That said, I would absolutely kill for a Siege stream every other month or so, I ADORE this squad in Siege, it brings me back to the simple days of this game when everything wasn't so damn optimized and sweaty. I'm not asking for a return to Siege week, but please Teo, don't leave me for another 3 years. I don't know if my little heart can take it. These past 3 vods have been to die for. (ALSO: Azami has a suit and not armor like the rest of the ops because she literally from the Yakuza in Siege lore. iirc there is Kevlar underneath. Also Zero is Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell, to answer conversations from the vod)

LMFAO right, ranked 2.0 was the biggest flop of history. The games only pillar of survival is by 1 streamer named Jinxy. Numbers are going down and siege has 50k active players. Which is as much as "therock shoe maker tycoon" in fortnite creative which is a gamemode. Siege used to be great now its trash :(@@Gigopz

Nope, ranked 2.0 is better than the old system, twitch numbers don't have anything to do with player numbers, you are comparing Siege a competitive fps e-sport to fortnite, probably the most casual kid friendly game ever made, if you are only looking at numbers than I don't see a reason to play anything else but league of legends since that has the highest player counts. 50k active players is more than 99% of other games in existence and how do you after all of that say the game used to be good when back then it had one tenth of the player base it has now, if its really about numbers then surely the game is better now when it has 10x the player count it did back then. Siege is fine, if you want fortnite you can go play it, but Siege ain't going nowhere. I don't need numbers to validate that I like/dont like something and Siege doesn't need numbers to be fine, if the game lost half of its players tomorrow I couldn't care less, I played it since season 1 when it actually was trash and barely playable and I will keep playing regardless of the existence of more popular and casual friendly games.
I think with siege, the skill floor has just shot up over the years. Diamond at launch is like, silver today. Watch back a clip or two of the first invitational, the difference of skill between players then versus players now is really insane. 5 years ago quick-peeking like Beaulo meant you were diamond, nowadays even bronze players are doing it - albeit not very well.

i've had this video on in the background so im not sure if this is the case for this vod, but i usually just give up hope in terms of teo playing competitively. he just focuses on his chat/stream too much so he doesnt get immersed or sweaty but i understand he needs to engage with the chat and hes entertaining enough that he keeps us around even if his gameplay sometimes falls short.

Although siege is basically a different game at this point from what it was ~7 years ago it is I would go as far to say in a better place competitively. I think casually meh it can still be enjoyed but if you want something on par with CS for example r6 is slowly getting there but it is closer.
