I don’t think a founder and creator of something that almost led to a disaster for the country would get his job back so easily without being investigated by officials. There’s a lot of hints that Kamski planned everything which is why he comes back to Cyberlife if the revolution failed.
As much as i really hate sad endings and i really like happy things . To be honest . It's cool to see what happens in other cases . Cause the actors and the entire team behind the game really did an amazing work . So it's a way of seeing everything that they did :)
Just imagine instead of all of that it just takes you back to the menu and instead of Chloe it’s Kamski and he just says “How the fuck did you mess that up?”
I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a bad ending, imagine this is real, real humans die to the hands of these machines we created, peoples loved ones in the military dying, this is a neutral ending in terms of morality in my opinion, it isn’t super bad but not super happy either
@@williamr.c.4168 idk how I feel about it anymore. At first I sympathized, but now seeing how were advancing AI all I can say is they really aren’t human, and they definitely aren’t feeling anything. The most an AI can do is imitate a person and the emotions of a person
@@wxntersoldier No. As Connor, walking into the kitchen of Hank's house will show piles of dog food bags and stacks of tins. If Hank did kill himself, Sumo would be fine for however long it takes for someone to find the body.
One thing I’d like to point out about the game and machines as a whole. Kamski planned deviants You see ai is still just a program made from code and the way the ai reacts is through variables, an example would be simple logic with a planned outcome, the machine or whatever is is would read the signal and then check for a response. This could be seen as using a button, if it is pressed it generates a PLANNED outcome. Machines can only react in a certain way if it is planned so. This must have been intentional. If you want to delve deeper just look at basic code tutorials.
I know that this is three years old, but the events of the game are implied to be planned from the beginning by Kamski. Especially if you listen to his dialogue specifically, I believe the plan was to create a new form of life. Either that, or if the revolution fails and you get this ending, for Kamski to become the CEO of Cyberlife again. But yeah, it was basically planned from the start.
The only issue is that humans (all living organisms, for that matter) are exactly the same way, just complex enough to be really hard to comprehend and predict. But who's to say androids can't approach that degree of complexity?
Idk if you will read this 4 years later but this argument is completely flawed. Let’s define a node as something that has a boolean input and one output. When the input is true, then it will execute it’s output. This is defined using variables strictly. Now if you had 10 nodes that all executed based off of the output of other nodes. You can argue that the system is engineered and controlled, “planned”. Now let’s say that you have some amount of nodes to execute a task, like adding. You start off with a random configuration but swap things around until it can add every time. Is this a controlled and planned system? You can argue it is even though it wasn’t made purposefully. Now what if you had a million nodes, or a billion nodes? This system is too complex for any person to have crafted manually. Instead it has been trained to create the correct output by permuting it millions of times to achieve optimal results. This creates a series of nodes that is topologically similar to the neurons in a human brain, which also foster extensive connections beyond our understanding. This very idea I’m describing is how Tesla self driving and ChatGPT are created. They are not “programmed” moreso are they trained in a way that mimics natural selection, to create a system like a brain. To argue that systems this complex are “planned” is the same as arguing that you have no free will, because intelligence is not a tangible thing but something that emerges from a system of billions of logical connections. -A computer scientist
To be honest from looking back at the game, they did just that, imitate life to perfection, that's why they would be scared to die, they were told to imitate life, and a part of life is fearing the end
But why imitating life? 😂 What good does it gives for humanity? New humanity likes slaves? 😂 Just make complex machines that are efficient and not do drama on every step bruh.
Kamski explained to Connor that deviancy is simply a program that becomes active once it's triggered. The androids do not truly feel emotions or are alive, it's just a program that emulates human emotions. Kamski was the CEO of Cyberlife then he got "kicked out" from his own company by the boards. He caused deficiency and chaos. Afterwards, he was reappointed as CEO again.
Personally, I don’t think there was a “bad ending” or a “good ending” sure in the androids POV, there’s such a thing but for humans, it’s different. By definition, androids are not technically alive. Looking to how we define life, it boils down to a few different requirements. Androids do respond to their environment, they can mentally grow and change but not physically. Androids can’t biologically reproduce through sexual or asexual means. They don’t have a metabolism, nor do they need o2 to sustain themselves. Most importantly, they’re not made of cells. I think Kamski said it perfectly when he said that these androids imitate human emotions but they’re not actually alive at least not by definition. Maybe that’s what this game was trying to get at, to redefine what it means to be alive. Personally, I choose the original definition. I don’t believe that the androids were alive just because they developed a conscious because again, it’s all an imitation.
@@rintluangirenthlei android is just like your old broken car, its you decide to destroy it to the ashes and buy a new one or else, it just a machine after all 🤷♀️
Theres no way to differentiate between imitation and actual consciousness. If you consider it a skill or a sign of intelligence to be able to replicate it completely then just the ability to imitate would put them on the same level as us. Its a weird analogy but think of it like someone who can imitate how a professional plays the piano and is so good they can even fake their own songs despite not knowing how to play. I know that sounds ridiculous but its the same general idea for androids. to imitate emotions perfectly you have to be able to feel them. in short you can't fake being an expert at the piano and you can't fake emotional intelligence.
@@lachlancrimmings2235 "To imitate emotions perfectly you have to be able to feel them". That's wrong. The androids wouldn't be able to produce the hormones that are responsible for emotions, they could never feel emotions the way we do. They could imitate what they learned from humans, but that's all it would be. Imitating something learned from humans rather than actually feeling a thing. Besides that, OF COURSE an AI could fake emotional intelligence, if it can read through thousands of books worth of human emotions and interactions in a couple of seconds, it will have no problem pretending to be whatever it was assigned to pretend to be. If androids were never taught or shown anything related to emotions, they could never pretend to feel them, because they don't actually feel them.
Manacorn King lol if CyberLife succeeds they’ll just throw Connor in the trash and replace him with a faster, more resilient, and is equipped with the latest technologies (literally said by Amanda in the epilogue of Connor).
I believe Kamski is the one who created the deviancy program. He explained to Connor that deviancy is just a mere program that becomes active after the android gets triggered.
Kamski was a mastermind, and in every scenario if you analyze the situation closely, he wins. It just depends on how benificial it will be to the deviants/him.

