ITBP Stopped Us At Chialekh | Vlog 2: Kailash Mansarovar Road to Lipulekh Pass

Dharchula to Lipulekh Pass itinerary:
As we reached Chialekh (from Dharchula) ITBP stopped up and asked to return. Why? Because we needed an Inner Line Permit (ILP) to cross Chialekh. Where in Dharchula we were told that we can go up to Gunji village without any problem as long as we are carrying a copy of Adhar Card, at Chialekh BOP we were told otherwise.
And since no tourist has accessed this route ever HOW COULD WE KNOW FOR SURE!!
Unfortunately, my Dharchula to Lipulekh Pass motorcycle trip on the newly made Kailash Mansarovar Road remained unsuccessful. But that doesn't matter. I shall return to Dharchula next year in 2021 when (reportedly) the Kailash-Mansarovar Road to Lipulekh Pass will be open for tourists.

DAY1: Dharchula to Gunji via Chialekh (72 km)
DAY2: Gunji to Nabhidang to Lipulekh (18+11 km)
