- Another acrylic pouring inspirational video. Coming back to what I love, inspired by the painting undertow. This is a commission painting, she really likes that pair and I was excited to make something similar! It will be finished with a cobra Satin spray varnish.

Basecoat:
1 or 2 parts floetrol
1 part paint (artist loft white or other color)
.25 part GAC 800
.5 part satin enamel (Behr or decoart)
Water to thin (whipping cream consistency)
Puddle Paint mixture:
1 part paint (less with golden fluids)
.5 part floetrol
Squirt of liquatex pm
Squirt of GAC 800
Water to thin, similar consistency to base
Cloud over mix:
1oz floetrol
1oz latex satin house paint
I teaspoon decoart satin enamel
I teaspoon behr white satin enamel
Water to thin - A bit thicker than your other paints

Well first you know how much I LOVE THE BIG CANVASES! LOL... then ....OMG !!!! When you put down the cloud set of colors ...I sucked in air! LOL.... it looked like 2 diff paintings! I thought just breathe.... Sara always pulls it all together !! LOL !!!!! And in true fashion !! THERE IT IS !! and OMG those closeups !!! I SWOONED !! It truly looked 3D... and those dry highlights you added.. YUM!!

Stunning...I especially love to watch the additional work you do once dry. The extention of colors adding to the flow as they merge. The vision you have in using that to create 3-D depth draws the eye into the piece in hundreds of new places. This kind of creativity is what sets apart the Masters. BRAVO!

@@SaraTaylor was total delightful time together! Curious I noticed that those 3 base colors got completely covered over by the accents which appeared to remain on top so wondering why even use differing base colors; maybe just go with simple white…? Txz!
Gosh, I see now that the Prussian blue popped through as a lot of the cellular lacing…
@@jeannecain9541 Precisely! The entire design of the three basecoat colors came up through to create different colors in the pearls.
I love this painting, I am watching again some old videos and getting the happy energy I get when I watch you paint. After taking a class in person I think I am ready to try these base colors combination and I am hoping my mixing paints create this amazing pearls. Thank you Sarah.

Oh boy! That is really beautiful. I could not believe the size of those magnificent CELLS!!!! Once you put the puddle paints on, they just went crazy, but they sure did the job. Once you added the finishing touches, it all came together to make such a magnificent painting. WOW!
