Beautiful song. When my dad hears this song, he said that it reminds him of his father, who's already dead. I never met my paternal grandfather. I once showed this song to a friend who lost her father. She said that it was a really beautiful song and that she misses her father. Her father died this year. He was a good friend of my mother. I wanted to help her. She never heard that song until I passed it to her. My parents are still alive.

Thanks for this beautiful song. At the same time it describes the two men that i loved the most in my life - and will so till i die myself. My father and grandfather taught me everything that was important in life. I am almost 50 now and this song describes perfectly the relationship I had with them. They both have been gone for many many years now ( 27 years and 34 years) when I meet them again I wull say "every word you said to me was true". They are also the only ones that never lied to me. Thanks a thousand times for writing this

Finde es trotzdem nicht lustig dass manowar den selben Song in zig Sprachen razshauen, die Aufnahmen sind auch nicht gerade neu, und auf ein neues album warte ich seit the Lord of steel.
Die letzte 4 track ep ist auch schon wieder 3 Jahre her.
Die bekommen ein arbeitstempo wie metallica.
@@Stefan-1978 die Ideen sind einfach aus. Lords of Steel war schon ein Tritt in die Eier (Gringo, ok, aber sonst?) Ich glaube, es ist einfach wahnsinnig schwer, jahrzehntelang erfolgreich die selbe Musik immer ein bissl anders zu machen. Und ich bin bei weitem "liberaler" als Freunde von mir. Ich freue mich, wenn's einen guten neuen Song gibt, und dafür eine Tour! Das reicht mir ja schon...
