As lovely as the property is I personally don’t like it when these houses have paths running right close to your windows as you get people nosing in as they go past as I currently have this in the new build I’m in now
Hi Judith, that's such a good point. I think that really small 'gardens' at the front work when you create a tight nit community somewhere rural or a small town, but new build developments need time to earn that 'community' status. So until you feel like you know your neighbours/neighbourhood well enough, you may end up feeling super exposed. Also, if every house is like that, it's not so obvious, but if it's only a few, it definitely makes most people feel quite exposed. These houses often are really good to look at though so it's a trade-off between onlookers and the person living in the home :). I imagine a pair of voile curtains will do the trick or mirrored film in the meantime ;) Happy New Year :)
@@PropertyVlogsUK I’m in a new build in a village I myself and generations of my family grew up in but unfortunately a portion of society today have zero manners or respect for others and literally press their faces against the window to look in so although they’re lovely homes it’s not nice when built like that a shame developers don’t think of things like that when they plan them out
