That final scene says so much in small details... I don't know how many hours I've spent talking about it with friends. Subtle things like Kaori's apparent lack of expression illuminated by the green light that turns blue when hearing Kousei say he had her, which I understand with the mixture of happiness and sadness she is feeling hearing this, he who in turn it demonstrates in micro detail him going from hope that his feelings will be reciprocated to resignation with Kaori's lack of response. I love all of this so much.
gosh i forgot about auntie seto...... thanks for activating my memory again.... we're just going forward with the notion that holly has a minimum 99% chance to cry on every episode until the conclusion. just let it flow, it's ok to let those emotions go. cry for those that can't always get teary with this as easily. when i saw fireflies that was pretty much gonna be holly sob moment coming
