Now that we have the new studio and are able to film more regularly, would you like to see more content with people coming back and getting a 2nd, 3rd, 4th haircut with us just like Matt did?
YES! Especially if someone isn’t fortunate to have thick hair or a full hairline. Its cool to see how your able to make their haircut look better every time they come in. Definitely do a variety of situations and continue doing the first time haircuts and big transformations. Love your content man, ive leaned a lot from you. My consultations are so much better because of you. Youre my favorite barber on youtube and i wish i can get a haircut from you but im from the US…
I would like to see people coming back for for additional visits. But keep the new clients coming it’s always great to see the original transformations.
I think two more sessions of this same cut and it will totally hide his receding corners. I have a very similar hairline to this young man. I had been shaving bald for 5 years then I saw this haircut in a list of styles for men with recession. I just had my second cut and I think one or two more sessions will have it looking how I want. I can’t believe I could’ve had a decent hair style all these years but opted for the bald look. I hope there will be a part 3&4 to this series. Good looking out Regal Gentlemen

I have very similar hair to Matt. I found this pair of videos about 5 months ago. I’ve cut my own hair for the last 10 years, and have been following the tips in these videos for the last 5 months. I’ve been getting the best results I’ve ever had, friends and family complimenting that it looks like I might have more hair than I did 5 years go (I definitely don’t). Thanks for these videos!
No shade being thrown...He approaches a thinner haired receding “balding “ head much different than my barber....My barber had me grow my hair our for two months (the top), still got a drop fade into a taper every week on the sides. My corners vertical bars are way stronger with a Chicago C ( makes the lineup fresh and eliminated the appearance of receding and then he created a perfect lineup across the front that appears full thick and symmetrical. Not that either ways right or wrong just two different approaches and as long as the clients happy it’s a win. I do appreciate how you take the time put thought into the cuts and do your best to work with clients like us. It’s awesome your able to improve this guy’s confidence which is the best part of a cut is walking out feeling fresh and for many men in this circumstance that’s not the case. I have essentially the same recession as Matt and I've been scouring TH-cam for a couple of years trying to find ideas for what styles might be possible while jumping on finasteride and minoxidil to save what's left. My barber has given me basically the same style. So it's nice to know he's done the best with what's available to him. A lot of people would say to just shave it. But I enjoy going to my barber and I'm not ready to give up that ritual. Going bald isn't just about losing your hair. Nobody ever prepares you for the fact you'll start losing some of life's simple pleasures like going to the barber. Going to the barber is about the only beauty pampering a lot of men, including myself, do. So it's nice to have stylish and honest options to keep that ritual up. Are there any other variations on this style for this type of recession that you could suggest to change things up from time to time?
get on finasteride and minoxidil and derma rolling. your hairline will come back add in a hair growth/anti hair loss shampoo and you will be golden. Thing s can be done to grow back hair.
Yeah i have a suggestion, dont do this dont cut the front hair and make yourself look more bald grow out the front so it can look like you have fuller hair , this barber made this guy more bald
I also have the same receding like this model has, before pandemic whenever I went to barber I always had to make sure I say the top just maybe half inch off, and shave the sides. somehow eventough Im still not near that faze of my life I always end up looking like some middle aged dad, i just say yea yea thanks and go home trying to remodel it or something with wax or gel to look it more modern. When pandemic hit i could never imagine I would have to take matter in my hands and actually learn how to trim and cut and stuff. Even to this very day I still do my hair on my own, I havnt been to barber since Feb 2020. So im finally getting what I want and how I want it. Basically Im enjoying my hair or whats left of it haha, I love how you did this guy, he really looks good!
That’s great that you could turn into a positive and learn a new skill too! Sorry about your experience with barbers before though. Just a random note as you mentioned gel/wax. Definitely try a different too. Something matte and that could elevate the cut you’re giving yourself even more!
Facts bro, i used to be so scared of losing my hair.. i had only maybe 1 inch "recession", after i buzzed everything i was like damn.. i'm never going back to having hair again, it feels better and ladies like it, even got into actually shaving my head too, feels good.
I like it. It looks thicker, without looking like he’s desperately trying to cover the recession. My OH has buzzed his and he loves it, as do I. Each to his own
why is everyone like "SHAVE IT OFF" these days just because a bit of receding? shave your hair just because you don't have a hairline like you did when you were 12? I don't get it. this man still has hair and a few good years with it before he has to think about buzzing it off.
honestly the fact that hes just receding he should get a hair transplant to fill it in, hes a good candidate, everything else is still full, has no big bald spot at the back
@@Andy-uw9cg That's not my point. Just look at your grandfathers - very few of them shaved off their hair in the course of their lives just because they had hair loss. And was that why they were undignified, ugly, or ridiculous? far too many are blinded by modern beauty ideals of what the ideal man should look like. of course, anyone can do whatever they want with their hair, but the current course is kind of absurd.

Many years ago I lived in a windy city in California, once I got in a line at our local post office and noticed our accountant two or three spaces up from me. Now this nice man had a comb over to beat all comb overs. It started in the back of his head about 1/2 to 1 inch above his hairline, and then combed in somewhat of a zig zag swirling pattern to cover top, sides and front of his head. Truthfully one probably wouldn’t have noticed his hair if it weren’t for the gale force winds that blew in every time someone went in or out causing the hair to raise about three inches off his head until the door closed again and it settled back down in it’s original pattern. If one person had let the tiniest giggle escape their lips, we all would have lost it, as all eyes were glued to that man’s head. Here’s my take on thinning hair, if one has lost so much hair that they are now sporting a bozo cut, then I’d say shave it off, or go get a glued on topper. The bozo cut/style only looks good on bozo. I think the shaved head look is nice, tried to get my ex bf to go for it, he wouldn’t cause he was happy sporting the bozo look. 😂
Fantastic haircut. But may I ask about the decision of leaving the under part of the neck unshaven? Does the straight line from the back of the jaw going down not look a little weird?
