I could just keep meat-riding this game till the sun don't shine, it really was that good. And I can understand how fans who haven't played the game can find the constant meat-riding annoying or repetitive, sort of ironically demonizing the game in the community, and that has backfired into the game being looked at even more fondly because of things like nostalgia and rose tinted glasses. Ultimately, Black Ops 3 is like the Halo 3 of the zombies community, a miracle product of it's time, with the largest net improvement in design, story and gameplay systems across the board.
@MZC, This is a little off topic, but I have a concern with BO6. Whenever you create your zombie build and put a camo on it. Unless you start out with that weapon, you don't get to see your camo on any of the guns that you buy off the wall or in the mystery box. I feel like we should be trying to get in contact with Treyarch about this.
I truly feel one thing that is missing in current zombies is the pack a punch animation as stupid as it sounds man I love that no hud knuckle crack it just made you feel like you were about to crack down with some power!
I remember everyone including me hated Bo3 when it first came out. Ultimately it became one of my favorites. I do agree that something very similar is happening with Bo6.
I see your points. The only things that really get me is the mangler spam. And ESPECIALLY the point system. The mangler spam is something they can fix. But theres no way there gonna revert to the old point system. I really hope they do it next game. Because I hate this point system so much.
I understand your points, bo6 was definitely over hated before release. There is potential for it to be top 5 zombies games, but there are too many glaring issues with the core mechanics, that it will most likely not beat bo3. Unless it adds Chronicals 2 or modding support, it will not be the best. Weapon rarity ruins all sense of progress, along with loadouts. The point system completely destroys weapon balance. what's the point in spinning for the box, when you can spawn in with any weapon you want, but the ww? What's the point in buying a wall weapon to get more points or if you run out of ammo, when there are ammo boxes, and when you only get points for kills? They have removed plenty of "aura" or "atmosphere" from zombies, and im not even talking about Liberty Balls. The removal of the PAP animation, the removal of some Jingles, the feelings of dread, unease or even wonder have all been heavily dampened. The Hud (even the classic version) is boring and feels taped onto the screen. As well the amount of different in game menus (wonderfizz, arsenal, crafting bench) take away from the immersive experience Killstreaks and exfil completely destroy a feeling of loneliness and desolation that the other games had Plating and warzone-like loot drops feels unnatural and immersion-breaking, but that is 100% personal bias On top of all of this, there is no custom maps (I highly doubt there will be), and bo3 has without a doubt the best line-up of maps to this day. There's a reason people still play bo3 today, Its a masterpiece of a game, only held back by a few decisions that activision forced onto them (i.e. paid gobblegums, season pass) Dont get me wrong I think bo6 is a big upgrade from cold war, and it is a really fun game, but saying it will surpass bo3 is just crazy talk. Also you said if there were no bad maps it will go down as the best, however Liberty balls is a bad map. Id equate it to tranzit, fun for a casual experience, but overall a very flawed map
Tbh for me what makes zombies… zombies to me is really the funness of it, plus just playing with friends, I wont lie when i say this, but i never enjoyed the whole building system on bo2 and bo3, but over time i loved it, but also loved the casual stuff, bo6 has both and thats what i’ve wanted for years, same with how the mwz mode was, its a great new experience on zombies and i thoroughly enjoyed it. I’ve always thought if an open world zombies being in cod, and my dream was somewhat made with mwz, the schematics, open world aspect with the dark aether experience was all so amazing, it was a nice experience until the content became dry :( Overall what makes zombies… zombies really is the memories we all build together as a community, the funness of the mode. People want change yet when they get it, its a huge deal, no one can be truly pleased, but hopefully they will be this year. I’m enjoying myself with the zombies this year! Sorry for the college essay lol
First off: PLEASE LISTEN TO BOSSMAN BEFORE COMMENTING Second: I don’t agree or disagree. I feel like it’s very difficult to compare the two games because there are so many differences (story, style, crafting, health, mechanics) etc and that’s not a bad thing. Third: I like BO3 and I like BO6 and YES that’s possible and YES that’s ok, purely for the reasons above; I like the differences and the pleasure of playing both for very different reasons. It is too easy to look at everything through your nostalgia prism and we’re all guilty of it, but taking an objective step back allows you to form a subjectively sound view of both games. Fourth and final: I think MZC might be onto something here… read the above and then come back to this final part please
BO6 is great but BO3 has custom Workshop support in which I personally think is why people go back to 3 because theres a ton of modders pushing the boundaries of the game
I've been playing zombies since WaW and I already like this more than Bo3. I loved Bo3, but it truly was too complex and was without other things to do. Bo6 has so much more to it, so many things to do in the maps, so many challenges to complete. These 2 new maps are packed with content. Even liberty falls has more side EEs than any map on bo3 by far. I also think the Terminus EE is more fun to play through than any bo3 EE as well. The boss fight is surely better than any of them on Bo3 too. If they keep this up, it WILL be the best zombies game we have gotten, story aside.
