I mean it's free to watch officially on youtube, and both the french VAs, english VAs, and last 2/3 of the creators are still heavily integrated into the fandom
There's even a fangame being created as a 'true' season five, with a bunch of the original voice actors involved, including fully voiced cutscenes (like finally getting a proper kiss scene for Aelita and Jeremie voiced by the original voice actress Sharon Mann).

I may not remember the characters names or the point of the show but I sure as hell remember the captain, the programmer, the pink hair one, the story of her father, and the purple one that was my favorite.... I also remember the DS game. That shit was so good
Personally I think its because it was recently added on Netflix, so people's memories unlocked and came back. [Or we got new fans] but I could be wrong :)

Found this at 3am in an insomnia depression and as soon as those first few notes hit i just instantly remember coming home from school at turning on cartoon network to watch this with my sister and all those good memories came flooding back to me. God i miss those days.

You gotten a "nostalgic trip" (similar like "when your life is flashes before your eyes" type of thing) to the past where memories quickly passes through your minds. Great stuff but at the same time very "melancholic" because ppl would never get those fun and carefree times back...

I miss my childhood so hard right now! Kids today will never know how amazing shows like this has impacted our lives so much.
Inspired me to work on highly destructive weapons. I just found the show so inspiring and beautiful, probably the most life changing show 100%

I mean, a good way to start is to figure out your fighting style and what weapon would come most natural to you. the outfit compliments the weapon and mixes your culture/style
Back when Cartoon Network actually took risks and not played it safe for younger generations. That is when it truly succeeded. Ben 10, Generator Rex, and yes Code Lyoko all took risks to make things dark and not just “kid friendly” and made the viewers think and contemplate their decisions. The only cartoons that do this now are The Owl House as far as I can think of.
We wanted the animators to take darker routes, it’s what kept us invested. We did want just “der her her, funny” we wanted “haha, wait what” . The new generation doesn’t understand the greatness we had that made us, we felt connected to these cartoons and that’s what kept us coming back even decades later.
So do me a favor, show your kids, nieces and nephews, young cousins, hell even the kid of a friend cartoons like this one and ask them if they prefer this old classic or the new trash. I can’t be the only one who feels this way.

Its been years and I still know the words😭😭 This was my whole childhood, even if it was awful CGI and huge foreheads it was the best. And has the catchiest theme song ever
This show is one of the many that represents what I like to call, "The Golden age of Cartoons".
It was this show and many others that helped me cope through some tough times in my childhood and i'm glad so many people still remember it.
same bro. Was living with my mom who didn't work and was an alcoholic at the time. Her boyfriend was a literal psychopath and killed my cat. In and out of prison but from a rich jewish family and knew the police well so even though he was beating my mom everyday in front of me he basically got away with it most of the time. Just like 1 year in prison for that and drug dealing.
Anyways yeah I watched Code Lyoko religiously at this time after school. Bad times, but this show stopped me from suffering more.

I've been binging the series lately and I could never bring myself to skip the theme song. This remix is everything good about this song.
This is the best remix of this theme I have ever heard. Brings me back to the mornings before primary school where I sat in front of the tv watching Code Lyoko, a shame back then I never ended up watching the whole series when I was a kid, but multiple times in my life have I just sat back and binged the series

I didn't even remember this show for years, then I saw the title on Netflix. I quickly started it and as soon as the music started playing I remembered it as though I was a kid again, watching it on cartoon network, and found myself just singing along with the opening. Virtualization!!

No matter when or where you were born, Code Lyoko is part of many childhoods. I remember I saw it, but didn't get it, but now I realize the show and the theme are absolute Bangers. Timeless melody and great lyrics, which show intros miss today. This is a version which could easily be played at a party. Let's all hope Lyoko makes its return and gets as popular as back then. #NewLyokoWarrior

I'm 17 yo now and I remember about 10 years ago when was my first time watching code lyoko. I just rewatched it in English instead of Finnish because I wanted to know what was different and it gave me nostalgia vibes and reminded of many things that happened when I was younger. I'm going to save every code lyoko episode in my language for my children if I'm ever going to get them.
