My favorite time of year is when everyone is sharing their new fresh journals! Yours is the first I’ve seen for 2025. Way to be on it! Your journal is beautiful and I need to check out the Bible library stickers. How cute! 🐝

Watching this video with a cup of coffee was so relaxing. Thank you for sharing this with us. Your journal is beautiful. I love the author's backlog pages!! The envelopes were a great idea.
@@AlmasBookJourney your welcome and thank you 😍. I love doing the authors backlog that way, it makes it more fun and hopefully help motivate me to read more of my favorite authors.
I'm not Christian so the Bible tracker wouldn't necessarily be useful to me but I absolutely love the idea! It is so cool to have the bookshelf and all those stickers already printed with the corresponding book, it feels a bit like those sticker albums you get where you look for where to put the new one you got, except of course you do it when you'vve read the corresponding Book and you don't have to worry about trading doubles! The monthly genre is also a great idea. I've had groups where it was such a struggle to all find the same book but with a genre instead there is a lot more leeway, plus then you can discuss the different books together! I think I'll try that as well.
@@Avistew it is so hard to find the same book, especially if it's a only on Kindle unlimited. That's not available in some countries and\or some may not afford it. The genre choice was better for all of us ☺️.
Oh my goodness this is gorgeous! I am currently getting mine set up and I love the idea of the bucket list. I also saw someone post last year of the first line of each book they read so I am adding that one too. Thank you for the inspiration.
Your floral brown paper matched your desk so we'll that j didn't realize it wasn't part of the desk mat design until you moved and glued it! Very beautiful, my favorite browns :) i love the set up!
I am impressed by your effort and enthusiasm. I am a pretty prolific reader, I think - I average around 110 books a year. And I could never in a million years plan what I'm going to read tomorrow, much less next year. Maybe I'm just allergic to "rules". I do keep track of what I have read, with brief "book reports". And I have a book where I keep notable quotes, but that's as far as I can get. Happy reading!
So many beautiful ideas! I love that you kept it in theme - something I struggle to stick to. My current reading journal has an overall theme, but I then I messed it up a couple months into it by giving each book review page its own theme based on the story or by taking cues from the book cover and all my plans of a cohesive theme went out the window, lol. It's so cool that you're ambidextrous, btw!
Ok. Your journal has no business looking that good!! 😂 I love it!! Love the spreads, I can't believe we are going into 2025 in a couple months!! I swear it was like April a couple months ago! 😫 😅
I keep a Book Journal, but the pgs., categories are all printed out. I decided I want to make my own, which is why I tuned in. Beautiful! Little confused though. Like 25 bks. for 2025, then 100 bks.? Other too. Will rewatch. I used to make greeting cards and junk journals and am familiar w/ Shabby Chic and many other companies for papercrafting.. On highlights of the month, why do you have 3 different color lines?. Have watched your book reviews channel😊 Thanks very much!
@@eileennielsen5165 I like to have specific books that I would like to read for the year, so that's the 25 books in 2025. Then I have a yearly goal of reading at least 100 books, and that can be any type of book nothing specific. And I just wanted rainbow colors for the highlight of the month, so just did the seven colors and did them over and over til the end of the page. I love that you're doing your own reading journal! Watch plenty of videos and find what's right for you. I don't personally enjoy writing reviews out so you won't see that in my journal, a lot of others do. Do you like to scrap book or paint, go in that direction. The point is to have fun and your journal can grow with you every year when you find out what works and what doesn't.
