The first time I ever watched this video (when it was brand new) I had no idea who Brady Haran was yet. I thought the voice of Two was just some asshole british guy, and I didn't like him! :8 In 2015, his voice is unmistakable as my most bosom friend from Hello Internet, and at the same time... man, do I miss ViHart just making videos for the hell of it, like this.

my favorite number is 4. somewhat similar to 2, but a little bit off, yet more twoness then a simple two. it's a 2s of 2s. a combination of 2s, its like yin and yang, but a level more yin and yang for each yin and yang. old elements like to be 4, 4 seasons, 4 directions, 4 times of a day,4 weeks a month, 4ness 4s.

Basically, what she is doing is converting a polar complex number to exponential form. The basic definition is rcis(theta) = e^(r * i * theta). The proof for that is complicated and in calculus. But theta is in radians and if you know your unit circle, you know that cis(pi) = -1 + 0i = -1 and that equals e^(pi*i). If you need, I can explain more complex later.
