- Dangal is the true story of an Indian father who trains his two daughters to win a Gold medal for India in wrestling. The movie captures the struggles of the girls and their family who are ridiculed as women for their athletic ambitions.
Dangal is based on the story of Mahavir Sing Phogat (played by Aamir Khan) and his two daughters Geet Phogat and Babita Kumari. The two girls each play themselves in this film.

Every time when i saw the last scene of wrestling, when the comentator said ' it's a gold for geeta' , i have got goosebumps on my whole body. Same wid when National Anthem starts....tears and proud in my eyes

when i first watched movie, even for me, the last scene was best. But actually after the movie aged, its the mologue delivered by Gita's friend wishing that she had a father like Aamir, was perhaps the best scene of the movie, which changes Gita, Babita's opinion of their dad

фильм 5 из 10, история реальная,а сюжет очень предсказуемый,я не смотря фильм уже его на перед предсказывал до мелочей, из реального,то что она выиграла и то что батя их учил, в конце я даже счет угадал как будит развиваться, и то что выиграет она именно броском 5 балов, на последней сек, это так же в старых боевиках такое бывает,когда уже ну все нет шансов,и начинает вспоминать сенсея (учителя) и делает на милли сек невозможное, только по этому 5 из 10, за предсказуемость, не могли просто сделать, что отстает на 1 или 2 очка и победила с запасом времени, так было бы не предсказуемо, я думаю на самом деле не было такого, а была просто победа и история ее тренировок и отца, остальное уже пафосный лоск, и мишура

In this movie, the girls never had such dream. How can it be a movie for Women Equality Rights?? There was 1 scene whereby the elder daughter, focuses on beautifying herself. Wearing qtax for a finger nails. Her father eliminates her accusing her of not being focussed on the training.
This movie's story is of that time when girls don't have any rights on themselves, on their dreams and ambitions.. And of a small village. Every child learns Or get inspired from someone or somewhere to have such ambitions. In this movie it is their father who are doing all the things for the betterment of their children. And gaining equal rights doesn't means that u always have to fight with ur family to achieve them. And now ur question that one of the daughter was busy in beautifying herself (in one of thescenes) . So this is their whole life story until the gold medal was achieved.. And distractiona are normal. Every person goes through that phase in life when they are confused due to whatever happening in their life, like in the movie coach was saying that her father's training was useless and her friends also making her distract.. So it's a part of life that didn't decrease her ambition to succeed after failures also.
