    Really impressive, amazed how much work goes into it

    Top quality work once again. I'm amazed at the amount of work involved which the insurance company was prepared to pay for rather than simply writing off the truck.

      The problem is, the truck owner needs a truck to work, and nowadays if you order a new truck you're waiting 2 years minimum, my company ordered 3 new XFs, they have to wait for 2 years and a half, basically Fall 2024. Thanks to supply shortage.

    You definitely did the right thing by replacing the whole side panel. Perfect door opening and a very neat fit. I am enjoying your work on this repair. Thanks for the video.

    Evening Sebastian. Just been away with my wife for a few days so nothing better when I get home a one of your videos while she catches up on the soaps lol 😆 You can definitely see why Daffy Ducks 🦆 are cheap seeing all the rust bleed through on a new truck 🙄 My XF 105 10 plate rotted round the door shut 😫 Your skills really came together on this difficult cab repair with that plastic lid lol 😆 looking forward to seeing you finish it off and get it’s on its way 🤩

    Is it not the welding that makes them rust behind double skin panels which are unable to access when all done. All your spot welding will be heating and melting paint in places that you'll not see. You cannot do anything about it! Awesome work and so precise. Alot of man hours!🙌

    Спасибо за видео! Все привариваемые поверхности мастер чистит от грунта до металла, есть ли в этом необходимость? И как потом обработать от коррозии скрытые, приваренные поверхности, ведь всё будет ржаветь?

    Opłacało sie tak rzeżbić i wspawywać? Jak już kabina była rozbrojona. To nielepiej było cało nowa kabine obsadzić i by było mniej roboty i szybciej.

      Z biznesowego spojrzenia my jesteśmy ferma jutra zarabia na sprzedaży godzin roboczych . Można kupić wszystko nowe a nawet nowa ciężarówkę ale nikt my na tym nie zarobimy a na naprawie tak . I czy naprawiać czy wymieniać to zostało policzone i ktoś podja decyzje by naprawiać żeby było taniej i wszyscy są zadowoleni . Tak działa biznes . Dziękuje i pozdrawiam

    So this is not a not a judgement it is a genuine question as I love the work you do there so why do you drill through all the panels as that leaves holes 🕳 you have to weld up before or when you fit the new panels which is difficult when you don’t have access to the back panels your keeping. Then with the new panels you can just do as the factory did re spot weld the panels together this is what I used to do when I was repairing vehicles few years back as I had those spot weld removals drill bits that drilled round the weld left panels nice and clean and in tacked panel then just clean off old spot weld

    What happens with the VIN plate? I'm assuming you can't remove the old one and refit it?

    • @sebastianjedrzejczyk9597
      @sebastianjedrzejczyk9597  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No vin on cabs only on chassis

    • @FaresDjebbar
      @FaresDjebbar 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Trucks have their VINs etched on the Chassis, As for the Cab VIN plate, it can be replaced if Damaged, I had mine replaced on a 2008 Renault Premium after a stupid company driver ruined it on purpose when he got fired.

    DAF trucks have always been prone to rusting. But that is disgraceful for a truck of that age . Virtually a new truck still .
