    This is gorgeous on you!!! I also really love how you break down exactly how to use the palette. I wasn't planning on purchasing another palette anytime soon, but you're selling this one to me!😍🙌🏾

    Got mine on Sunday. Been busy with work from home so haven’t used it. You got a gorgeous look from it! Thank You for the hints and tips for what brushes to use. Some women on IG were saying the pomade was hard to work with. I have the Sonia G brushes for cream textures, so this will be a great way to put them to the test.

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The texture was pretty tricky but I think the Sonia G should work - those are great! Anything synthetic, flat or dense will make it easier to pick up the shadow. Hope you enjoy playing with your new palette! Thank you 🫶🏾

    I got mine Saturday but haven't fully played with it yet (grad school is kicking my butt already lol). From the reviews I have watched the major consensus has been wishing for the powder pan to be bigger. I agree that would have been nice. I also wonder if Danessa would consider offering individual pans of these shades for purchase or even make a similar palette with colorful shades in the future? Great video and I love the look you created ❤.

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I get why they didn’t make the powder shades bigger but it would’ve been great if they did. I don’t think she will sell them individually. She might come out with colourful shades? Then again m, maybe not lOl Thank you 🥰

    At 1st I said I wasn’t going to buy but after watching 30 reviews I will try, I bought the Patrick ta palette instead but now I really want to try this

      Have you tried it yet? If yes, I’m curious to know how the Patrick Ta compares to the DM. I decided to skip on PT since it seemed so close to this one.

    Hey Suko, my lil sistah queen! Another absolutely great review, thanks. I'm holding off on the purchase of this palette only b/c I have the Master Mattes palette from Makeup by Mario. Danessa is a truly gifted MUA, I adore her! I own several of her products.
    It's worth mentioning IMHO this is not a palette for the makeup novice. The synthetic makeup brushes were a good suggestion. I will however probably cave before Christmas and treat myself. Again, excellent work my queen.

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello sis! No need to buy it if you already have something similar - Christmas is just the perfect time to buy it . DM is so creative and knows what we need 😂 I can’t say no to anything she comes out with. I agree! The palette requires a little of work because of the pomade but I think the texture is what makes it great! So versatile! Thank you so much 🥰

    Im curious about this palette. The only warm color (red/orange based) I can see is Core, everything else seems to have cool undertones (green, blue/gray, etc). So I can forget about bronzing with it unless Core happens to work out, but it would be interesting to sculpt the face with these neutral cool tones, especially now that the cooler months are approaching. I was going to get the Esum Sculpting palette (because it has the neutral cool tones to shape the face without bronzer), but Idk I may get this instead, or both. Not sure. Maybe the powders would be easier to manipulate without moving around my foundation. Not sure. I also have Viseart Neutral mattes... That might work as an alternative as well. I use it almost every day for everything already (eyebrows, shading the face, chiseling cheekbones, lining the lips..).

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      On me, Harvest ( used it to bronze) and Core are pretty warm. If you’re around my shade, they should work for you. Yes, you can always use the other shades to contour, do your brows, and eyes. The Esum seems to warmer than the DM. I think it all depends on what you’re looking for. Both could be great but it sounds like the Viseart is already working for you. I’d say, get the one that doesn’t give you what you get out of the Viseart. Save money 😉

    Definitely not DARKSKINNED friendly

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Really? I saw Danessa Myricks using the palette on herself and since she’s dark skinned, I figured it would work for darker complexions.

    • @DrAsylumCraft_MUA
      @DrAsylumCraft_MUA ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MitsukoBlaise well she is about 2-3 shades lighter than me so of course it will work for HER. But if you are darker than her the shades will look ashy

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DrAsylumCraft_MUA that’s really unfortunate! I thought It would’ve worked for a lot of people.

  • @shhhperry9852
    @shhhperry9852 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I will not be buying this one, I have a huge problem when black owned brands release products with such light colors that they can’t even be used by Black people. Most of the shades in the pallet are ashy topes that will only look good on Caucasian skin. Which is ridiculous coming from a black owned brand. It’s like Pat McGrath releasing all that pink… very few black women look good in pink lipgloss, lipsticks, blushes and eyeshadows no matter how badly they want to wear it… it doesn’t look good.

    • @DrAsylumCraft_MUA
      @DrAsylumCraft_MUA ปีที่แล้ว

      Exactly. I was telling her this with this palette. It’s not DARKSKINNED friendly. If you’re darker than Jackie Aina good luck it’s not for you.

    • @shhhperry9852
      @shhhperry9852 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DrAsylumCraft_MUA Right, and I’m darker than Jackie, I wear the next shade up from her in the same foundation brand, and this would look like baby powder on me.

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I agree! It’s frustrating when black owned brands don’t make products for all of us. I think in this case, since the palette is so versatile it can work for a lot of different skin tones. Have you both had the chance to swatch it?

    • @DrAsylumCraft_MUA
      @DrAsylumCraft_MUA ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@MitsukoBlaise yes I have and I returned it. The shades were ashy

    • @MitsukoBlaise
      @MitsukoBlaise  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@DrAsylumCraft_MUA that really sucks! I was hoping it would’ve worked out for the both of you. Your frustration is totally warranted!