I feel like black ops 6 has potential to be better than black ops 3 the zombies for black ops 6 looks amazing for now so in the zombies department it looks like black ops 6 can compete with black ops 3
Bo6 is just as good as bo3 and I truly believe in its own way, it will be better than bo3. Forget the haters and this whole “this ain’t zombies” they aren’t real zombies fans. The reason zombies is the best game mode ever is because it’s always innovating while keeping nolstagic things
Bo6 still has some major gameplay flaws. I also dont like how most of the side ee just give you salvage. The points system is atrocious, i dont understand why we are okay with it. The zombie hud and interact icons can also still be zombiefied more
This video makes absolutely no sense. First of all I have no idea what your purpose was with the huge retrospective of what people thought of the game. Since when does year 1 and 2 community consensus make a game what it is? It’s 100% subjective. Referencing community dead periods and TH-cam comments means absolutely nothing to what someone thinks if they were to load up and do the Der Eisendrache Easter egg right now. Also referencing niche people that thought certain parts of bo3 was “too much” is not a valid point. Thats just you saying whatever their opinion is. There’s always been an old head community since verrucht came out who reference whatever their favorite game or map was and how zombies is just “too much now”. There’s a lot of reasons why this game is really fun and has a chance to be top 3 but will almost certainly not be BO3 in 10 years. The game is strictly meant to just be “fun” which it accomplishes really well. BO3 being much more difficult will always make it more rewarding because it’s much easier to get frustrated at the game so it makes it more rewarding to accomplish something difficult. This game could have a much more consistent dlc cycle but still be worse because the goal in this game and Cold War is for all players to just have “fun”. I don’t hate that concept either, it has its pros such as bringing more people to the game and honestly it feels so much easier to restart liberty falls than it does to restart shadows of evil. However that’s also a negative because it really is just always really fun but never the crazy peaks of difficult and emotions you get playing BO3. It’s a really fun game and I’ve played it a ton and will continue to play it a ton, but it has a ceiling and it’s dumb to compare it to some absolute masterpieces such as Der Eisendrache. Zombies has changed and is a fun much more acradey insane over the top mode now where you can slide across the whole map with PhD in 15 seconds or take 20 hits to down if you have the right augments. Once again, that isn’t a bad thing necessarily, it’s actually really fun but it does lower the ceiling.
The point of the retrospective is to place everyone back in time to what was actually being said within the community before coming to the conclusion that history is literally repeating itself here. Also I could argue black ops 3 is easier because any gun deals infinite damage with dead wire, turned and fireworks. I totally agree with your take on the evolution of zombies tho
I get that point of why you did the retrospective but I’m not sure what it means to the quality of the game for people down the line. Saying BO3 is easier is absurd. There are augments in this game that allow you to take an absolutely absurd amount of hits. You can literally alter every part of your game to make it easier with augments and such. It took people years and years to 255 most bo3 maps and round 150 couldn’t be done on most maps by a casual player outside of a few exceptions like revelations. There were literally people like Duke Dennis getting to round 50 before the game even coming out like it was nothing. I know people who are getting round 100 on both maps after patch on their first few attempts. Pack a punch abilities are not even comparable to a mutant injection god mode that can end a whole round or combining augments that allow you to take 15+ hits and still live. Setting up on this game doesn’t even hardly require me to think I’m just casually playing and doing a few small quests. When going back and getting round 100 on every BO3 map you will always take stupid downs that make you have to restart. That just doesn’t happen on this game because the game really is nothing like BO3. It’s just meant to be fun with a few moderately difficult Easter egg steps here and there which is what it accomplishes. Casual fun will never equal a masterpiece.
