A big group such as Exo is like a choir, they each have assigned parts and it’s carefully picked to produce the best sound for the song or the vibe. If every single member sang all out showing off on each track, the song would sound crazy busy and noisy. And a lot of casual listeners will only pay attention to high notes or aggressive raps, but Exo is so much more than that. Their versatility, wide range from low to high, the uniqueness of each voice and the ability to harmonize together, and the ability to change up their sound is what made them successful year after year after year.
