Very nice collection, Wako. You have refined your collection so much in the last three to four years. It's interesting to see how your tastes have evolved. And it has been enjoyable learning about the various characteristics of knives along with you. Thank you for sharing this passion with all of us.
Wako ... all i can say is WOW ... that is a very FINE collection you have ... some of those look like new condition never used ... I think Bark River needs to send you free of charge on a hunting trip of your choice lol ! ... I am very sure you are there best customer ! .. Thank you for the show .. my Fav was the Elk handle
WOW!!!! I don't have any of Bark River knives but you have so much of them! Thats amazing! Can imagine how much money you have just thrown out for them!
One of my hunting friends is a barbor. His knife was by far sharper than mine and I was scolded by him on my dull knife when I was taught how to hunt deer by him about 8 years ago. Since then I have been collecting and sharpening knives. I met with Bark River about 5 years ago and was amazed at its surprizing sharpness and easiness to maintain. Thanks.
I once experienced their denim micarta scales severely bent and detached from the tang on their front end. It was replaced to a new knife under their life time warranty. I experienced it just once and the other all wood scales haven't detached yet although some have shrunk decently. But the shrunk scales were replaced or the protruding tang and pins were ground down depending on the cases also under the warranty. Thanks.
This is too much. So beautiful. That is amazing, and it's so cool to think that you actually use all of those knives the way that they were meant to be used. Thanks for all of the great videos, these are the best knife videos on TH-cam. :-)
I re-profiled my 3V Gunny to a much thinner geometry, much like you did Doctor (down to A2 geometry), and it worked exceptionally well this past deer season. I have a Gunny Hunter on the way and am curious as to whether it's geometry will be as you have been suggesting all of these months. If it is, it should be the "Wako Gunny".
thank you very much for sharing your beautiful collection with us i hope oneday to be able to buy myself a bark river knife i think they must be the very best...thank you
I'm absolutly impressed, awesome Collection. But do you think your search for the "perfect" hunting knife will ever find a end!? Good luck for your search and have a nice week. Greetings from Germany Kuma-Bran
must be Bark Rivers favourite and most appreciated customer. The pink one tho, it's a crime ;) A HD, large format photograph of all those knives in a light box would make most excellent screen saver, wallpaper, t shirt, fabric print even
I handled a knife in buffalo horn. It smells like burning finger nails (I supposed that's just a guess) when you remove material. It's not fun, but hard as rock. Thanks for sharing the video with us! I'm still saving up for my first Bark River knife. It takes a while with a young family to pay for. I hope I can decide by the time I am ready to buy! Right now I'm trying to decide between the Gunny and the Aurora. I've always wanted the Bravo 1, though.
I solf off many of my Bravo1. I figured out clearly 3V Bravo1 is too heavy for hunting purpose, and the traction grooves/jimping is sharp and annoying. A2 Rampless in wood handle is mine. Thanks.
I am curious as well. KSF has so many stocks and it is difficult for me to chose one. But in other words I don't need to be in a hurry to pick one. Its grind looks lower than regular one. Its slight drop point and a bit shallower belly looks like making a better hunting Gunny though. Anyway the issue will be if it can take as small angle as A2 one. Thanks.
Now you have to resheath all these. Hopefully you remember which sheath went with which! Once you find your "ideal" few, I recommend selling off the collection so you can recoup your investment Wako! That is a ton of money there!
hey wako, will you be doing a video on converting the saber grind on the 3v gunny hunter to convex? just ordered the gunny hunter after watching your video and edge problems with 3v gunny factory edge.
The Bushcrafter has cool looks but ridiculous geometry so to say Scandi-convex. It is actually very low convex to make an extremely large edge angle like 40 degrees. Its factory edge is almost useless as a cutting tool unless we largely reprofile it. You had better avoid it from my experience. Thanks.
Really impressive collection! I'll have to check out Bark River since I live fairly close to them. I've been needing an excuse to try 3v and that Fox River looks like a winner for me.
I have ever heard Aurora has large edge angle on its belly to tip. For strength as a drilling tool, it can be true. Bravo1 has a hand filling handle and a thick blade as a survival tool. As a real cutting tool Gunny seems the nicest. Thanks.
I wonder if there is someone else in the world that has so many Barkies (except Bark River themselves). Wonder too if they know your channel. For such customer loyalty, they could make some "Wako special Hunter" for Christmas or so. Wouldn't that be a nice present to reward you with all the money they made? You could make a review and field test. For sure a very cheap advertisement for them. Hum, hum...