@@112Deniyyou have literally not played bo6 and it shows. You are references the cod next event which had difficulty tuned down, and is nothing like what the game is when it came out. You have now 100 percent outed yourself as someone who has not even played the game. I have. A lot. Bo3 is SOOOOOOOO much easier than bo6. I can hop on DE grab the fire bow, and a shotgun with blast furnace, and train on the death ray and get to round 50 without even coming close to going down. Try to do that in bo6? You get fucked the instant round 40 hits. You can’t train anymore. It’s not even possible. You have to rely on scorestreaks, and traps, and running for your life while 2 amalgams are grabbing you and 5 manglers all shoot you at the same time. Trying to train is literally impossible, and liberty falls is ONLY easy to get to high rounds because of the jet gun and sitting in a corner on the zipline. Terminus was easy too when you could have infinite scorestreaks but after they nerfed that I’m not even sure what the main strategy is anymore. Getting to round 100 on revelations or DE is so incredibly easy. It just takes significantly more time. But it’s infinitely easier than trying to play high rounds on terminus when you are out of salvage.
@ I will show you my stats. I have multiple days played on the mode. You actually proved yourself to not have played much BO3 by automatically referencing the worst bow and the worst after patch pap ability. Terminus round 200 difficultly (the much harder map) does not compare to most BO3 round 200s. It took people around 48 hours to get 200 on both of these maps and people now have tons of 500+ on both maps already. Most BO3 maps took over 1,000 days to get 255. Both of the Easter eggs are no where near a gorod Krovi or even a zns once you have augments. I did both of them in the first few days with no augments and did Liberty falls first try. I will give you credit that the game is hard to train after round 30. However BO4 isn’t particularly easy to train, but that game is EXTREMELY easy to high round due to things like the Helion salvo. This isn’t just a me thing. Ask any high round player from BO1-BO3 their opinion of the games difficult. They all have the same opinion. BO3 pap abilities or wonder weapons are absolutely nothing compared to a game where you can take 15 hits and not down or consistently get a godmode mangler that can end a whole round from 1-100 easily. The game is objectively more casual. It literally walks you through how to get pack a punch.
I don't think It will ever be better. I do have my bias, I have been playing zombies since WAW. There are things that initially pulled me in and that drastically changed since bo3 Gobblegums: I don't like them a whole lot, but I'm neutral on them. Pack up punch: you always have to do something to Open pack up punch since WAW it's not true that you don't have to do anything to just start killing zombies (ser eisen has an even more simple pack a punch, and I didn't like it at all). Aura or as I called style: jingles for perks have been disappearing for a while now, pack a punch is gone together with the animation, the feel of dread that has been disappearing since bo2, but bo3 compensated with story and mechanics like having to do a quest to get the specialist weapons ( I miss those so much). The warzonification of Zombies to pull multiplayer and warzone players and to get zombies players into warzone ( I still hear complains of the armor system from big TH-camrs, and I agree with them, the shield had more personality and had more aura. I can go on and on, but it would be too long. I just don't think they make games for the people who liked the old zombies style and they are trying to make zombies so that appeals to everyone (which in marketing it means you appeal to no one), and hope to retain your players with microtransactions and camo grinds that makes them invested in the game not because is fun but because people don't like the feeling of losing their time and/or investment (because it makes you feel like a fool) Making Activision lots of money.
All perk still have jingles from my awareness so not sure where that comes from. Pack a punch is a pretty minor change at the end of the day, if no knuckle cracking turns you away from zombies being good then there’s nothing devs could do to please you. I tend to agree with you on your points with armor though, I’m not a big fan and overall that system has led to increased movement speeds for yourself and zombies which also has led to the maps being more spacious which takes away from the feeling of having limited space to run around and train zombies. The overall aura so far isn’t that different from other zombies games. Terminus is about as dire as it gets with zombies. It has the same aura as zetsubo. Liberty falls is obviously a bit brighter but so is gorod krovi and gorod krovi was great. Liberty falls is meant to just be the grind map, with a mini Easter egg. We have no idea what the next maps are going to look like.
