      So, you noticed that too... Locked out of your own gun when it malfunctions and your life depends on it working immediately? Lots of videos that don't match their titles, and bragging about technology that-- is it really making us better? Or, are we becoming too dependent on it and moving ourselves further and further away from nature...Like those bus destination signs. They used to be on scrolls... there was a lock box outside the bus. The driver would open it and turn a small crank until the wanted destination sign was up. Another box and scroll showed the bus number... I say if it ain't broken don't fix it... Now they ALL stop functioning in an EMP event either from nature or from an enemy... and they just keep breaking down on their own!! The driver has to tell each passenger the bus number and destination. .. And they are MUCH MORE expensive to install and maintain... Not an advancement in my book... I think the human race is mentally ill about BOTH money and technology. .. Both are delusional power...

      @@johnlamarca9439 yeah man ur right. Some one told me that everything made by man is going to break down at some point. So, either I can buy another one or repair the one I got. So I have to examine both questions before I buy stuff now a days. Especially careful of the stuff made in China. That stuff from there is really cheap and not well made. Planned obsolescence is the term for the reason things break down. If it didn’t, you would not be back to buy more stuff. See it’s simple.

    I like how they're advertising Kel Tec's P50 as some sort of gimmicky defense industry item like most of the other things on this list.
    I love Kel Tec, but that's not the type of market they necessarily go for. Kel Tec specializes in unconventional innovative firearms geared for the civilian market. The P50 is meant to be an affordable PDW option to take advantage of the small comeback of 5.7x28mm that was occurring before COVID hit. but i can very much see use for an advanced version of this for police in the form of tasers (have them also record audio, and perhaps even have cameras to show useage throughout, and be used for training even.) to prevent people grabbing them off you expecially since tasers carry batteries iregardless. along with protection use, for high level security in the form of tasers, or guns in the rare cases there used.

      The 5.7 round, because it's very fast, it also shoots very flat which still makes it much more convenient to shoot to some. Talking small game though, I also agree the 5.7 isn't exactly ideal simply because you won't have much left of the critter.
      Get a .22, a 20ga birdshot or even better, a BB gun which over all firearms has the major advantage of being significantly quieter. Despite it being overrated at times the 5.7 definitely isn't a low power round.

    The Kel-Tec P50 is an interesting looking gun, but the magazine placement looks a bit awkward. It would have been better if they put the mag above the barrel with the frame going over it for optic mounts, don't hinge that part you lose zero that way, just slide the fresh mag in and down to lock in. This would make reloading far easier and also move the barrel to be more in line with the trigger helping with recoil. Then again that might be too similar to the P90.

    • @mattmarzula
      @mattmarzula 2 ปีที่แล้ว +11

    Doesn't look very well protected ! I'm guessing its not going to stand up to a couple 7.62mm rounds ! That would be my first target !

      its not though. Hit 1 wire and the whole system is down. We used similar systems in afghanistan and they were always broken. Even when they didn't get shot at.

    Interesting design on the P50, but the fact that it's a mere 22 caliber makes it less than practical for any of its advertised uses.
    Additionally, it's somewhat superfluous considering the Calico 9mm has existed for quite some time.

      5.7 is meant to defeat light body armor. It's basically a baby P90.

      It’s a 5.7. It’s considerably better than “a mere .22”

    Am I the only one who finds it amusing that the aerodynamic impact on the vehicle is mentioned?
