Hello Valentina, can you make a video on how you clean all those different type of textiles/fabrics at home, such as boucle/sherpa/fur/etc. It’s a bit expensive to get everything professionally cleaned all the time, where I’m from at least!
I’d love to know how you keep all your decor items with texture dust free! Like vases, pots, lamps and other decorative items. It seems feather dusters or towels would just get caught on them & leave fuzz behind. What is your recommendation? Dust is my nemesis! xoxo
I live in Colorado. One of my seasonal foliage switches is using pinecones from the yard. Working on gifts tags for Christmas using 1 inch pinecones this week. Also I pull out the fur Ugg throw that I have had for three years. 👍🏻 Love creamy beige. My walls, vases, rugs, pillows and bedding. The feeling white instills is - art gallery or hospital, which is perfect for some individuals. I love classy, cozy and edgy. These three descriptive words help me with all my decisions. I even dress classy, cozy, and edgy. 😂🧡😘🍁

23:10 that black vase is gorgeous. Great video as always. The color change in Fall throughout WNY is truly God's art. I always look forward to it. I'm intrigued to see what some of your favorite Fall florals and plants are! I simply stick to the color scheme, (a huge variety of greens, pinks, yellows and bright colors in Summer. Darker greens, burnt orange, maroons, mustard yellow, etc in Fall.) I like the idea of switching out the glass vases for large clay, or even iron! vases for the season.
I love how you take fall to a different level with the blacks and beige and the coziness of blankets, pillows. I of course love color so I do like the orange, dark yellow, browns and muted greens but I love your choices. Maybe in another life time for me but I do enjoy your style and your choices. Living in Florida heat it is hard to imagine fall and that is why I gravitate to those colors. But I definitely love, love, love your style.

Great ideas. Another idea for adding authentic clay texture into your house is to check around your area for local artists or artist collectives. I have found some beautiful handmade pieces that are one of a kind. The price point is not that much higher and I am supporting a local artist. One other comment because you all are fellow candle addicts, as am I, I've looked at some of the candles you recommend and a lot of them are 80 % paraffin. I don't know if you ever try soy or beeswax candles, but they give so much cleaner a burn and wonderful scenting. Again, I generally find them through local makers so I can support small businesses in my community.
I feel like I'm ahead this year. I just spontaneously changed my livingroom this morning and brought in most of these colors and textures. I feel really good now. Thank you. The best part is I didn't spend a penny! You are so inspiring!
I love, love, love your channel....I redid the great room in our Colorado home last January based on your inspiration! Its now a perfect blend of neutral urban and mountain living...we live north of Denver about an hour from the mountains. Today, the weather is cooler and I have all of my fall candles lit while I work from home...even though yesterday was 95 degrees. You are very talented and I adore the relationship you and Jack have. I find this couple adorable, their interior, not so much. The very, very monotone colors in their surroundings screams, add baroque golden frames on the walls, add paintings, add a few pieces of antique furniture. Take sterile to beautiful!

One of the selling points of the house we moved into a little over a year ago was the travertine backsplash in the kitchen. I loved how organic it was and different it was.
A lot of the things you mentioned are aspects of fire, or sitting by one outside - cozy textures of boucle and fur, black wood that reminds us of charcoal, smoky glass, iron (skillets). Definitely summarizes the quintessentials of Autumn. Well done. And without a ‘Happy Fall’ plaque 😏

I have both of the Pottery Barn vases you showed. I fell in love with the Quinn vase, when I saw it in one of your videos, and put it on my Christmas wish list, last year. The other I just purchased a few weeks ago and it’s gorgeous. Now I am eyeing the black one, from CB2, that looks like snakeskin. I am so ready for Fall decorating and am trying to hold off just a few more weeks.
Traveling from LA back to oregon. Glad you said travertine. My baths both have it on floors and countertops. almost hated it til I repainted walls warm white an almost white by Dunn edwards. It made it pop. Prior to that I tried to match the walls with two different off whites which subtly clashed with the variegated stone. Now I just need someone to clean and repair the stone.

The black wood surprised me at how good it looks for fall decorating. I picked up a black dough bowl at hobby lobby and I love it. Actually the white and terra cotta pumpkins look great in it. LOL kept the pumpkins. :) Not a fan of the moss look. Hi Jack! I love the way you support Valentina, so sweet.
I took a major risk when I first picked materials for our new build house. I heard that trends were moving toward nature. I saw the light travertine tile and put it in the Master Bath. I was really worried because I hadn’t seen anyone using travertine in quite some time. I paired it with a black octagon shower floor, and now I just can’t wait for it to be finished!! (Insert a Valentina squeal here).
I had to laugh at the fur comments. I'm of Swedish decent, first generation American... lived just outside of Stockholm for a while. A cousin from the Irish side of the family just visited. I keep the AC cranked and the blanket I gave her in the guest room was a reindeer throw. Before coming to my house, she had stayed with my sister who apparently had done the same thing. She looked at me and asked, "Do you guys own a reindeer farm?" We don't. (But my cousin Magnus does!😂)
