- If there was just one thing these pros and coaches could tell you about training for an ultra - this is it! Enjoy the advice from these pro athletes and experts, including record-breaking trail and ultra runners Jon Albon, Camille Herron, John Kelly. Thanks to all the awesome interviewees that share their hard won knowledge and training advice in this film at the National Running Show 2020.
Sorry about the sound for some clips - please bear with. I do have some whizzy new wireless interview microphones now but this was last year when using a very temperamental mic, so there is some very frustratingly un-dimmable background noise in some, but the tips from the interviewees are worth persevering!

Amazing advice from Anna! For us mere mortals the most exciting thing about a race is that you've never gone that far before.
Glad you liked it!
Great to hear that's there is nothing special or new in this. Reassuringly the same advice we hear all the time. Trust the process of dedicated practice.
Great work Claire gathering all these tips
Thank you!
Great video, thanks!
very good interviews. it is helpful for me. thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Interesting the variety and in some cases the complete opposite ideas. I’ll throw one out none spoke of: put yourself in uncomfortable situations and embrace it mentally. Mental toughness may be more important that muscle toughness at mile 80, at night, it’s cold starting to rain and your facing a big climb. 😱😆🏃♂️🏃♂️
Nice addition!
That was very helpful, thanks a lot :))
Glad it helped!