I don't think a remaster would work because of how different bo2 is from the new game, I think they should come out with a map that works well with the new mechanics because bo6 isn't like any games before it where as bo2, bo1, and b03 are generally similar in gameplay and mechanics.
I think it has the potential. I love it a lot but to me Bo3 is the holy grail of Zombies. But if they keep it consistent with everything then it’s going to be up there if not better
If they make a new game next year and release 6 more maps with primis that doesn’t make bo6 any better, next year is gonna be a completely different game not attached to bo6 and another $70
Black ops 3 will remain the best experience if BO6 or BO25 do not get mod support. Mod support really goes a long way in helping a game thrive and BO3 giving us access to those experience just puts it over for me.
Bo3 is the pinnacle of zombies with maps like der eischendrache(idk if i spelled it right) and chronicles but there are some maps that are just not for casuals "zetsubo no shima" and "revelations" but as i said when chronicles came out thats when it cemented itself as the pinnacle of zombies and i may not like bo6 much but i like to think bo6 zombies will possibly be either a good mode or a decent enough mode for when people think back fondly of if.
I’m gonna give my review before and after the video hopefully learning new things and a lot of points that either I passed through or didn’t acknowledge before, this is before watching the video. Personally in my opinion I prefer B03, this dosent mean I dont like B06, I still find B06 fun but for me the fun factor was from the challenge the came from the difficulty of the zombies, for example five, shadows of evil, gorod krovi, even der eisendrache, these maps were difficult because of the maps layout being very closed quarters and needing strategy and thinking “should i go here, should i do this, should I slide first or train first then go to the other room” but in B06 I dont find myself doing that, the 14-16 hit down removes that as I can either just waltz through or use my aether shroud or frenzied guard for invinciblity respectively making the game more difficult, another problem is the guns, a lot of people are mixed on this as they say you can’t kill on later rounds with bullet guns or people saying it should be like that from the start, personally from me, I wouldnt mind it not being able to kill on later rounds as on B03 2 and 1 we weren’t able to kill zombies with regular guns past round 40 45, but the problem in this game is the fact that I have to spend 50 k on triple pack and upgrade my rarity 4-5 times before my gun cant even kill past round 33, either have the guns be like B01 2 and 3 where it’s only 5 k, or keep the rarity and triple pack but make the guns more powerful, because of this I rarely see myself changing guns in B06 as spending that much salvage and money just for a gun that wont be lasting more then 3 rounds isn’t worth it, this is all before watching the video, I hope to learn new things and maybe change my prospective, and my opinion is all the cods from waw to even bo4 (only treyarch) are better then modern zombies
After watching the video I can confirm, you have indeed changed my mind about B06, I still remember the hate about B03 and soe with it being hated because of the fact that it didn’t lookalike zombies and the zombies weren’t zombies but more alien like, and zetsubo no shima was a rough time for B03, it took until revelations and zombie chronicles and when people were playing B03 again to say”zestubo isn’t that bad actually” and saying B06 is bad is a complete lie, it is not bad whatsoever, it is actually fun, fluid and very consistent. Although a problem I still have is the maps just feel like campaign missions but zombies in it, I wish they can improve on that and change it, other then that B06 is ok, obviously the rarity and armor exists but it dosent feel too op To the point that it dosent feel like zombies anymore, imo B04 was the best armies system, not too op, not too weak, just enough to save you, and you’re completely right, B06 basically just came out for zombies, theres only 2 maps and saying that B06 has any chance to compete with any cod is a stretch as not even B03 could do that, i would like to see a game, not like B03 but just the gameplay mechanics of it back in a future cod, such as a specialist behind a quest and maybe having either a shield or a quest for tier 2 and 3 armor instead of paying for it, and I think the only reason people are saying B03 better then B06 is because of the things, 1. They only remember the good things about B03, not how both soe and zetsubo were hated at launch, or how much of a disappointment revelations was as a ending map, just the good, in a couple of months of B06 lifespan hopefully more people come to the conclusion that B06 is indeed good, but completely agree with you with saying that as of now B03 is better then B06 but B06 DOES have the potential to be better, and B06 being better is not a bad thing at all, rather a good thing, idky people are so fixated on B03 being the best and never wanting a better game, and if there is a better game, they will say “no its not, it’s not good, B03 on top, never new game” for some reason, in conclusion, B06 is a very good game, not better then B03 YET, B06 has the potential to be better then B03 if they don’t produce a map below B tier as you said, and B06 will most likely change peoples minds in the up coming months
I love boss fights the most in zombies so Terminus ranks pretty highly compared to BO3. It's better than Revelations/Shadows (I hate how the shadow man is used twice so i'm a bit biased) and definitely better than Zetsubou. My personal ranking atm is Gorod Krovi > Der Eisendrache > Terminus > Shadows of Evil > Revelations > Zetsubou. This is ranked by bosses btw so put those pitchforks down, aesthetically it's Shadows > DE > Gorod > Terminus > Zetsubou > Rev for me. If they keep this up it'll definitely surpass BO3 for me, i'm a big fan!
