In a podcast stephanie said that there were moments rosa would feel attracted to gina Where either she was looking at her or her hand placement was on the chaisr gina was sitting
Gina's nicest moment is only 1 second long, and it occurs in the background: when Jake is sentenced, her immediate reaction is to turn and put a hand on Amy's shoulder. For once, no meanness, no pretending not to care about this girl, her immediate reaction is not for herself but for her friend.
To the point where it doesn't feel like a friendship. I don't have friends, who mix cement in my drink, ask me to burn my gift for them or consistently make fun of my habits in bad faith
Wish they also include the part when Gina helps Amy with the shoulder's light, she was also comforted Amy when she's so stressed out after Holt's dinner party. Oh the iconic internet's office episode too.
There's also the time she helped Amy with her shoulder light presentation and the time she got Pimento to move out of Charles' house, and the time she helped Charles stand up to Holt about Gerty. She's actually a nice person in her own way. She just doesn't like to show it
Am I the ONLY one that likes Gina?? I get it why people would think she's annoying but that was HER comedy. That's what made HER funny. Every sitcom has a character like her because it's their lack of braincells and kindness that make character's like her funny. Gina was honestly one of the BEST parts of the show for me. And for those saying she can't act, Gina was probably the most WELL acted person in the show lol.
Oh no I love her, she’s hysterical. Her ego is endlessly entertaining to watch cuz you know she still appreciates everyone for who they are. And anyone who says Chelsea Peretti can’t act are being ridiculous - they only say that because Gina is so heavily based off of HER! Chelsea is weird and off-kilter, and that’s exactly what I love about both her and Gina!
that last one tho was probably actually the nicest part, other than offering to help with jakes rent. most of the others were just her riding on someone else doing the work.
To be fair there was also that episode where Holt and Jake were in witness protection and like Gina stayed with Holt and also helped Holt get on the truck with his injury as well as crashing the truck into figgis car
"So you think of the first people that ever needed toilet fix because a loved one's life was in danger?" "…Yes?" "You're not. Welcome to New York." THIS GETS ME EVERYTIME
Everyone saying this is all the times Gina was nice is clearly forgetting the time she showed up with the rest of the squad to family game night for Rosa in the episode where Rosa came out as bi.
He gave his lunch in the second episode for the padolski kid. My point is that scully finds Gina scary, and in the same first season, the one with junior outreach program episode, she was saying to Hitchcock not to bring his food in Tupperware cause it keeps breaking her nails while opening it.
Gina can be really nice to some people like Jake and Holt and mean to others. Love her character though, its fun, and also shows not everyone you work with needs to like you or be nice or good friends etc. Does a character have to be nice to be fun to watch? Dont see the big deal about it! She s crazy, funny and has really good moments with the squad. ❤
Okay I may be completely wrong but I feel like she really started being mean to Amy, after that one episode she volunteered to help but Amy said that since she wasn’t a cop, she might not be much help or something?? Idk. But considering when she took care of 6 drink Amy, I feel like she let for of that and she just pretended because she’s a rascal
That’s honestly exactly where I always assumed it began. I don’t recall her making a single mean comment about Amy until after that moment when Amy told her she couldn’t help cause she wasn’t a cop. Which granted, was a mean spirited comment, but I can’t imagine it hurt GINA of all people that badly. You can tell there were definitely some changes in the writers room between the first season and the rest of the show, and that’s probably how Gina’s mean, sarcastic, degrading, but somehow lovable attitude came about.
She mix cement in your drink, she ruthlessly roasts your lifestyle and will burn away the gift you made specially for her. Isn't Gina a great friend guys
She had her good moments as a friend but she was pretty mean to Amy. She mocked Amy all the time for being nerdy and now that she's leaving she gives a moral lesson of 'be urself '?
Might be late to this video, but people hating Gina are being unreasonable. Her character's literally like the human version of Roger the Alien in American Dad. Yes she's Over the top, but it's a show where cops clip their toenails in the office and also whack printers in a rage of anger. Gina is funny...mean and aloof like a cat, but funny.
I wish there was more to Gina than just consistent ego with a couple "eh" moments. This video provides me a bit of extra respect for the character, but I just wished there was more dimensions. She could of had this amazing transition into a more humble woman throughout the show, but we only get this. Sorry to the Gina fans, but I strongly dislike her.
Not hated her strongly but she was annoying a lot of times and definitely the least favourite of all the characters(main+side, which is saying something)
Gina was my least favorite character, she was really annoying and the worst character in the show, I liked the vulture more than Gina, she was abusive, and manipulative
Oh dip she got Rosa to feel her feelings
Inadvertent Gina moment 2 for 1

I have one thing on my bucket list
1. Experience a true Gina moment

I'm surprised there's 8.5 minutes of footage on this topic

Her eating Scullys lunch every day must be the biggest lie in this series. Scully is a pushover but no way he is giving up food!

You know there is a problem when you can't get a full 10 mins video of a character being nice when they were in it for 7 seasons.
I mean it's more like five seasons, a few episodes in season six, and the finale
she is nice in other places as well, but this is just like in 10 minutes
Well that's what makes her character so interesting and not mediocre igg..
To be fair… that’s her entire character. You wouldn’t say that about The Vulture. Or about Hitchcock not being disgusting
@@DeadBore I would say that abt the Vulture and Hitchcock...honestly I think alot of people would
