Gavin with the jersey of the year. Huge props to the Jomez crew. The editing, the filming, the graphics team, and let's not forget the music in that intro! 🔥
I really enjoy the production of jomez, but I have a suggestion on the preview of the holes. What about marking the drone on the map with some grafics? It would be much easier to understand the hole that way, specially the longer ones. Maybe even show the direction of what way the drone is facing ✌💯
Besides spending my off day with my family of course 🤷🏼♂️ Watching Jomez final round coverage is one of the best ways to spend the late morning/early afternoon time! Thank You 🙏🏼 Big Jerm and Paul Ulibarri!
They're marveling at Gannon's knees straight standup straddle putt. But look at his normal stagger putt closely. He's entirely balanced on his front foot, with almost zero pressure on the back foot, and as far as I can tell does not push off the back foot at all when he putts. He just fires it in from the hip followed with a nasty wrist flick. It's like he's falling forward and balancing that against his throw.

Appreciate the coverage as usual. One thing that stands out to me though, is that Jerm already knows what each shot is and therefore his excitement is lacking when it's shown on the video. I prefer it when he doesn't do the live commentary on the round.
GG Jomez wonderful edits as always. Great job Big Jerm for pulling double duty with the live coverage commentary and the post-production. Oh and Hi Uli!
JomezPro, always dropping that fire content! My crappy opinion nobody asked for, I think having some wind direction icons on the course map would be neat.
My only comment to the editing team is to include the players' scores at the beginning of the video. It would be nice to know where they stand before the end of the 1st hole.
@michaelmaniloff9297 yeah, but is he just using discs with the perfect amount of stability to flip to flat and not turn? Or is it actually a real beefy disc that the wind and his power is forcing to flip?
@michaelmaniloff9297 Thanks man. It's hard guessing cause he is either throwing an eagle or destroyer and those could be across a wide spectrum of stability when you bag multiples at various stages of beat in.
You know what I really appreciate? The lack of childish foot fault calls on long range drives, like the freebie on the score leader (Calvin) at 42:48 but there were several obvious ones. These had absolutely no bearing on the outcome of the game but I guarantee if this was FPO there'd be not only foot fall calls, but dozens of "drama" videos covering them.
Thanks for the amazing coverage! BigJerm, can you hold your comments until just after things occur? Throughout the rounds there are moments where you call out something a split second before it happens, because you saw it as live commentary. It’s kinda spoiling the surprise moments. Just a second longer would be enough. Sorry if this sounds like bickering or splitting hairs.
I don't like to be negative, but I'll call it constructive criticism. Ezra doesn't currently have the mental game to win tournaments. But like it was said in the intro, he will get there with experience.
Damn im gonna be broke after buying a Matty O Prince, Kevin Kieffer Strive, Silver Latt Rive and next Orbit General. Lol Oh well there are worse things...
I feel like I just heard Koling say Dickerson is a little boring to watch. He was complimenting, but I dunno. Sure, I guess compared to Wysocki, but none of them are boring, I think.
I would have preferred not to know on hole 1 that the whole course played easier today. You guys strike a great balance between not spoiling the round and not pretending that you have not yet seen it. But it seems like you get ahead of yourselves sometimes in sharing whole round stats. Not a big deal.
By the way, I like it that Jeremy has already seen and commented on the round once; it makes him very knowledgeable. It is also great that Paul played the round. The fact that these guys usually play the rounds and have been playing the courses for decades and know the field and the sport very well makes them perfect commentators.
Heimburg would have been even closer on hole1 if he didn't encounter those pinecones. Ezra SHANK on Hole8? ...and Uli says he played regular golf? A shank goes to the RIGHT, when facing RIGHT. Which way was Ezra facing? You guys got your nominclature bassackwards. The resulting effect, as the throw could have even stared out shank-ish drifting to the LEFT, Ezra pulled (Hooked) it right, behind him.
@@cornhub2445 You were probably due for one, work through it. It's not a hard concept to fathom. Whatever way/direction you're standing, a shank (Golfball hitting the shank & club face, the ball goes forward out too much the way you are facing) Ezra was facing left, a shank goes to his left from a line to the pin. The DG clown contingent just generally uses the term for a bad shot when in fact Ezra pulled it too much across his body and it ended up right. Righty Backhand: Shank left, Pull/Hook right. Reverse for forehand. You might have some sort of estranged flex-shot argument, go ask your phone. You guys use it like you just got shanked in prison, where every shanking is bad.
Good on Calvin for a fire round. But this is the boring part of such open courses. It is pretty much over with no drama. Making all the “chase” check ins useless. Wish they would just let gatekeeper do the full chase round coverage again
Uli’s biased favoritism of his brother in law is brutal. Fair to hype up his good shots but he is unable to be critical of anything bad. Calvin walked Rick on F9 on his DD track

I'd rather watch coverage on Jomez then anywhere else. Thanks guys and gals!
The boys always pullin double duty.. thanks for killing the coverage.

Jomez production is ELITE. This tournament was incredible watching in person yesterday all the bombs !
30:36 how is calvins foot still attached to his body?
After having a few high ankle sprains, that's painful for me to watch.
Yea I saw that too. Ouch!
...and it's easily avoidable if you don't wear a flimsy sock-foam-block as a tourney shoe☠
Really liked the announcer breakdown on players at the top of the video
Appreciate all your work! Love from Norway ❤️
And can’t forget the epic commentaters☺️
Would love to see a line on the graphic of the hole that shows the flight path of the drone and where it is on the hole.
loving gavin’s mix bag
Yup. Nothing but love for the Jomez editing team! But ayo. More of the multi follow flights please. Those are the best.
Pete sold me my first set of discs in 2016, Lakeside AZ. Best instructor ever!
Calvin’s shot on hole 2 was 487 feet off the tee it was insane in person
Such a treat watching Calvin play as always.
Well done and thank you to the editing team!
Rathbun looks like he's having a blast! Cool to see :)
Love the intro. Love the coverage. Love the commentary. Love for Jomez ❤💕❤
I've never felt more free than watching Gavin play today
Shoutout to the ghillie suit on 9 for throwing ezras drive back in bounds
@8:30 In Calvin's defense; the point of a pine cone is to be kicked out of their homes and find a new home, right?
good work filming/editing team!
Love the editors
Agreed. The editing is on point.
intros have been straight fire for this tournament, keep it up yall
Totally agree with everyone loving Jomez. I love seeing the discs. Thank you
Where were the Joseph Anderson highlights?! I'd love to see that -10 round.
Just discovered disc golf a few weeks ago and I love jomez tournament video's
At 42:30 Mr. Rathbun displays the perfect example of a foot fault for all the new players.
Confirmed. But who really cares. Would be annoying to stop play and penalize for that. Maybe we need a rule update.

Everything about your coverage is S tier, but tell me why the initial hole flyover with the drone footage is always pixilated?
How does Calvin hyzer flip bombers in the headwind like that? When I try that, they flip up and continue turning for an eternity.
Stable up yo.