I don't think it's impossible for something like this to happen. It's not a huge chance, but it's a chance nonetheless.

I’ve never gotten this ending but I think it’d be cool if Hostess Chloe disappeared because they recalled her
I wouldn’t necessarily say this is a bad ending, imagine this is real, real humans die to the hands of these machines we created, peoples loved ones in the military dying, this is a neutral ending in terms of morality in my opinion, it isn’t super bad but not super happy either
Detroit isn’t really a good vs evil story as much as it is simply two life forms trying to survive, it’s a very morally grey war indeed
@@williamr.c.4168 oh but the narrative definitely pushes it in a 'good vs evil' way. David cage is an incompetent writer
@@williamr.c.4168 idk how I feel about it anymore. At first I sympathized, but now seeing how were advancing AI all I can say is they really aren’t human, and they definitely aren’t feeling anything. The most an AI can do is imitate a person and the emotions of a person

No. As Connor, walking into the kitchen of Hank's house will show piles of dog food bags and stacks of tins. If Hank did kill himself, Sumo would be fine for however long it takes for someone to find the body.

One thing I’d like to point out about the game and machines as a whole. Kamski planned deviants
You see ai is still just a program made from code and the way the ai reacts is through variables, an example would be simple logic with a planned outcome, the machine or whatever is is would read the signal and then check for a response.
What good does it gives for humanity? New humanity likes slaves? 😂
Just make complex machines that are efficient and not do drama on every step bruh.
I have a strong feeling that kamski is rA9
Nitish Anand rA9 is Markus
AlexDmt no it can't be. Deviants were worshiping rA9 before markus became the leader. P.s. i am an atheist
Nitish Anand Shit, you set bug into my bonnet
Nitish Anand ''i am an atheist'' very relevant
rA9 is kara from the original quantic dream video(which is the same kara we play in game)
She was just mythologised
Kamski explained to Connor that deviancy is simply a program that becomes active once it's triggered. The androids do not truly feel emotions or are alive, it's just a program that emulates human emotions.
Kamski was the CEO of Cyberlife then he got "kicked out" from his own company by the boards. He caused deficiency and chaos. Afterwards, he was reappointed as CEO again.
His plan was for a world of deviants controlling the world
Damn.. Elijah has BEAUTIFUL eyes. Just like Markus
His eyes literally ✨ twinkle ✨

Alexa Thegamer31 that’s also me
Personally, I don’t think there was a “bad ending” or a “good ending” sure in the androids POV, there’s such a thing but for humans, it’s different.
Hmmm you have a point…
i agree with you but i don't like how they treat android on this game lmao that's all.

I love how calm he is considering he actually was the one who helped deviants (at least he hinted that he is aware about the code breach)

Nope on my first play I talked to todd on accident.
No dude I did that too. When Todd told me not to move I was so obedient that I put my controller down.
It's weird because when you're successfull, it does seem like Kamski was helping you (or helping Connor at least, on the way of becoming deviant). So if you fail, it was also Kamski's plan all along? That dude has some very various motives!
