20th Century Fox’s and John Hughes’ “Home Alone” - 2018 Remastered DVD Review

This is a review of the 2018 Remastered DVD of 20th Century Fox’s and John Hughes’ Christmas Classic, “Home Alone.” The film stars Macaulay Culkin as eight-year old Kevin McCallister, and Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern as Harry and Marv, the two bumbling burglars who intend to rob the McCallister family house while the rest of the McCallister family are on vacation to Paris. Kevin has set up many ways to prevent the burglars from robbing the house, meanwhile for the rest of the McCallister family, Kevin’s Mom has trouble getting home to find her son. She goes from the McCallister family home in Chicago, or Orly International Airport in Paris (the current primary airport in Paris is Paris Charles DeGaulle International Airport) and then back to the US in Dallas before ending up in Scranton, PA where she rides with a band of polka musicians bound to Milwaukee.
