Barb agreed with Hannah that her son needed to be a “real man”. Yet, the irony is, she raised her son this way and even told Madi to agree with his lifestyle of “partying and socialising” when he was going to be a married man soon with more important commitments than partying. Hannah Ann totally surprised me! Didn't know she had this in her. She's the only woman this season to tell Peter what's up and let him know that his behavior is not ok. In this moment, I was kinda wishing she was the Bachelorette. I hate how Peter handled this season, and Hannah Ann (and the other woman) didn't deserve to be hurt as much as Peter hurt them. Honestly, Peter was an awful Bachelor.
If people understood the difference between codependency and interdependent relationships then the choices wouldn't be so confusing. Codependency is so toxic in a relationship. Two codependent people in a relationship will have very hard time ever finding growth....

I agree with you. He was being manipulated by his mother and the producers of the show who wanted to see a proposal. He does not deserve all of the hate. Also, no one is holding Madison accountable for her part of this. By not telling him sooner that she wanted to save herself for marriage, she was manipulating him too. I hope Peter has some good friends who can help him overcome all of this. Between his mother and Hannah A, he got beaten up pretty badly tonight.

did you not hear how barb said maddie came 3 hours late saying she didn’t want to meet his family and then when she finally showed up she didn’t apologize? maddie also basically implied she didn’t love peter as much as he loved her and admitted they aren’t compatible. that’s adding on to the fact that maddie waited til the last minute to tell peter she’s saving herself for marriage and basically gave him an ultimatum without saying she loves him. also when barb called her out on it maddie didn’t apologize, smirked the entire time, and spewed some bs about how she is unapologetically herself and how she won’t say anything negative. translation: i did what i did and idgaf what u think. not a good look for a future daughter in law.

Unpopular opinion, but I feel like Peter gets too much hate. Honestly I have no idea how I’d react if I was in his situation. It’s easy to judge his actions in hindsight but in the moment with Maddi leaving him like that and leaving Hannah Ann still there, I get why he wanted to make it work with Hannah Ann. Of course he’s not perfect and made mistakes, he’s flawed just like the rest of us. Only thing he can do is learn from them and move on.

Not going to criticize anyone, just here to say that the way Hannah Ann and Madi stood up for themselves in these last two episodes was awesome and empowering to watch. Obviously they're both very different, but wish the best to both of them.
