I mounted this skid plate with linkage guard to husky fe350.. I recommend using stock front mounting bolts upfront (instead of provided bolts) and use shorter bolts of the two lengths provided for mounting rear metal bracket. You must strongly bend linkage guard to allow metal bracket to snap over bottom frame cross bar.
@@Drewski423 not too bad.. he was still on the bike.. i think it was just an unfortunate angle.. ktm790r, on singletrack, part of an old down log sticking out just a little over the rut. he caught the front edge of the plate, it tore down the seam, knocked the gas tank off and bent the mount, pulled tank off fuel hose.. it was a mess.
@@Drewski423 Yeah, i imagine the 790 just has alot more front surface area.. i have the axp on my 501 and i'm thinking of going with the molecule just for the fact that it utilizes the threaded inserts in the frame instead of using that bar across the two uprights. I had a hell of a time installing it, I just don't even feel like going through that every oil change.
