I do not think that the Holy Spirit submitted, if you shut Him down, He respects your free will, but the ones who miss out are the hungry ones who would have continued. Don’t shut down the movement of God.

If they don't wake up to their condition the Holyspirit is going to shake them up....I believe if we go back to Moses and the Tabernacle and asked the Holyspirit how the order process should be

It blessed me because we are so often crippled by fear of offending both God and man that we don't do anything at all. I believe watching this was no accident. I feel called into training for a future ministry of some kind. I'm getting images and dreams and even strong cravings to be drawn closer to God's Heart and partner with Him. I needed to see this, because I did sense an independent and rebellious spirit trying to tamper with what I feel God is calling me to. I didn't realize this sense of independentness was a strike against me from the enemy. Although I did sense my heart was not as loving as it ought to be when I thought these thoughts and so for that I sensed something was off. It's funny 'cause I've been praying for more humiliation. And throughout the day, the words "the greatest leader is the greatest servant" has been echoing in my heart. Those words instantly make me rethink my actions and I will immediately act out on love rather than emotions.
I'm new to learning how to exercise my spiritual authority. I get confused sometimes as to whether or not I should speak authority against man or the enemy. I'm making mistakes along the way, but I'm also learning how to improve in these areas. I pray that I never fall into temptation of self-exultation.

Agreed. Also the bible says to call no man a father and that our teacher is the Holy Spirit, I do believe in submission to godly leaders but not to dictators. A pastor is supposed to be humble and teach people with meakness even if they find hard to understand things. To lead in the world is very different than pastoring a church acording to the bible, there should be no political spirit within the church. I believe in honoring pastors but also in telling them the truth IN WISDOM and not kiss their a** just to get points like I saw so many do. In conclusion, being a pastor like God wants is VERY HARD and when we find one that has the right heart and attitude then we should be thankful and care for them.

What Patricia is saying is that, whether right or wrong, the decisions we make influence the move of the Spirit. God will give you what you ask of Him, that's His principle & He does not go against Himself. The bible does warn us against quenching the Spirit & that's what those men did, but because they decided it God gave them what they wanted.
You are right, however if the leader stops the move mive of the spirit it is between that leader and God. The non leader should be obedient to that leader of that house as God put him /her over the ppl of that congregation. If you all are not in sync or if the leader continues to grieve the HolyGhost, its time for you to ask the Lord to leave that church.
Discernment does not mean that you are being contacted by the heavenly realm all the time and for you to start asking questions of whatever it is that you perceive to be from the heavenly realm , right off the bat and believeing it . (1)Prove this spirit FIRST by seriously asking it for some I'd , it's name and or title . (2) What it is ?? . (3) What is its purpose in contacting you first to begin with , is ?? (4) What does it want you to know ?? (5) The big question , has it been sent by Most High GOD to inform you of something ?? When you ask the spirit this main question , it MUST answer this question truthfully , it has to give you a yes or no answer and - nothing - different from this . If it tries to then , you should know to leave it alone and not engage it any further . Break the connection and move on about your business as usual and do not turn back for any reason at all . Not even out of curiosity . This is a fatal mistake because the spirit is still there waiting for you to come back and chat and it knows that it has your undivided attention the second you turn and - Will Do All It Can - to keep it and to keep you coming back for more . Leading you to think that you are spiritualy gifted and do have the spiritual gift of discernment , without ever letting you think anything different and please do not ask the spirit to answer this question . This is like asking a child if they want ice-cream . If you do have this spiritual gift then , you should not go to a simenar to learn how to develop it further because then you are getting into whichkraft , dispite what anyone else will tell you and if do decide to go ahead with this , then you - should - feel something is wrong with this right from the start and stop the course but if you decide to proceed and ignore your gut reaction then , this decision is on you . Never forget the spirit realm was here before us it can not go away , ever but we can .
