Hey I also started out without having my own kit and played a couple of years like that before I finally got one. A pair of sticks and a practice pad are a good start but might be a bit boring if you never get to play on a real kit. When I was starting out, I had access to a kit at high school and then later on at a shared practice space. I encourage everyone who feels the fire (no pun intended haha) to give drumming a try - it's so much fun! And thanks for the positive feedback on the cover, glad you liked it!