I want to clarify I do think black ops 6 is a solid cod. But from a community standpoint I dont think anything will ever surpass black ops 3. And thats not just rose tinted glasses. We had a more soild and clear community back than. And a lot cool events that big TH-camrs hosted. Todays community feels less together compared to the past. People are trying I really like that! And I want things to be clear im not trying to be a doomer about it. But the hype feels kinda artificial. Because again its a great cod especially in recent years. But it feels like people are saying this is one of the greatest cods because we mostly had mediocre cods in recent times. And I know that no cod was ever perfect as it went along even BO3. And maybe I should give it time which im willing. But at this point maybe its just that such a different community of gamers got into this cod. That I just feel more isolated from it. But idk no hate just spewing my thoughts though nobody read this hahah...
tbh if you remove the ability for reimaginings to count towards a game then the launch of BO6 is 1 million times better than just being able to play SOE in BO3, SOE is one of my top maps now but I truly only had fun before DE playing the giant and Liberty falls is better than the giant if you move nostalgia away and if you further remove reimaginings from BO3 then I really think BO1 and BO2 are far beyond the maps we had in BO3...DE is my favourite map for sure but Gorod, Zetsubo and Revelations aren't touching BO2 buried origins Mob or BO1 call of the dead, moon shang five and kino....so I do believe BO6 has started off as strong as BO1 and we haven't seen such a strong start SINCE BO1.
Dawg ive said it once and ill say it again, bo6 might be able to pull off Zombies Chronicles 2. Nikolai and richtofens voice actors in the game wit the rumors abt primus returning are keeping my hopes stagnant for now, but I stand to be corrected
The reason people dislike armor in cw but not in bo6 is because you have to run to the dummy multiple times per round and waste salvage, while in bo6 everyone drops plates not just elites. Also bo6 is way harder so armor is appreciated.
I dont need too run that much too craft but u understand the point of it
I've always tried to keep it real on both sides.

4 Terminus has a set cast and they interact with each other too, i would hear some of the interactions between character while completing the easter egg too, while ill admit these characters don’t have the same kind of chemistry as the old crew it’s still a nice thing to have, i think with time these characters have a chance to be iconic in their own right
5 the load out weapon falls off pretty quickly now compared to CW and since the wall weapons n box weapons are often a higher rarity then what you spawn with so there’s a reason to buy them so you aren’t at a disadvantage in the later rounds
6 the rarity system helps balance out spawning in with a custom loadout
7 that’s a fair thing to say but imo i also think it’s cool having different zombie archetypes now, while i think each map should still have a specific special zombie i don’t mind having other type of zombies mixed in the horde, like vermin, parasites and even manglers even tho they can be annoying or seem lazy.
