HAIRCUT & BEARD Trim Shape-Up by master barber of 24 years "Leo", the Ecuadorian-American owner of Leo's Barbershop.
Leo gave me a fade haircut. I asked him to keep the top long. He did exactly as asked and styled it handsomely. For the shave, he used a hot towel to soften the skin, and a straight razor to cut the lines. At the end of the shave, an ice cold towel was placed over the face to clean it up and wake me up.
With me in this video is the lovely Carla Marie Rupp, my mother.

I'm Brazilian and I teach English as a second language, and I have a genuine question. Which would you say (if not both) sounds more like something you would say normally: "Ecuadorian men have beard" or "Ecuadorian men have a beard"? I swear I'm not being judgmental. I just want to know which is more likely to be used by a native speaker of English. Hope you don't mind my asking. Best wishes

I'm a barber myself and I admire how disciplined the barber is about making sure his clients are in a safe zone! Here in Texas it's very rare to see any barbers take precautions!
Good point. He takes safety very seriously. Easy to feel comfortable with him. His business was so badly hurt when barbershops were closed.
I wonder if he explained it more because he was on camera? Not saying he doesn’t do it for everyone but he probably doesn’t explain to every client what he does for safety. I’ve only had one cut so far and other than wearing masks she didn’t explain she just did. I definitely would love for him to cut my hair anytime.

I Was looking for a barber the longest time throughout this pandemic and thank God I came across this TH-cam video. I went to go get a cut by Leo his craftsmanship,worth ethic, and barber skills is over the roof. I came in looking crazy and came out looking fresh. Words can’t explain how much Leo’s haircut has changed me, I always had trouble finding a barber that can cut long hair and trim the sides, but Leo did his magic and I enjoyed the show. I am able to roam the streets of NY freely now that I have this amazing haircut and thank you so much for putting his barbershop on the map.

Jason this guy is amazing . He is the Yoda of the barber world. Funny thing my barber just raised his price from $17 to now $22...ouch ! The only thing you needed was a beared fade and trimmed it down more . Yuchi will be happy the wilderness man look is now gone 😉

Honestly probably one of the best beard trims I’ve seen, this barber is paying attention to all the little details. My pet peeve is when barbers don’t clean up around the lower lip (the two sides) between the middle of the chin.
