I was abused during my childhood and became a wild teenager I was addicted to drugs, sold drugs and was an all around street rat. Almost everyone I hung out with went to prison in charges ranging anywhere from drug trafficking, home invasion and even murder. I narrowly escaped prison time myself a few times. I ended up overdosing in 07 and God showed me things about the nature of earth and our afterlife. One specific example is I was met in my grave by what I thought were 2 demons. They asked me who my Prophet was and what I believed. After I was sent back to my body on earth I searched every religion I could trying to find the answers to what I had been shown. I ended up back in a dark place but still struggling to find the truth. I laid in bed and cried and asked God to please show me the way. I knew there were things about Christianity that just didn't add up (the Trinity) but it still made the most sense religious wise. Shortly after that I met a new friend who was Muslim. I never knew anything about Islam outside of what they dressed like as I had already been advocating for Palestinian rights. When my friend taught me what he knew it was like the darkness had lifted. He gave me a copy of the Quran and I read it all in a short amount of time while reading I would stop and break down into tears because it would be the things I seen when I died. I took my shahadah shortly after and have now been muslim for 8 years. Islam is what I searched for my whole life and sometimes shaytan will try to drag me back to my old life and I have to fight harder because I know without a doubt that hellfire is real.

Idk if this is a wrong thing to say but these days I kept telling myself that I want to start praying again but i kept procrastinating until i watched this. this is truly inspiring and made me pick up the Qur'an. thank you so much for this. MashaAllah, may Allah (SWT) guide us all.
Inshallah success in this life and the next for you sister. Remember Allah swt says whoever remembers me i remember him/her (by name) in a greater gathering (amongst the inhabitants of the heavens i.e. the angels). Allah, the exalted, the king, the provider remembered you by name and mentioned it to the angels. Don't let shaytan demotivate you because of your sins, remember Allah is all forgiving and any good that you do you will definitely see it on the day of judgement.

Wow, MashAllah so many of us reverts really felt this. Whether it's the part about being tempted to lead the life of before or trying to give dawah to those that we love...... 15 years and counting, best dawah we can give is our actions. Family ask me why I always land on my feet. Why I'm always at peace and I tell them you got Allah and you out your faith in him he opens doors. I have had many times of letting my faith fall down. Years of going astray in my actions. But I NEVER stopped making dua to guide me even in the middle of committing a sin. Even knowing I would commit it again. Had a sis not give up on me. Tell me it's okay if I stopped covering but to NEVER leavey prayer. Who didn't judge or preach just reminded me to NEVER LEAVE THE PRAYER. Even if I went back to praying with no faith or concentration, without being surrounded by other Muslims. Without having family support. Allah raised my faith and once again gave me some of the peace I had lost. Never give up. If Allah loves you, he will test you.

Remember Allah swt says whoever remembers me i remember him/her (by name) in a greater gathering (amongst the inhabitants of the heavens i.e. the angels). Don't let shaytan demotivate you because of your sins, remember Allah is all forgiving and any good that you do you will definitely see it on the day of judgement.

Prophet Muhammed SAWS said whoever says this Dua'a once in the morning and die before evening *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH* and whoever says this Dua'a once in the evening sincerely and dies before Morning *S/he is GUARANTEED JANNAH*
Please make it a habit to recite everyday, once in the morning and once in the evening

اَللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي, لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ, خَلَقْتَنِي, وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ, وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ،, أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ, أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ, وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي, فَاغْفِرْ لِي; فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ اَلذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
Allahumma, Anta Rabbi, la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa ana 'abduka, wa ana 'ala 'ahdika wa wa'dika mastata'tu, a'udhu bika min sharri ma sana'tu, abuw'u laka bidhanbi, wa abuw'u laka bini'matika 'alayya faghfirli, fa innahu la yaghfirudh-dhunuba illa anta
Meaning
“O Allah! You are my Lord. None has the right to be worshipped except You. You created me and I am your servant and I abide by your covenant and promise as best I can. I seek refuge in you from the evil, which I have committed. I acknowledge your favor upon me and I acknowledge my sins, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except you.”
There are some conditions for repentance which we need to follow
1. Admit our mistake / sin to Allah SWT
2. Regret the sin we committed
3. Seek Allah's forgiveness and repent sincerely back to him (saying this Dua'a)
4. Make a promise to Allah that you'll do your best not to repeat this sin again
In case you fail as human
Good news once again 🌹
Sincerely follow the above steps and repent again
*Allah SWT promised that he will always accept our repentance not matter how much times we repeat as long as we are sincere with our repentance*
Spread this message with everyone and we'll get reward everyone someone practices these even after we leave this world 🪦

Wow, MashAllah so many of us reverts really felt this. Whether it's the part about being tempted to lead the life of before or trying to give dawah to those that we love...... 15 years and counting, best dawah we can give is our actions. Family ask me why I always land on my feet. Why I'm always at peace and I tell them you got Allah and you out your faith in him he opens doors. I have had many times of letting my faith fall down. Years of going astray in my actions. But I NEVER stopped making dua to guide me even in the middle of committing a sin. Even knowing I would commit it again. Had a sis not give up on me. Tell me it's okay if I stopped covering but to NEVER leavey prayer. Who didn't judge or preach just reminded me to NEVER LEAVE THE PRAYER. Even if I went back to praying with no faith or concentration, without being surrounded by other Muslims. Without having family support. Allah raised my faith and once again gave me some of the peace I had lost. Never give up. If Allah loves you, he will test you.
