Да из него 100 лет стрелять можно причём каждый день и ничего ему не будет с его огромным ресурсом ! Чего его хранить просто так ? Манурин это супермен среди револьверов ! Просто его надо вовремя обслуживать вот и все ! Ненадо превращать его в идола ! Просто стреляйте ..
I am wondering what particular features make this revolver much more durable than, for instance, a Smith & Wesson Model 27 or Model 586, both reportedly developed for constant use of full load .357 Magnum ammo. Personally, I have always found S&W’s weakest point in revolvers to be the window under the cylinder from which the cylinder stop protrudes to grab the notch in the cylinder. There is very little “meat” supporting the cylinder stop in this area. Does Manurhin have a substantially better system of cylinder lockup?
Apparently the gun is built with special steel. For instance it should be able to sustain a double load .357 Magnum without damage (it doesn’t mean of course that one should use such load, but in case of accident...). Each gun is hand finished and shoots a full cylinder in factory to check accuracy.
It is made with the type of steel used to build the tooling, highest grade of steel, top mechanical properties, made to cut the other type of metal. The GiGN started with S&W minimum 100 rounds of .357 magnum per day, 365 days per year, they discovered that the gun will de damaged sooner or later used this way. That’s why they cooperated with Manurhin to create a revolver able to shoot 100,000 rounds of .357 magnum without major issues. Thats is the MR73. Does the average Joe need a MR73 nope S&W does great revolvers. You buy a MR73 like you buy a Porsche, beautiful, accurate and durable but a Ford technically can go from A to B too.