That's the nicest collection I've ever had the privilege to see.

The slimmed down favorites based upon field experience 2019 version is a MUST!😎
I love the classic drop point hunter but the blackjack looks totally cool in curly birch! Nice collection.

Very nice collection! A lot of people today just collect knives but not use them, but you use them for sure.
Been looking forward to seeing this year's collection update. Some very nice pieces there.
What a beautiful collection! I would like to see your 2016 collection.
I'm absolutly impressed, awesome Collection. But do you think your search for the "perfect" hunting knife will ever find a end!?

Beautiful knives, enough to outfit a small army.....
I started collecting Bark River knives 3 years ago. Thanks.
My favorite knife is the Classic Drop Point Hunter, the best hunting knife ever made in my opinion.
Gorgeous knives! Thank you for sharing them!
Time for a 2018 knife collection show off!
you should try knives of Alaska elk hunter D2 tool steel it holds an edge a lot longer than my bark river knives.

I can't stop watching!! I just want one really bad now.
Great collection Wako. I'm envious.

Wonderful collection!! Thanks for sharing.

I am in awe... So many beautiful tools
That's a lot of beautiful knives!
Phenomenal knives and awesome reviews and videos as always.
Was looking forward to this video! Thank you.

your collection is really a dream for me!
hey wako, will you be doing a video on converting the saber grind on the 3v gunny hunter to convex? just ordered the gunny hunter after watching your video and edge problems with 3v gunny factory edge.
Nice Collection..I believe you have the biggest collection of BR I've seen..I like the BR Bushcrafter in 3V..I'm starting a collection now.
Thanks.

Trail Buddy looks like a long line skinning knife. It won't cut out the muscles very efficiently. Thanks.
Have you thought about doing a 2020 knife collection video?
One amazing collection. Top notch!
Very nice collection, thanks for sharing.
Very, Very Nice... I wish I could afford just one or two of those!
man that's one dream of a collection!
Man those are some nice blades
Wako, will there be a 2015 edition?
Impressive! I'm looking forward to the non-rbk's
Beautiful collection.
nice collection, i bet you prefer your f1 over all those bark rivers!
Impressive collection! Thanks for sharing.
Great Collection!
AMAZING!!! Very impressive collection.
I'd be happy with at least one knife..... A nice quality bushcrafter.
how did you get interested in knives?
Wako I'm sure that you have more than just 2 bravo 1 knifes?
So you should start collecting Bark River knives sometime.
oh my god I'm in heaven this is so beautiful how long have you collected it
He has $6,800 minimum invested in bark river alone!!! Wow wako what do you do for a living?
You should make your own knives. I bet they would be excellent.
What do you do for a living? ;) Very nice collection. You must have the biggest Bark River collection in all Japan.
Nice Afghan rug. Looks lovely
Amazing! In searching for perfection, one must journey far....
Very enjoyable video Wako, t)
At this rate Wako soon you will sound like a native english speaker
I have ever heard Aurora has large edge angle on its belly to tip. For strength as a drilling tool, it can be true. Bravo1 has a hand filling handle and a thick blade as a survival tool. As a real cutting tool Gunny seems the nicest. Thanks.
I like the way he talks
Virtuovice san, You have a fantastic collection, Thanks for showing your collection! What is actually your favourite steel? ありがと ございます
My current Bark River's best steel is CPM-3V which holds extremely long and does't take any micro chips. I cannot believe it myself. Thanks.
I love the recluse , i have 2
34 knives?
wako uses his knives for hunting unlike other youtube knife boys that use or make knives to cut plastic bottles, newspaper and twigs
If you had to choose one among those knives, which one would you pick? That's the one I am going to buy!
Wow we love it
What is your profession Virtuovice ? I only have 7-8 Barkies and I thought I have a lot, hmmmmmmm mmmmm mmmmm.
he's a doctor
After 5 or 6 knife then they all look the same with just diff. handle :)
Belíssima Coleção.
Sweet collection. I wish I could understand wtf he's saying half the time though. I can't deal so I just look at the knives on mute. Lol
14:30 yes that one please. Thats the one for me :)
No. I seem to have been lucky. Thanks.
You must need to cut a lot of things! Lol!
I wonder if there is someone else in the world that has so many Barkies (except Bark River themselves). Wonder too if they know your channel. thats like $6000 in knives.. wow