The chatgpt ted talk goes crazy
1. lf was a bonus made to appeal to newer players who want a simpler experience if u want to compare atmospheres look at the real maps like citadelle nd terminus
2. bo6 took systems from previous games and made it better and u cant tell me theres 0 innovations when augments exist which is prolly one of the best systems we got since pack a punch
3. bo6 is a sequel to cold war so obviously they gon borrow systems and mechanics like how they did w every other cod bo1-bo4 but bo6 has actually done it well and improved on them, gameplay also vastly different as zombie spawns zombie speeds hit time and armour were all reworked and rounds actually get more difficult past round 30 unlike in cold war where it only makes zombies sprint. Also look at terminus and any map on cold war and u see how much more effort has been put into it
4. terminus has a set cast and liberty falls didnt get one as its a bonus map ? even then liberty falls still has more content than any other bonus map and nothing making u use operators also dawg .. every other map gon have a set crew
5.understand the standard pistol shi but gameplay way different for bo6 and it js wouldnt work w the current point system
6. weapon rarities and tier 3 pack is better for progression since i dont see how packing once at round 8 then having a gun that can kill until round 30 is a good thing
7. there wasnt a problem when panzers were reused in de ? and the cycle of the game js started and its already confirmed citadelle has a new enemy type w elemental weapons and u forgetting about amalgams and vermin
Its also pointless in bo1 cuz evwry gun is pretty much ass and the only saving grace is wonder weapons ( not looking at u winter howl )
It’ll be interesting to see how these games are compared in 5 years time
Gotta give it time to stew
everything we wanted?? nobody wanted body armour. buy stations. a map with no personality
@@camwow935"no personality" dawg it has been overrun a few hours ago 😭
Also nobody really cares about body armor and buy stations
@camwow935 you know i hated arrmor before bo6 lunches but after trying how easily zombies hit you there is no way you will survive without it
And tarmnuis is such a great map waaay better then i though
@@therelax4166 honestly tho these zombies are insane, without armor this shit would be the hardest zombies game in terms of the ai.
The only thing that makes bo6 better so far is the progression and the fact that there’s two fully realized maps at launch and DLC 1 a month and a half from launch
Two maps is the least they can do. Bo4 literally had 4 full zombies experiences at launch, and none of them were half assed like Liberty Falls
@ liberty falls wasn’t halfassed tho they are fully realized maps with multiple side quests and a main quest, you do not dictate what’s half baked because it would go against your definition of half baked, also all those bo4 maps jumbled messes that were broken for quite a bit of time after launch
@@guidopasquetto911I wouldn't say liberty falls is half assed
They literally brought gobblegums back. They understand bo3 is goat. I agree that the full life cycle will be a banger.
Is it a hot take to say bo6 gum system over bo3 gum system

@Teccaaaa353 during the ps3 era it was reversed, ps3 had to wait a month for dlc and it was terrible so I know the pain
Nah man don’t apologize that’s what the whole point of the video is!! To open up a spot for discussion! We all love and care about the mode :)
@MZC3 I appreciate it and thanks for your response! I found your channel over the weekend and absolutely loved your video on the dark ops challenges and what to use prestige tokens on. Wishing you all the success for your channel :)
Nah
If BO6 launches more maps as Terminus, I'm all for it, the Terminus Easter Egg is the funnest I've had with a zombies map than any other zombies map to date, BO6 Definetly has potential like you said, but not everything is gonna be perfect, BO3 has it's fair share of flaws as well, from it's maps launches, precautions to run it on PC, etc.
Bo3 is such a total package that if bo6 doesn’t have at least 6 maps or chronicles 2 I’ll be disappointed. Crazy to think they’re almost a decade apart….
Just wait on it
It will 100% have at least 6 maps
The difference is bo3 was rock solid slightly after release and there is not a single bad map included they are all pretty amazing even the worse ones.
@@DarkworldLP ZNS was bad i think. Like...really boring.
@@threehermans15you are right with that. But nonetheless those things are making it somehow worse but that doesn't mean it's a bad game.
BO1 is still better than BO3 to me even after chronicles, I do have to say I’m loving Bo6 so far and if every map is great it could be better than BO3
I hope they make a zombies DLC with like 6 maps or so, even if they don’t connect to the main story line.
bro why did the fact chronicles basically connected to bo3 NEVER CROSS MY MIND IM SO DUMB BRO THANK YOU
Great video brother, almost 100% agree with you.

Maybe I just got older and zombies isn’t for me anymore.
