I do have a scenario. A MASSIVE orc army (500,000 to 800,000 strong) with an invading force from the Free Peoples (elves, men, and dwarves).

Actually if you dive deeper into the lore there are a lot of grey characters in LOTR. Even Sauron and his master Mirgoth were originally good but became evil and corrupted many beings. The balrogs for example were once a kind of "angel" spirit kind that git corrupted by Morgoth.

19:00 that's interesting i've never heard that criticism about the series, i do believe many of the races in the trilogy are grey you can say. Most men were susceptible to powerlust, most Dwarves were greedy, and some Elves were reluctant to even take place in the war because it "didn't concern them". So i think there definitely is a "grey" spot for everyone in the series, but that's the beauty of when they eventually do come together for the greater good
