In fact Quang, I always thought that you & Wilson would open a restaurant together. Anyway, it's good to see you & Wilson FEASTING on Banh Mi together (w/ Linh) and enjoying Life. And dessert too. Also, Wilson is a real "GO GETTER"! His resume is a mile long and he's still a young man. He will be a success at so many things in this life. I still kind of hope you and Wilson can do something together (with food & business), Quang, in the years to come. I'd love to know. Sure it would explain a lot! Perhaps he will tell us one day? Not sure if he believes in the stars? PS. I do know that Wilson Wong (Quang's bestie) is a Leo and he is definitely true to form. :-)

I basically grew up eating van loc banh mi :) I was slightly worried when I heard there were new owners but they really kept all the flavours and will continue on being my go to banh mi place! Great job Wilson! (ps please bring back the goi cuon)

Desserts are mostly products with Mung Bean, Pandan, Tapioca Starch, Sugar and Coconut milk. Except the one with Black Sesame.

i love banh mi but i was never a fan of how hard and crunchy the bread is lol.. i know i am probably one of the few to feel this way but i dislike the hard crunchy bread, it makes it hard to eat and gets everywhere on you not to mention the bread also has some spot that are kinda hard/sharp and will cut your mouth if you are not careful, hard to explain this part. when i buy banh mi, i let it sit out then reheat to soften up the bread lol.
Actually!! Since we get our bread fresh daily, Next time you go to a Banh Mi shop you can ask for - not toasted - that should help with the crunchiness and cutting of the mouth.