Fair take man I appreciate your respectfulness when leaving your opinion!! This is just a place for discussion there’s obviously no right or wrongs either way!
people never talk about how mediocre chronicles actually is, the entire reason every single map in the chronicles pack was so good in the first place was the perfectly balanced high round gameplay and bo3 completely ruins it
idk alot of people generally agree none of the remasters are nearly as good... besides maybe moon
I disagree, i think high rounds were unreasonably difficult back in the old days, gobblegums add a more fun way to play. You can still do no gums but its an option to use that especially with how fun it is with gums.
Your opinion is not a fact
Verruckt chronicles sucked, why I play with the revamped mod.
Not to mention they just straight up forgot phd flopper
I enjoyed this sort of laid-back discussion style video, and I hope you do more in the future.
However, I think it's a massive jump in conclusions to say that "We'll never get a Black Ops 3 again" = "I don't want zombies to ever be successful again"
When people say stuff like this, it should be seen in a positive light, black ops 3 was a blessing, and it is more than validated in having that revered untouchable status.
One big thing BO6 Zombie's has is the killa casual more open world style over the linear style.
I’m pretty sure they’re going to fix that with today’s patch as it was mentioned in the notes.
I remember people saying the same thing when Cold War came out. The post launch bo6 content sounds promising
This is honestly such a based and refreshing take dude, how does it feel to have such massive balls⁉️⁉️

I truly feel one thing that is missing in current zombies is the pack a punch animation as stupid as it sounds man I love that no hud knuckle crack it just made you feel like you were about to crack down with some power!
I’ll be suprised if they can actually make bo6 better than bo3,bo6 is alrdy good so it beating bo3 would change everything 😊
I hope this game gets to a point where I'm able to have this as the only cod I'll have to have downloaded
Exo zombies was the last good one. Also i cant wait to spend 500 dollars on gobblegum!!111!
I remember everyone including me hated Bo3 when it first came out. Ultimately it became one of my favorites. I do agree that something very similar is happening with Bo6.
“Everyone” is doing A lot here, everyone didn’t hate bo3 when it came out bro that’s just rewriting history
I see your points. The only things that really get me is the mangler spam. And ESPECIALLY the point system. The mangler spam is something they can fix. But theres no way there gonna revert to the old point system. I really hope they do it next game. Because I hate this point system so much.
_23:04_
_Wait, what? Lol_
Personally, I think BO6 already HAS surpassed BO3. But, it could just be recency bias!
they're both definitely equally fantastic and I'm definitely excited to see what the future holds for BO6 zombies
Bo6 will be the goat 🙌
I believe I fear!!
As well the amount of different in game menus (wonderfizz, arsenal, crafting bench) take away from the immersive experience
Killstreaks and exfil completely destroy a feeling of loneliness and desolation that the other games had
Plating and warzone-like loot drops feels unnatural and immersion-breaking, but that is 100% personal bias
On top of all of this, there is no custom maps (I highly doubt there will be), and bo3 has without a doubt the best line-up of maps to this day. There's a reason people still play bo3 today, Its a masterpiece of a game, only held back by a few decisions that activision forced onto them (i.e. paid gobblegums, season pass)
Dont get me wrong I think bo6 is a big upgrade from cold war, and it is a really fun game, but saying it will surpass bo3 is just crazy talk.
Also you said if there were no bad maps it will go down as the best, however Liberty balls is a bad map. Id equate it to tranzit, fun for a casual experience, but overall a very flawed map
Die rise tranzit buried would be incredible with these new mechanics🔥
My only critique on bo6 is I would like to see an improved skybox, it’s the only thing I miss from bo3!
First off: PLEASE LISTEN TO BOSSMAN BEFORE COMMENTING
Second: I don’t agree or disagree.
Totally valid point but unfortunately 2/3 of the player base is on console :(
The difference is that bo6 will not get chronicles 2
In the intro did I just hear my favorite song from my favorite map🤔
👀👀
It can HANG!!
I sure hope so, only time will tell
Oh and including a second game you’re gonna have to pay 70.00 for as part of this game is crazy.
