I love how it blew up in Cartman's face. Kenny and Butters made bank, while Cartman walked away with nothing. Also parallels the post-Covid special, since we know that Kenny, Butters, and Jimmy end up becoming the richest out of all the South Park Elementary alum when they grow up. Butters's work ethic especially parallels it since we know he ends up becoming a businessman.

One thing I think Dickinbaus commented on that you didnt go over was how the laziness of managers is also to blame. You can’t start a business, eat expensive mustard, and live a rich-lux life and expect your workers to be motivated to work for you. Butter’s basically became the owner at that breaking point, and his passion rather than desire for money saved the restaurant.

It's really nice to see Kenny and Cartman have their own episode after they'd been distant in past seasons. The boys used to be structured like Stan and Kyle are friends, Kenny and Cartman are friends, and because Stan and Kyle get along with Kenny they sort of just *end up* hanging out with Cartman. So, reinforcing Kenny and Cartman's friendship was both sorely needed and refreshing.

He was very effective running a Parental Revenge Center, he ran a effective burger store with Kyle that one time. He's pretty good at organizing the kids to do stupid shit, Cartmans really good at getting stuff done as long as he actually wants to do it. And of course wood is a renewable resource.
The people that own woods don’t want a one time payout, they’re interested in continued income. And for that they need constant wood.
So they plant new trees for the ones they cut down, to ensure a continuation of timber.
And we all know trees create oxygen, so in a way, using more paper is encouraging the planting of more green trees!

Honestly, thinking back to the longer seasons we used to get, I'm glad these ones are short now. Yes, long seasons had some peak South Park in them, but there were plenty of season where the episode quality varied heavily. I feel like the fact that they don't have to make as much content allows them to focus on just the best ideas. Some of the best UK TV shows were only around 6 episodes a season, I think it's really a case of quality over quantity. The specials are cool too, I like having the format variety and it makes the show very unique compared to other shows. With all the legal trouble, it's hard to say if they'll keep doing them in the future. I hope at least that the specials format lives on in some capacity, if it can't be exclusive to Paramount or whatever happens.

the jump in numbers is because south park clips on tiktok started to get a bunch of traction, and unlike family guy when it was huge on tiktok, south park clips make you want to go and watch more south park to get the context of the crazy stuff that’s happening in them, and a lot of young people use tiktok and most of those people are also on youtube so the traction that it gains on tiktok would translate onto youtube

ai and robot workers SHOULD be taking over for us. what we need now, I think, is high taxes on businesses and some form of safety net for us average citizens, we're getting to the apex of society where soon capitalism won't work anymore because we just won't have enough jobs left for humans. so instead of trying to find ways to keep ourselves in the rat race of empty work and dead end jobs, we should prepare to replace ourselves.

On talks about the AI episode; I'm a 3D Modeler/Game developer. We've used AI tools for years in software to help with rotoscoping, motion capping, and code blocks. Many people see the aid tools as generative, and while theoretically they are generating a mesh, armature, motion, they're not a full-scaled body of art generation tool. It's typically components used for storyboarding and creating a concept before taking to production. Nothing will beat human creativity and ingenuity in any kind of media made to appeal to.. humans. lol.
What bothers me is fully-generative AI art. Art is extremely nuanced, symbolic, and need massive mental leaps to create links to things that appeal. While an AI can generate a gorgeous color palate and wonderful looking base- it is at its core a generation of someone elses work, mashed with someone elses work, matched with someone els- you get it. I've heard the argument that humans are similar and create their art based on learning over time, copying others. But this isn't entirely the same. We don't have exact generation capabilities that takes a production piece and super-glues it together. We learn based on our inspirations, adapt, and create new ideas. This is why most artists are not specifically afraid; but irked by the tech being what it is.
For personal use on generating concepts that will never see the light of day? I don't care. But at the same time artists that take commissions are having to figure out how they can keep up with something instant. We're no longer relied on. Thank god 3D Generation is still absolutely god-awful, and the topology is unusable. But I hold 0 illusions that it will get to the point where my profession is more under threat as well.
The good parts of AI Chat are that it is a consolidated Wikipedia-esque answering machine for any question you can think of. Using it to ask "Give me a list of resources for this incredibly obscure thing.." and if you don't understand it? "Explain how step 3 works in as much detail as possible.." It's a legitimate tool of information gathering if you know how to use it; since all it does is scrape the internet for information. Is it always correct? Absolutely not. But it may give you references to information that you'd have never known about due to the sheer size of the internet. It's a modern library at its core.
Use it like anything else with a responsible mindset and you can really have a great experience. Use it for exploitation.. and you may learn what it's like to be burned.

Or simply a visual gag of the Cartman house having a historical plaque by the front door would be pretty funny.

In regards to the conspiracy theory; Matt Stone has made it _abundantly_ clear that he knows who it is that's keeping his bread buttered, and to appreciate his circumstantial success... 6 Days to Air used the analogy of van Halen; their creative engine being primarily Eddie with the writing songs and lyrics, but without DLR, it just isn't VanHalen.
