Deendayal Upadhyaya: The Last Ideologue? | Biography and Political Thought | [ Hindi ]

Deen Dayal Upadhyaya is known as the man who had developed the ideology of BJS (Bhartiya Jan Sangha) party, which is later inherited by BJP too. He had developed the philosophy of Integral Humanism and which was accepted as the official doctrine of the BJS party. His idea of nationalism has been seen as a continuation of Savarkar's Hindutva ideology. Christophe Jaffrelot called him ‘the last Hindu nationalist ideologue’. However, his Hindu nationalist philosophy attracted very strong criticism so much so that he has been called as 'Merchant of Hate' by one of his critics. Watch this video to know more.
