Ironic Chuck says time to start cancelling shows cause at this time the CW was cancelling nearly all of the Arrowverse shows and more.

Just can't believe Cas never met Jody, the person his daughter is living with.
    Love seeing Billie again.

The world that Chuck destroyed at the end had two moons and Radio Shed instead of Radio Shack. Not our Earth. And death doesn't go out and kill people, he just collects them when they die. Billy has never tried to kill anyone other than her own reapers, she tries to get them to do it themselves.

I actually really loved this episode! Jensen insisted on coming back to the Kaia storyline and I'm really glad he did! I think the plan was most likely to bring the og Kaia back in Wayward Sisters so I think this was the best/only option to at least kind of get there. I'm just sad that we never got a Claire/Kaia reunion but Kathryn Newton was definitely too expensive for Supernatural to hire back at this point.

I had a hard time accepting Billy as Death, just sit right for me after the original..

Your not alone in that. I like Bille fine but she sadly doesn't compare to OG Death

I didn't have a hard time accepting her as Death but I didn't like how the writers changed her personality..
Reaper Billie had a quiet confidence and ever so subtle sense of humor and irony that seemed to disappear or turn to bubbling under the surface anger..
Death Billie, probably wouldn't have that flirty moment Reaper Billie did with Crowley, just obvious enough for the rest of the characters to react.
Rather than taking something completely in stride, like Rowena's tantrum, now she's annoyed rather than unaffected.

Missed opportunity promo line.. for several seasons...
In the world of Supernatural, going into the light does not always mean what you think it means.
    I love episodes with Jody.
Well crap.. skipped the not just stupid but Winchester stupid scene.
*raises glass to the girl playing both Kaias*
I'm all in on those being two totally different people.
I don't like what the writers are doing with Billie here but we're learning new lore.. or possibly challenging old lore.
She explained that Chuck is ending all the other worlds.. clearly, Death is aware of the other worlds.
This begs the question, since Death is one of 4 horsemen, could the other 3 have seen the other worlds too?
And the challenge, maybe, if I'm remembering correctly, didn't AW Michael say he'd locked up death and all the reapers in his world?
Did the continuity staff go home early for covid?
We could go the -Who shot JR- route and just make that little continuity error into; Chuck only wrote one world with an all knowing Death and had to make copies for the other worlds... but that doesn't answer if the mother world had all knowing horsemen.
    hmmmm
JMHO.. Radio Shed is a different world's version of Radio Shack.
    I miss that store.

We all know the CW loves their crossover episodes. This was about the time that Arrow was ending and the multiple earths of the arrowverse were being destroyed. I always wondered if this was their feeble attempt to interweave this arc with that storyline.

This was a pointless episode. They talked about how much Kaia & Clarie were in love yet Claire isn't even in the damn episode and real Kaia is only in five minutes. And I didn't care about Dark Kaia at all, didn't even care when she died. But the biggest plot hole is Jack caring about Kaia in the first place when he's still missing a chuck of his soul, this will make more sense in the next episode. Look I'm upset Wayward Sisters didn't get its own show but this was still a pointless episode for the finale season.

Without it, we wouldn't know Chuck was ending worlds.. we wouldn't know God has a book in Death's library and the rest of the book lore. Sure there was a lot of filler but we learned stuff too.

These were some clarifying points that Bobo Berens made about the importance of this episode, in S15 (taken from his Twitter feeds):-
      - At the beginning of the season, Jared and Jensen spoke with the writers about the final season. Most of the convo was about the ending, but when loose ends came up Jensen made a point of wanting part 2 of the Dark Kaia spear saga [Dean had broken a promise onscreen to her that didn't sit right with Jensen]
      - I [Bobo] felt it was important because Dark Kaia’s promise to Dean in 14.09 was so loaded, and we never resolved it. (The plan was to do it in S14 but it didn’t happen.) That Jensen agreed it mattered gave me some steam to push for it.
      - But this season is very heavily serialized and finding an actual place for it became really difficult. The opening really came when me and @Merecuda [Meredith Glynn] realized we needed a consequential Chuck episode to bridge the season around ep 12.
      - At various points, the idea for the ep was far wackier, with a more hands on Chuck. But the core idea was that Chuck would be ending worlds, and we could use Dark Kaia to tell that story in a reasonably contained way.
      - Which allowed us to tie off another loose end - real Kaia. The arc of S1 of Wayward Sisters was always going to be broadly Dark Kaia vs the WS, culminating in Kaia’s rescue and DK’s tragic defeat. I always wanted to make that death right.
      - But with limited real estate on Supernatural I had resigned myself to Kaia just being dead. It was only by embedding it in S15 stories (Chuck, Jack’s return to the Bunker, Billie’s plan) it felt like it was possible to tie that loose end in a relevant and appropriate way.
      - The episode is about Sam, Dean, Cass and Jack reintegrating as a family unit in time to face the fight ahead. And by saving Kaia, despite the risks and odds, affirming their shared values. The candy in the middle, for me and those who care about WS, was saving Kaia.
      - Anyhow it’s an unusual ep in many ways- a lot happens, but there is also a lot of tablesetting for things to come. And we were so lucky to have the cast firing on all cylinders, and Rich directing the shit out of it. It has a lot of integrity in its execution.
      /end
... so those are the explanation of why this episode was made, to answer most of what you've commented, by the writer himself. They need to show to the audience, not tell, that Chuck is ending worlds, by making use of the Bad Place ... and at the same time they save the OG Kaia as originally intended in Wayward Sisters but alas it was not picked up. Pretty smart move if I do say so myself ...

      What?
This episode is really important, all the info we get about god and the worlds, even if you dont care about, kaia, its a wrap up and she is there for them to know those realities are getting destroyed, billie and the book of god
Jack has no soul but he is not stupid, is not that he cares but just like when killed Mary, he knew what he did was bad and he needed to find a way to bring her back, tho that didnt work
The straigh up display of Chucks power, ending galaxies and universes while eating and "enjoying the shows"

The scythe cannot kill God. It can only reap him when he is dead.
