Hi, If you use AutoCAD Electrical, then go here: help.autodesk.com/view/ACAD_E/2015/ENU/?guid=GUID-F725AD1F-C32C-4595-A268-26A49C9A8D99, Autodesk's official site shows how to obtain E-symbol library, which already there in the AutoCAD program. I use AutoCAD general, which has no E-symbol library, so I create my own library. Furthermore, I found two other sites where you can easily down load symbol files and create your own library, if you use AutoCAD general. www.draftsperson.net/index.php?title=Electrical_Symbols_-_Free_AutoCAD_Blocks www.cadblocksfree.com/index.php?id=52 I think this would give you some help on your project.
I am a brand new user and I watched the exploring Autocad 2015 interface beginners guide. It was helpful but I am a Graphic Arts student and was wondering about how or if you draw a basic blue-print in 2 D, can you convert it to 3 D once you are done or how does that work. Thank you very much these are very helpful to me, I love watching them, since it is very overwhelming.
If you're looking to work in 3D you should look into learning software like Revit, Sketchup, etc. A whole new way of putting construction documents (blueprints) together will open up for you.
Wonderful presentation and has been a value