Loving BO6 so far but custom zombies will always give BO3 a leg above the other games
Black ops 6 is amazing just hoping all the dlcs are good
won't even beat bo4
I don't think It will ever be better. I do have my bias, I have been playing zombies since WAW. There are things that initially pulled me in and that drastically changed since bo3
Gobblegums: I don't like them a whole lot, but I'm neutral on them.
0:09 You must be kidding. Ima watch this all the way
Whole way through like Richtofen read the Kronorium
@ Real lol. Haven’t tried BO6 zombies, I want to but don’t have the game. I still enjoy going back to BO3. Barely a quarter through the video lol.
Black ops 1 is better than both. It’s the realest form of zombies all maps were a HIT
STOP IT
Bo3,bo6. Are. Good
Bob2
I don't think a remaster would work because of how different bo2 is from the new game, I think they should come out with a map that works well with the new mechanics because bo6 isn't like any games before it where as bo2, bo1, and b03 are generally similar in gameplay and mechanics.
I think it has the potential. I love it a lot but to me Bo3 is the holy grail of Zombies. But if they keep it consistent with everything then it’s going to be up there if not better
Hold on a second -> made before the video, let’s see what I think after
Edit: yeah chronicles saved bo3, we need chronicles 2
If they make a new game next year and release 6 more maps with primis that doesn’t make bo6 any better, next year is gonna be a completely different game not attached to bo6 and another $70
see where i think your wrong is yes if it hold us the entire year but black ops 3 is still holding up strong 10 YEARS LATER!!!!!
Black ops 3 will remain the best experience if BO6 or BO25 do not get mod support. Mod support really goes a long way in helping a game thrive and BO3 giving us access to those experience just puts it over for me.
I agree with you that mod support is great but 2/3 of the community will never experience it
bo6 has easily been the best zombies experience in a while
Bo3 is the pinnacle of zombies with maps like der eischendrache(idk if i spelled it right) and chronicles but there are some maps that are just not for casuals "zetsubo no shima" and "revelations" but as i said when chronicles came out thats when it cemented itself as the pinnacle of zombies and i may not like bo6 much but i like to think bo6 zombies will possibly be either a good mode or a decent enough mode for when people think back fondly of if.
Although a problem I still have is the maps just feel like campaign missions but zombies in it, I wish they can improve on that and change it, other then that B06 is ok, obviously the rarity and armor exists but it dosent feel too op To the point that it dosent feel like zombies anymore, imo B04 was the best armies system, not too op, not too weak, just enough to save you, and you’re completely right, B06 basically just came out for zombies, theres only 2 maps and saying that B06 has any chance to compete with any cod is a stretch as not even B03 could do that, i would like to see a game, not like B03 but just the gameplay mechanics of it back in a future cod, such as a specialist behind a quest and maybe having either a shield or a quest for tier 2 and 3 armor instead of paying for it, and I think the only reason people are saying B03 better then B06 is because of the things,
To me, BO2 had better zombies than BO3
Black ops 6 it's so perfect guys how don't play it
I want to clarify I do think black ops 6 is a solid cod.
They need too stop using the mangler in every map since cw...
Or we became a zombie map who called mangler factory?
Is next year's cod gonna be done by treyarch again 2 years in a row?
The next cod is a black ops 2 sequel I think
I’ll give it a listen
That’s all I can ask!!
i think its too early to tell... but if chronicles 2 drops it will be the best game for sure
tbh if you remove the ability for reimaginings to count towards a game then the launch of BO6 is 1 million times better than just being able to play SOE in BO3, SOE is one of my top maps now but I truly only had fun before DE playing the giant and Liberty falls is better than the giant if you move nostalgia away and if you further remove reimaginings from BO3 then I really think BO1 and BO2 are far beyond the maps we had in BO3...DE is my favourite map for sure but Gorod, Zetsubo and Revelations aren't touching BO2 buried origins Mob or BO1 call of the dead, moon shang five and kino....so I do believe BO6 has started off as strong as BO1 and we haven't seen such a strong start SINCE BO1.
Black ops 3 is a core memory.
Can’t disagree here it was a cannon event
Dawg ive said it once and ill say it again, bo6 might be able to pull off Zombies Chronicles 2. Nikolai and richtofens voice actors in the game wit the rumors abt primus returning are keeping my hopes stagnant for now, but I stand to be corrected
